Tonight, everywhere
- Website: this week’s lineup and specials at the top of the home page, updated by you, not a calendar from March.
- Instagram stories: the room filling up, the DJ setting up, the special being poured. Stories are where “tonight” lives.
- Google Business Profile: correct late-night hours, “popular times” left on, recent photos of a full room, and event posts.
- Facebook events: still how a lot of people over 30 find nights out.
Let the crowd market you
- Make the room worth filming: lighting, a photo spot, the screens showing something worth posting.
- Repost guests who tag you, with permission.
- Give people a reason to engage while they’re there: song requests, a photo wall on the screens, trivia or a tournament night. We build VYVE, which does exactly this for bars and venues, so this is something we know well.
The rules to stay inside
Alcohol advertising has rules. In South Carolina, the state’s alcohol laws and regulations limit some kinds of drink promotions and how they’re advertised. Check with your licensing contact before advertising drink specials, especially anything priced very low or free, and keep ads away from audiences under 21 using the platforms’ age settings.
