Website, domain and email incident response, Myrtle Beach, SC

Hacked, hijacked or taken over? We're on it the same day.

Your website starts sending visitors to a gambling site. Your web address stops pointing home. Your business email sends an invoice you never wrote. Every hour costs customers and trust. We pick up the same day, stop the damage, clean it out, lock it down, and hand you a written report of exactly what happened.

What we handle

The three ways a small business gets hit online, and what we do about each.

Stop it first

Before anything else, the damage stops: the compromised piece goes offline or into maintenance, every password, session and key it touched is changed, and nothing new can get out in your name while we work.

Hacked or defaced websites

Spam pages, injected redirects, malware, a defaced home page, a login nobody recognizes. We clean the site from a known-good copy or rebuild what can't be trusted, update everything it runs on, close the way in, and ask Google to lift any “this site may be hacked” warning.

Hijacked domains and DNS

A registrar account taken over, records changed overnight, your address forwarding to a scam. We restore control and the right records, turn on registrar locks and two-step sign-in, and if the domain was lost outright, our domain forensic review takes it from there.

Taken-over business email

Microsoft 365 or Google Workspace. Every session signed out, passwords reset, the forwarding rules and connected apps attackers leave behind removed, two-step sign-in on, and SPF, DKIM and DMARC set so the next fake sent in your name is rejected. We help you word the warning to your clients.

Evidence, preserved

Logs, copies of what was changed and a dated timeline, saved and sealed with a SHA-256 fingerprint before anything is cleaned, so your insurer, your attorney or a police report has what it needs.

A written report

What happened, how they got in, what we changed, and the short list of what to fix so it doesn't happen again. Plain English, written for the owner, with the technical detail attached for whoever needs it.

On-call retainer, so you're never starting from zero

For $199 a month we keep your site, domain and email on file before anything goes wrong: who has access, where the backups are, how DNS is set up. When something happens, you get a call back within two hours, and the emergency response is already half done. It includes a yearly lockdown review. Clients on our care plans get the same priority at no extra cost.

Who it's for

Owners who just found out something is very wrong.

Most small-business incidents aren't a hacker targeting you by name. They're an old plugin nobody updated, a reused password, an email account without two-step sign-in, or a domain sitting in a former web designer's account. Automated tools find those by the thousand, every day. That's why every website check we run includes a security sweep, and why we see these cases more often than you'd think.

We handle what lives on the internet: websites, domains, DNS and business email. We don't do office networks, ransomware on your computers, or law-enforcement-grade forensics. If that's what you're facing, we'll tell you on the first call and point you to someone who does.

If customer, patient or payment information may have been exposed, you may have duties to notify people. We document what happened; your attorney decides what it means. We're not lawyers, and nothing here is legal advice.

Questions

Straight answers.

How fast can you respond?

The same day you call: 843-331-6339. Retainer and care-plan clients get a call back within two hours.

What does it cost?

Emergency response starts at $1,500, a fixed price quoted in writing before we start. Larger incidents, like several sites or a site that has to be rebuilt, are quoted up front too. Nothing is billed by the hour. The on-call retainer is $199 a month.

What should I do right now?

Don't delete anything, and don't pay anyone who emails you about it. From a computer you trust, change the password on the email account your domain and website are tied to and turn on two-step sign-in. Then call us.

Can you promise they won't get back in?

Nobody honest can promise that. We close the way they got in, update and harden everything, turn on two-step sign-in everywhere it matters and set up monitoring, so the easy ways back are gone and you hear about anything new.

Do you handle ransomware or office computers?

No. We handle websites, domains, DNS and business email. For computers, networks and ransomware we'll point you to a specialist on the first call rather than learn on your emergency.

Do I have to tell my customers?

It depends on what was exposed and where your customers live. We give you and your attorney a clear record of what happened so that decision is made with facts. This is not legal advice.
