Huttenlocher Technologies LLC · Myrtle Beach, SC
Software architect. Live event pro. Same person.
Huttenlocher Technologies is a software company in Myrtle Beach, founded by Nikita Huttenlocher. We design and build production software end to end, including our own products, VYVE and Cue, and we bring the same engineering to every website and system we build for other businesses.
Nikita Huttenlocher.

I'm the founder and lead engineer at Huttenlocher Technologies, and I've been working with computers since I was seven. Today I design and build software end to end: the architecture, the database, the security model, the payments, the apps, the interface people actually touch, and when a project needs it, the firmware on the hardware itself.
I've architected and shipped a realtime live event platform, a SaaS with its own iPhone apps, native mobile apps, a desktop bridge into professional DJ software, AI moderation systems, and the billing, sales tax and payout systems that keep two businesses running on real money. All of it is live.
I also come from the other side of the room. I'm the booking manager, a DJ and a production engineer at Pierpoint Events, running audio, video and lighting for live events, and I've DJ'd hundreds of weddings and events over the years, plus nightlife across the Grand Strand. I've been the person standing there when the technology fails in front of a crowd, which is exactly why ours is built for that moment and not for the demo.
That's the standard every website and system we build gets held to: architected like production software, by someone who knows what it costs a business when tech lets it down in front of customers.
What I've built and shipped.
Every line here is running in production or about to launch. No class projects, no concept art.
A realtime live event platform
Six modules, venue TVs and guest phones in sync the same second, built to keep running on crowded venue Wi-Fi.
A SaaS with two mobile apps
A web dashboard plus two iPhone apps for wedding DJs and their couples, with contracts, payments and a live run of show.
Native iPhone and Android apps
Written natively for each platform, with maps, location, camera effects, push notifications and lock-screen Live Activities.
A desktop bridge for professional DJ software
Reads the track that's actually playing and puts it on every screen in the venue.
AI vision and moderation systems
Screening every guest photo and message before it reaches a public screen, with a human override on every call.
Billing, sales tax and payouts
Subscriptions, plan tiers, South Carolina sales tax, refunds, and money paid out to the people who earned it.
Internal tools
A team portal with roles, review workflows, a shared calendar and its own AI writing assistant.
Websites and online stores
Local business sites built for Google, and a store that prices every product option correctly at checkout.
Full stack, all the way down.
From the database to the lock screen to the DJ booth. This is what VYVE, Cue and every client project are built with, and all of it is in daily use.

Where the software gets tested for real.
Most developers never see their software used in a packed room. I'm usually in the room.
Pierpoint Events ↗
Booking manager, DJ and production engineer at Pierpoint Events: AVL production, DJ entertainment, photobooths and event rentals.
Production AVL
Audio, video and lighting for live events. The gear, the signal flow, and the moment it has to work.
Weddings and events
Hundreds of them over the years. Running the night from the booth, where the timeline is tight and there's no second take.
Nightlife
Residencies in Conway and North Myrtle Beach bars, where VYVE gets tested on real crowds every week.
A few rules we don't bend.
Show the work.
Every project we point to is live, or about to be, and you can click it. No mockups dressed up as client work.
Say it plainly.
If you need a better website and not an app, we'll say so. If something can't be promised, like a Google ranking, we won't promise it.
Architect it to last.
Security enforced at the data layer, money that only counts once it settles, and a plan for what happens when the network drops.
Answer the text.
You talk to the person who writes the code, and small changes happen the same day.
Software we own and run.
VYVE
The live event operating system.

A website, a booking system, an app, or the thing you've been running out of a spreadsheet for three years. A few lines is plenty.
