  • Oct 28, 2026Smart Popup by Supsystic: Does not prevent template-injection payloads from being stored in a popup text block and later evaluated by its template engineCVE-2026-115223 · WordPress plugins & themes · reported by WPScanMedium 4.9

The Smart Popup by Supsystic WordPress plugin before 2.0.2 does not prevent template-injection payloads from being stored in a popup text block and later evaluated by its template engine, because the filter meant to strip template delimiters runs before a decoding step that reconstructs them, allowing an authenticated administrator to execute arbitrary template expressions server-side and read PHP constants such as the site's database credentials and authentication keys.

  • Oct 23, 2026Craft CMS allows any authenticated control panel user to submit an element-search condition whose element selector is evaluated as a sandboxed Twig object templCVE-2026-115938 · Other software · craftcms · reported by 7004884b-51e2-48e8-b4a2-5ca29e80453eHigh 8.7

Craft CMS allows any authenticated control panel user to submit an element-search condition whose element selector is evaluated as a sandboxed Twig object template. Craft’s allowed column filter delegates property lookup to Yii ArrayHelper, outside Twig’s SecurityPolicy. Repeated single-segment lookups therefore bypass the sandbox’s empty property/method allowlists. The vulnerable condition value is ultimately cast to an integer. That does not protect the secret: the template can return author ID 1 when a guessed key character is correct and an impossible ID otherwise. The JSON endpoint returns entries for the first case and an empty array for the second, forming a stable remote character oracle. After recovering GeneralConfig::securityKey, the same user can compute Craft’s generic HMAC wire format offline. Signed parameters such as redirect are then accepted and passed to unsandboxed View::renderObjectTemplate(), where Twig’s string-callable form can invoke native PHP callables. The regression proof uses the harmless substr() callback and observes abcdef becoming cdef; it does not execute an OS command.

  • Oct 21, 2026The Broadcom AFBR-S50 time-of-flight sensor driver double-completes an RTIO submission when sensor data evaluation fails.CVE-2026-78116 · Other software · zephyrproject · reported by vulnerabilities@zephyrproject.orgMedium 5.2

The Broadcom AFBR-S50 time-of-flight sensor driver double-completes an RTIO submission when sensor data evaluation fails. In data_ready_work_handler() (drivers/sensor/broadcom/afbr_s50/afbr_s50.c), a non-STATUS_OK return from Argus_EvaluateData() calls handle_error_on_result(), which finalises the request with rtio_iodev_sqe_err(), but execution then fell through to the tail of the function and finalised the very same struct rtio_iodev_sqe a second time with rtio_iodev_sqe_ok(). Unlike the other error branches in the same function, this one did not return. Both completion helpers reach rtio_executor_done() in subsys/rtio/rtio_executor.c, which returns the submission to the pool via rtio_sqe_pool_free() and, for streaming (multishot) submissions, also releases the RX buffer with rtio_release_buffer(). The second completion therefore reads a freed rtio_iodev_sqe, pushes the same mpsc node onto the submission queue while it is already on the pool free list — splicing the two lists together — and re-submits the freed request so the next measurement is written through an already-released buffer. For one-shot submissions it emits a spurious success completion carrying stale userdata and

  • Oct 21, 2026A flaw was found in the `lm-evaluation-harness` component of Red Hat OpenShift AI.CVE-2026-17557 · Other software · Red Hat · reported by Red HatMedium 6.5

A flaw was found in the `lm-evaluation-harness` component of Red Hat OpenShift AI. An authenticated user, able to submit an evaluation job, could exploit this by providing a malicious model URL in the `JobSpec`. This vulnerability allows for the disclosure of the tenant's model authentication secret to an attacker-controlled external listener. Additionally, it enables Server-Side Request Forgery (SSRF) attacks against internal network endpoints reachable from the evaluation job pod.

  • Oct 13, 2026asteval is a Python expression evaluator designed for restricted execution.CVE-2026-102734 · Other software · lmfit · reported by GitHubMedium 5.5

asteval is a Python expression evaluator designed for restricted execution. Prior to 1.0.9, in asteval/astutils.py, the default Interpreter with numpy enabled exposes a ctypes type and permits from_address memory access. safe_getattr blocks the ctypes module but not reachable ctypes type objects, while attribute assignments use unfiltered setattr instead of safe_setattr. An attacker-controlled expression can derive an address with id, read memory through from_address, and write through an attribute assignment. The expression can read or corrupt arbitrary process memory, escape the intended sandbox, execute code, disclose secrets, or crash the host process. This issue is fixed in version 1.0.9.

Malcolm's nginx Lua role-based access control (RBAC) layer decides whether an authenticated user may reach a role-restricted path (e.g. /htadmin, /auth, /admin_login, /arkime/api/esadmin, NetBox, upload endpoints) by pattern-matching the raw, percent-encoded request URI. Nginx itself, however, selects which location block actually serves the request using the percent-decoded, normalized URI. Because the RBAC check never percent-decodes its input, an authenticated low-privilege user can request an admin-only path using percent-encoding (e.g. /%68tadmin.php) and have nginx route it to the restricted location while the Lua RBAC gate evaluating the un-decoded raw string finds no matching restriction and grants access.

Malcolm's nginx based reverse proxy contains a URL path normalization inconsistency between its Lua based role-based access control (RBAC) authorization layer and nginx's own request routing logic. Inefficient complexity in the Sieve filter evaluation of Progressive Robot hMailServer 6.2.24 through 6.3.5 allows an authenticated account holder to make the mail services unavailable with their own filter. A ':matches' pattern was matched by a backtracking descent whose time grew with the matched value's length raised to the number of wildcards, so a pattern such as '*a*a*a*b' over 800 characters took 44 seconds; and 'deleteheader' erased the fields it removed one at a time, so removing many fields of one name over a message's header cost O(N^2) (80,000 fields took 18.8 seconds). Sieve filters run on the small, shared delivery thread pool, so an account holder whose active script does this, fed a few messages they can send themselves, empties the pool and stops delivery for the whole server. The script is the account holder's own and cannot be set for another user.

  • Sep 22, 20269Router is an AI router & token saver.CVE-2026-56682 · Other software · decolua · reported by GitHubMedium 5.3

9Router is an AI router & token saver. Prior to 0.5.6, 9Router deployments that allow requests to reach Next.js without the sanitizing custom-server.js wrapper use the client-supplied X-9r-Real-Ip value as the bucket key in getClientIp, checkLock, and recordFail in src/lib/auth/loginLimiter.js for POST /api/auth/login. A remote unauthenticated attacker can rotate the header on every password guess so each request uses a new failed-attempt bucket and the five-attempt progressive lockout never returns HTTP 429. This permits unthrottled password guessing against the dashboard login and can lead to an administrative session if the password is recovered. This issue is fixed in version 0.5.6.

9Router is an AI router & token saver. Prior to 0.5.6, 9Router deployments that allow requests to reach Next.js without the sanitizing custom-server.js wrapper trust the client-supplied X-9r-Real-Ip header in src/dashboardGuard.js when isLocalRequest decides whether canAccessPublicLlmApi may skip API-key validation for /api/v1/* routes. A remote unauthenticated attacker can set X-9r-Real-Ip to 127.0.0.1 and be classified as a local client, including on the verified GET /api/v1/models route. This permits unauthorized use of the instance owner's configured LLM providers, consumption of paid credits, and enumeration of configured providers and models. This issue is fixed in version 0.5.6.

In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: thermal: intel: int3400: clean up ODVP on probe failures evaluate_odvp() creates per-ODVP sysfs files before the thermal zone and later probe resources are registered. The current unwind path only calls cleanup_odvp() from the late sysfs failure path, so failures after evaluate_odvp() but before that label, including thermal_tripless_zone_device_register() failures, leave the ODVP files and storage behind. Move the ODVP cleanup to the common ART/TRT unwind path so every failure after evaluate_odvp() releases the ODVP state. Also clear the cached ODVP pointers in cleanup_odvp(), because evaluate_odvp() can already call it for partial setup failures while probe continues.

  • Sep 17, 2026vm2 through 3.11.6 does not normalize `node:`-prefixed builtin specifiers when evaluating user-supplied negative (deny) entries in a NodeVM wildcard require polCVE-2026-92957 · Other software · patriksimek · reported by VulnCheckCritical 9.4

vm2 through 3.11.6 does not normalize `node:`-prefixed builtin specifiers when evaluating user-supplied negative (deny) entries in a NodeVM wildcard require policy. Although NodeVM strips the `node:` prefix during require() resolution, negative wildcard entries are matched by exact string comparison against the canonical builtin names, so a policy such as `new NodeVM({ require: { builtin: ['*', '-node:child_process'] } })` fails to deny the canonical `child_process` module. Sandboxed code can therefore obtain the host `child_process` builtin via `require('child_process')` or `require('node:child_process')`, gaining references to process-spawning APIs such as execSync and spawn, which is equivalent to host command-execution capability for untrusted sandbox code. Fixed in vm2 3.11.7.

The NeuVector admission webhook silently excludes containers from policy evaluation when their image path matches one of three hardcoded service mesh sidecar images. In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: KVM: arm64: Handle negative S1 walk levels in VNCR TLB size evaluation Computing the effects of a TLB invalidation involves looking at the size of the mapping cached by the TLB. For S1 mappings such as VNCR, this is deducted from the combination of the base granule size and the mapping level. However, this implies that the S1 MMU is *on*. When the MMU is off, we indicate this with the level being set to a "creative" value of -127 (S1_MMU_DISABLED). This ends-up being misinterpreted by pgshift_level_to_ttl() as it doesn't handle negative levels at all (the level is immediately cast to a u8 and only the bottom two bits considered), leading to an invalidation size of 0. Not helpful. Tidy-up pgshift_level_to_ttl() to handle these negative levels, and ttl_to_size() to always return SZ_1G when no valid TTL is present. This allows the removal of open-coded checks for similar situations. Note that the check for a negative value not explicitely checking for S1_MMU_DISABLED is deliberate, so that actual negative levels introduced with LVA2 and D128 can take the same path if we ever support them.

  • Sep 14, 2026ASTEVAL is an evaluator of Python expressions and statements.CVE-2026-55244 · Other software · lmfit · reported by GitHubMedium 5

ASTEVAL is an evaluator of Python expressions and statements. Prior to 1.0.9, FROM_PY in asteval/astutils.py exposes BaseException, SystemExit, KeyboardInterrupt, and GeneratorExit to expressions evaluated by asteval.Interpreter.eval(), while run() and eval() in asteval/asteval.py catch Exception rather than these non-Exception BaseException subclasses. When an attacker-controlled expression raises one of these classes, on_raise() passes the class to raise_exception(), and the resulting exception bypasses the interpreter's safety handlers and propagates into the calling application. A consuming service that evaluates untrusted expressions can therefore be terminated or have signal and cleanup handling disrupted, causing denial of service. The separately documented read-only open() capability is not part of this vulnerability. This issue is fixed in version 1.0.9.

  • Sep 14, 2026Description `SimpleACLAuthorizer` evaluated the user-level command set by returning early when `nimbus.users` was empty, before `nimbus.groups` was considered.CVE-2026-82431 · Websites & servers · Apache Software Foundation · reported by security@apache.orgCritical 9.8

Description `SimpleACLAuthorizer` evaluated the user-level command set by returning early when `nimbus.users` was empty, before `nimbus.groups` was considered. An operator who restricted cluster access by group alone, leaving `nimbus.users` unset, therefore received no restriction at all: every authenticated principal was permitted every user-level operation, including `submitTopology`, `beginFileUpload` and `getNimbusConf`. `docs/SECURITY.md` presents `nimbus.groups` as a supported way to lock down a cluster, so a deployment following the documentation could believe it was restricted while it was not. The failure is silent; nothing in the logs or the configuration indicates that the group list is being ignored. Both lists left empty continues to mean that no restriction is configured, which is the shipped default and is unchanged. Mitigation Upgrade to 3.1.0, where `nimbus.groups` is evaluated whether or not `nimbus.users` is set. Users who cannot upgrade immediately should additionally populate `nimbus.users` with the intended principals, since a non-empty user list causes the group list to be evaluated on affected versions. Operators should review Nimbus access logs for op
