Private servers · built in Myrtle Beach, run by us

A server in your building. Built for the job, watched by us.

Four servers for four jobs: files and backups, practice software, cameras, and AI that never leaves the office. We spec it, build it, burn it in for 48 hours, install it, then watch it every five minutes, the same way we watch every site we run. Or pick every part yourself.

Priced as you pick. Written quote before anything is ordered. Yours outright the day it's installed.

The four servers

One for each job. Drawn to scale, priced as built.

Each one is a full build you can change part by part. The price is the whole thing: parts, our build, the software set up and working, and installation on the Grand Strand. Priced from parts costs on October 25, 2026; memory and AI accelerators are at record highs this fall, so a quote can come in under the estimate when the market eases.

04 · AI that stays in the building

Private AI server

Chat, summaries and document search running on your own hardware. Nothing you type and nothing you upload goes to anyone's cloud.

For Law firms, medical practices, accountants and anyone who wants AI on client files without those files leaving the office.

Public AI tools are useful and most of them keep what you give them. For client files, patient records and contracts, the only clean answer is a model that runs in your building. This is that, built and kept current.

None of these? Start from an empty chassis and pick every part. We check it before we quote it.

Not a box from a catalog

Anyone can ship you a server. Here's what you're actually paying for.

Specified for the job, not the catalog

We start from what it has to run, how many people, how much data and how fast it grows. The parts follow. A practice server and a camera recorder are not the same machine with a different sticker.

Built here and burned in for 48 hours

Every build runs at full load for two days before it leaves: memory tested, every drive exercised, temperatures logged. Parts that are going to fail usually fail then, on our bench, not in your closet.

Installed, migrated and handed over working

We bring it, place it, connect it, move your data, set every computer up to see it and show your team. You don't get a box and a manual.

Locked down before it's plugged in

Encrypted drives, access by role, no default passwords, no open ports to the internet, remote access only through a private connection. The same standard we hold every site we run to.

Running in every site we run, checked live

Watched every five minutes

The monitor that checks every site we host checks your server too: is it up, are the drives healthy, is it hot, did a backup finish. We get the alert before you get the call.

Running in monitoring and protection

Backed up off site, and the restore is tested

A backup nobody has tried to restore is a guess. On the off-site plan, we restore something every month and tell you in writing that it worked.

Replaced before it dies

Drives have a service life. We track it and schedule the swap, so the first you hear of a tired drive is a calendar invite, not a failure.

Private AI, specifically

AI on your client files, without your client files going anywhere.

Most AI tools are a website. What you type, and whatever you upload, goes to someone else's computer, and their terms decide what happens to it. For a lot of work that's fine. For a law firm's case files, a practice's patient records, an accountant's returns, it isn't, and most firms end up with a policy that says "don't", which just means staff use it on their phones.

A private AI server runs the models in your building. Staff get a chat window and a search box that reads your own documents, on your own network. Nothing leaves. No account with anyone, no per-seat subscription, no training on your data because there's no one to train.

What it's good at: summarizing long documents, drafting from your own templates, answering "which contract has the clause about" across thousands of files, transcribing meetings. What it isn't: the biggest public model. The trade is privacy and a fixed cost over the newest cleverness, and for regulated work that's usually the right trade.

Good fits

Law firms. Medical, dental and veterinary practices. Accountants. Anyone whose insurer or regulator asks where the data goes.

Who watches it

The part that makes it a managed server, not a box in a closet.

Monthly, cancel any time, the server stays yours. Pick it in the configurator or on the first call.

Watched
$149/mo

We know it broke before you do.

  • Monitoring every five minutes, like every site we run
  • Security updates applied, with a note
  • Drive health and temperature watched
  • An alert to you and to us when something is wrong
Managed
$299/mo

You never log into it.

  • Everything in Watched
  • Changes by text: a new user, a new share, a new camera
  • Same-day response, on site when it needs it
  • A restore test every month, with the result in writing
  • A written health report every quarter
Managed and off site
$399/mo

Ransomware-proof, by design.

  • Everything in Managed
  • An off-site copy of your data every night, 2 TB included, then $8 per TB
  • Copies that can't be changed or deleted for 30 days
  • A full rebuild from the off-site copy if the worst happens
How it goes

From a call to a server that's been running for a year.

  1. 01

    Tell us the job

What it has to run, for how many people, where it would live. A call or the configurator

  2. 02

    Spec and quote, in writing

The exact parts, the exact price, the install date. Nothing ordered until you say yes

  3. 03

    Build and burn in

Assembled here, run at full load for 48 hours, locked down. About two weeks from yes

  4. 04

    Install and migrate

Placed, connected, your data moved, your team shown. Usually one working day

  5. 05

    Watched

Every five minutes, from the day it's on. And a restore test every month on Managed

Questions

Straight answers.

Do we actually need a server, or is the cloud fine?

If everything you use already runs in a browser and the subscriptions aren't hurting, you probably don't, and we'll say so. A server earns its place when the files are too big or too private for a cloud drive, when your practice or accounting software has to run on site, when cameras need somewhere to record, or when you want AI on client files without those files leaving the building.

What does it cost?

The four packages start between $5,870 and $10,310 one-time, built, installed and set up, with a care plan from $149 a month. The configurator prices any build as you pick parts. The number that counts is the written quote, which you get before anything is ordered.

Who owns it?

You do, outright, the day it's installed. There's no lease and no lock-in: the admin credentials are yours, kept in your client portal, and if you cancel the care plan the server keeps running. We just stop watching it.

What happens when it breaks?

Drives are mirrored or parity-protected, so one dead drive is a scheduled swap, not an outage, and on a Watched or Managed plan we see it fail before you do. Parts carry the manufacturer's warranty. On the Managed plans, same-day response includes coming to the building when it needs hands.

Is private AI as good as ChatGPT?

No, and that's not the point. The models that run on a box in your office are smaller than the biggest public ones. They're very good at summarizing, drafting, and answering questions from your own documents, and they do it without a single page leaving the building. For client files, patient records and contracts, that's the trade most firms want.

We're a medical or dental practice. Does this help with HIPAA?

The equipment side of it, yes: encrypted drives, access by role, logs of who touched what, and encrypted off-site backups that can't be altered. We put exactly what we set up in writing for your compliance file. Your policies, training and agreements are the rest of it, and we're not a substitute for your compliance officer.

Where do you install?

Across the Grand Strand, included. Charleston, Columbia and Charlotte with travel. Anywhere else, we burn it in and set it up here, ship it configured, and finish over a remote session.

Can you manage a server we already have?

Usually. We start with an assessment of what's on it and how it's backed up, fix what's dangerous, then put it on the Watched or Managed plan like one we built.
