  • Jul 28, 2026gopacket provides packet processing capabilities for Go.CVE-2026-54345 · Other software · gopacket · reported by GitHubMedium 6.9

gopacket provides packet processing capabilities for Go. In version 1.6.0 and earlier, the Diameter AVP decoder computes an AVP data length by subtracting a fixed header size from an attacker-controlled AVP Length field, so a vendor-flagged AVP whose Length is smaller than the 12-byte header underflows the unsigned 32-bit value and drives an unbounded allocation of roughly 4 GiB, and two such messages in succession OOM-kill a collector, causing an unauthenticated remote denial of service. This issue is fixed in version 1.6.1.

gopacket provides packet processing capabilities for Go. In version 1.6.0 and earlier, the sFlow ExtendedGatewayFlow decoder in layers/sflow.go reads an attacker-controlled 32-bit community count and AS path member count and sizes a slice allocation from those counts without bounding them against the bytes remaining in the datagram, so a 104-byte UDP datagram can drive an allocation of up to 16 GiB and cause an unauthenticated remote denial of service. • Jul 26, 2026NoteGen before 0.32.0 grants the Tauri shell plugin shell:allow-execute capability for bash, python, and python3 with arbitrary arguments in the default desktopCVE-2026-17497 · Other software · codexu · reported by reefs@jfrog.comHigh 8.3

NoteGen before 0.32.0 grants the Tauri shell plugin shell:allow-execute capability for bash, python, and python3 with arbitrary arguments in the default desktop capabilities. JavaScript running in the application webview can therefore invoke plugin:shell|execute to run attacker-controlled operating system commands with the privileges of the NoteGen process. In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: fs/ntfs3: validate Dirty Page Table capacity in log_replay copy_lcns In the analysis pass of $LogFile journal replay, log_replay() copies LCNs from each action log record into an existing Dirty Page Table (DPT) entry without bounding the destination index. A crafted NTFS image with DPT entry lcns_follow=1 and an action log record with lcns_follow=2 produces a kernel slab out-of-bounds write at mount time: BUG: KASAN: slab-out-of-bounds in log_replay+0x654c/0xdb60 Write of size 8 at addr ffff8880095e1040 by task mount Two attacker-controlled fields can drive j+i past the allocated page_lcns[] array: 1. dp->lcns_follow (capacity) can be smaller than lrh->lcns_follow. 2. lrh->target_vcn may be smaller than dp->vcn, making the u64 subtraction wrap to a huge size_t. Validate target VCN delta and per-record LCN count against the DPT entry capacity, bail via the existing out: cleanup label with -EINVAL. This mirrors the bounds-check pattern added in commit b2bc7c44ed17 ("fs/ntfs3: Fix slab-out-of-bounds read in DeleteIndexEntryRoot") and commit 0ca0485e4b2e ("fs/ntfs3: validate rec->used in journal-rep

  • Jul 21, 2026A local privilege escalation vulnerability exists in snap-confine, a set-capabilities core component used internally by Canonical snapd to construct the secure CVE-2026-8933 · Other software · Canonical · reported by security@ubuntu.comHigh 7.8

A local privilege escalation vulnerability exists in snap-confine, a set-capabilities core component used internally by Canonical snapd to construct the secure execution environment for snap applications. This vulnerability uniquely affects versions of snap-confine configured with set-capabilities (rather than standard set-uid-root installations). Due to a flaw in how privilege boundaries or security sandboxes are initialized when the binary runs under limited ambient capabilities, a local, unprivileged attacker can exploit this behavior to bypass intended restrictions and execute arbitrary code. Successful exploitation allows the local user to elevate their privileges to full root authority.

Serena is a powerful MCP toolkit for coding that provides semantic retrieval and editing capabilities. Prior to v1.5.2, Serena's built-in web dashboard exposes an unauthenticated Flask API on a fixed, predictable port, with no authentication, no CSRF protection, and no Host header validation. A DNS rebinding attack allows a malicious webpage to reach this API from any browser and write arbitrary content to the agent's persistent memory store, which the agent reads and acts on autonomously. Combined with execute_shell_command using shell=True, this creates a remote code execution chain requiring only that the victim visit a malicious webpage while Serena is running. This issue is fixed in version v1.5.2.

  • Jul 1, 2026Jodit Editor is a WYSIWYG editor with written in pure TypeScript file and image editing capabilities.CVE-2026-55886 · Other software · xdan · reported by GitHubMedium 6.3

Jodit Editor is a WYSIWYG editor with written in pure TypeScript file and image editing capabilities. Versions prior to 4.12.26 are vulnerable to Prototype Pollution through Jodit.modules.Helpers.set(chain, value, obj), which walks the dot-separated chain, creating and following each path segment without filtering prototype-mutating keys. A chain that begins with (or contains) __proto__, constructor, or prototype lets the final assignment reach and mutate Object.prototype. Applications that pass a user-controlled or partially user-controlled key path into Jodit.modules.Helpers.set() could be vulnerable, causing unexpected property injection, logic bypass, denial of service, or secondary security issues. In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: audit: fix incorrect inheritable capability in CAPSET records __audit_log_capset() records the effective capability set into the inheritable field due to a copy-paste error. Every CAPSET audit record therefore reports cap_pi (process inheritable) with the value of cap_effective instead of cap_inheritable. This silently corrupts audit data used for compliance and forensic analysis: an attacker who modifies inheritable capabilities to prepare for a privilege-escalating exec would have the change masked in the audit trail. The bug has been present since the original introduction of CAPSET audit records in 2008.

  • Jun 5, 2026Termix is a web-based server management platform with SSH terminal, tunneling, and file editing capabilities.CVE-2026-45750 · Other software · Termix-SSH · reported by GitHubCritical 9

Termix is a web-based server management platform with SSH terminal, tunneling, and file editing capabilities. Prior to version 2.3.2, the GET /ssh/file_manager/ssh/resolvePath endpoint in the Termix File Manager component unsafely processes the path parameter and embeds it into a shell command executed over the active SSH session. Because the user-controlled value is placed inside double quotes and only double quotes are escaped, shell command substitution syntax such as $(...) is still interpreted by the remote shell. Version 2.3.2 fixes the issue.

  • Jun 5, 2026Termix is a web-based server management platform with SSH terminal, tunneling, and file editing capabilities.CVE-2026-45749 · Other software · Termix-SSH · reported by GitHubHigh 8.1

Termix is a web-based server management platform with SSH terminal, tunneling, and file editing capabilities. The `POST /users/totp/disable` and `POST /users/totp/backup-codes` endpoints in Termix prior to version 2.3.2 accept the account password as a sole authentication factor for MFA-critical operations. An attacker who obtains a user's password (phishing, credential stuffing, the passwordHash leak in GHSA-xxxx) can disable TOTP entirely or regenerate backup codes, without ever possessing the TOTP device or knowing a valid TOTP code. This renders two-factor authentication ineffective. Version 2.3.2 patches the issue.

Termix is a web-based server management platform with SSH terminal, tunneling, and file editing capabilities. The `POST /ssh/tunnel/connect` endpoint in Termix prior to version 2.3.2 builds an SSH tunnel command by interpolating user-controlled host record fields (`endpointIP`, `endpointUsername`, `password`) directly into a shell command without escaping, allowing persistent OS command injection on the source SSH host. Version 2.3.2 patches the issue.
