The Events Manager WordPress plugin before 7.3.7 does not safely handle booking-registration data on sites using No-User-Account Booking Mode: a booker-supplied registration field is stored as booking meta and later deserialized without restricting allowed classes, enabling PHP object injection. • May 28, 2026WP Contact Form 7 DB Handler: Cross-Site Request Forgery leading to Arbitrary File DeletionCVE-2026-6455 · WordPress plugins & themes · reported by WordfenceHigh 8.1

The WP Contact Form 7 DB Handler plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to Cross-Site Request Forgery leading to Arbitrary File Deletion via SQL Injection and PHP Object Injection in versions up to and including 3.0. This is due to a missing nonce verification in the process_bulk_action() function, the nonce check is only executed when _wpnonce is present in the POST body, allowing it to be trivially bypassed by omitting the field, combined with the use of an unsanitized, unparameterized user-supplied value in a numeric SQL context (WHERE ID = $ID) and the unsafe deserialization of the query result's post_content field. An attacker can craft a CSRF page that tricks a logged-in administrator into triggering a UNION-based SQL injection payload (using CHAR() to avoid esc_sql quote-escaping) that returns a malicious serialized PHP array as post_content; upon deserialization, array values associated with keys containing 'ys_cfdbh_file' are used as file paths appended to the uploads directory path without any path traversal validation, and then passed to wp_delete_file(), allowing the attacker to delete arbitrary files on the server (e.g., wp-config.php, system files).

  • Feb 19, 2026The Buyent Classified plugin for WordPress (bundled with Buyent theme) is vulnerable to privilege escalation via user registration in all versions up to, and inCVE-2025-13851 · WordPress plugins & themes · reported by WordfenceCritical 9.8

The Buyent Classified plugin for WordPress (bundled with Buyent theme) is vulnerable to privilege escalation via user registration in all versions up to, and including, 1.0.7. This is due to the plugin not validating or restricting the user role during registration via the REST API endpoint. This makes it possible for unauthenticated attackers to register accounts with arbitrary roles, including administrator, by manipulating the _buyent_classified_user_type parameter during the registration process, granting them complete control over the WordPress site.

  • Feb 18, 2026SiteOrigin Widgets Bundle: Unauthorized arbitrary shortcode executionCVE-2026-2127 · WordPress plugins & themes · reported by WordfenceMedium 5.4

The SiteOrigin Widgets Bundle plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to unauthorized arbitrary shortcode execution in all versions up to, and including, 1.70.4. This is due to a missing capability check on the `siteorigin_widget_preview_widget_action()` function which is registered via the `wp_ajax_so_widgets_preview` AJAX action. The function only verifies a nonce (`widgets_action`) but does not check user capabilities. This makes it possible for authenticated attackers, with Subscriber-level access and above, to execute arbitrary shortcodes by invoking the `SiteOrigin_Widget_Editor_Widget` via the preview endpoint. The required nonce is exposed on the public frontend when the Post Carousel widget is present on a page, embedded in the `data-ajax-url` HTML attribute.

Omni Secure Files plugin versions prior to 0.1.14 contain an arbitrary file upload vulnerability in the bundled plupload example endpoint. The /wp-content/plugins/omni-secure-files/plupload/examples/upload.php handler allows unauthenticated uploads without enforcing safe file type restrictions, enabling an attacker to place attacker-controlled files under the plugin's uploads directory.
