Pierpoint Events
An AVL, DJ, photobooth and rentals company's site, rebuilt from scratch: rentals you can book and pay for online, a page for every venue they've worked, and readable in two seconds on one bar of signal.

What had to be true.
Pierpoint Events runs production AVL, DJs, photobooths and equipment rentals out of Murrells Inlet, and it's where our founder books and DJs, so this brief came from inside the booth. The old site was a page builder template that hid everything behind a black loading screen for about 40 seconds on one bar of signal, which is exactly what a couple has at a venue walkthrough. The new one had to keep everything the business already ran on: rental checkout with card payments and sales tax, the crew's photobooth galleries, every past contact message and every login. And it had to bring in more bookings from Google.

The work, piece by piece.
Designed and built from scratch
No page builder and no template. Light and dark modes that follow the phone, a menu built for a thumb, and real event photos everywhere, sent at the size each screen actually needs.
Rentals you can book and pay for
43 rentals with written descriptions and day rates, checkout by card or Cash App, and South Carolina and county sales tax worked out from the address, all through the payment account the business already had.
A page for every room they've played
41 venue pages, each linking the venue's own site, six service-area pages and nine planning guides, written around what people search before they book.
Fast on one bar of signal
The home page went from 7.3 MB to under 0.7 MB and from 133 files to 34. The headline and the date check paint first and the photos follow, with nothing jumping around while they load. Google's mobile performance score went from 50 to 85, and accessibility, best practices and search all read 100.
Wedding inquiries go straight into Cue
The wedding page opens Cue, the planning platform we build, so a couple who books lands in the tool they'll plan their day with.
Locked down
A private sign-in with lockouts, a strict security policy, and nothing in the page source that says what the site runs on.
A switch, with nothing left behind
Every login, past contact message, form entry, photobooth album and tax rate came across intact. All 160 addresses from the old site, down to its old category archives and gallery links, land on the right page, so nothing Google or a customer had saved broke. The old site stays one setting away as a fallback.
Desktop and phone.
What's inside: a custom design, online rentals with card payments and sales tax, venue, area and guide pages, local SEO and structured data, photobooth galleries, a security policy and a private sign-in, a move that kept every record.
