Dragonfly through 2.0.2 contains an unbounded memory allocation vulnerability that allows unauthenticated clients to exhaust memory by passing a negative COUNT to HRANDFIELD, ZRANDMEMBER or SRANDMEMBER. Attackers can send a single command against a one-element key with a huge negative COUNT to trigger the OOM killer, terminating the instance for all clients.

  • Oct 13, 2026Dragonfly is an in-memory data store built for modern application workloads.CVE-2026-104192 · Other software · dragonflydb · reported by GitHubCritical 9.6

Dragonfly is an in-memory data store built for modern application workloads. Prior to 1.40, OpaqueObjLoader::CreateStream in src/server/rdb_load.cc can associate one streamNACK with a consumer group's global PEL and a consumer-local PEL, then free the shared object when a duplicate consumer entry is rejected. Cleanup subsequently frees the same object again. In the default configuration, where Dragonfly ships with authentication disabled, an unauthenticated client can trigger the double-free by sending a crafted serialized stream to RESTORE, causing allocator corruption, denial of service, and potentially attacker-controlled code execution as the Dragonfly service account. The source fix has not yet been mapped to a published release.

MobilityDB version 1.3.0 and earlier contains an out-of-bounds read vulnerability in the MEOS binary and library WKB deserialization logic that allows unprivileged database users to crash the PostgreSQL backend process by supplying a crafted WKB payload with a negative length field. The negative length value wraps to a large unsigned size_t due to missing signed validation, bypasses an overflow-unsafe pointer arithmetic bounds check in wkb_parse_state_check(), and causes memcpy() in text_from_wkb_state() to operate with a corrupted unbounded length, resulting in a remote denial-of-service condition affecting all sessions on the PostgreSQL instance.

  • Aug 18, 2026Dragonfly is an in-memory data store built for modern application workloads.CVE-2026-62357 · Other software · dragonflydb · reported by GitHubHigh 8.8

Dragonfly is an in-memory data store built for modern application workloads. Prior to 1.40.0, CMS.INITBYDIM and CMS.INITBYPROB accept dimensions whose width times depth times sizeof(int64_t) overflows in src/core/cms.cc, allocating an undersized counter buffer while CMS.INCRBY and CMS.QUERY use the unbounded dimensions, which allows an unauthenticated remote client to corrupt or disclose adjacent heap memory and crash the server. This issue is fixed in version 1.40.0.

  • Jun 26, 2026Dragonfly is an in-memory data store built for modern application workloads.CVE-2026-54341 · Other software · dragonflydb · reported by GitHubHigh 7.5

Dragonfly is an in-memory data store built for modern application workloads. Prior to 1.39.0, a crafted RESTORE payload triggers an out-of-bounds read in DragonflyDB's listpack collection loaders, crashing the entire server process (SIGSEGV). Because DragonflyDB requires no authentication by default and RESTORE is a normal keyspace command, an unauthenticated remote attacker can crash the server with a single ~24-byte command — a remote, repeatable denial of service. This vulnerability is fixed in 1.39.0.

Dragonfly is an in-memory data store built for modern application workloads. Prior to 1.39.9, Dragonfly has a RESP Protocol Injection via Lua redis.error_reply() in EvalSerializer. An authenticated user can inject arbitrary RESP messages into the connection's response stream, potentially causing response desynchronization in connection-pool clients. This vulnerability is fixed in 1.39.9.

Prior to 2025-11-03, well-intended users of Terraform or REST API for Google Cloud AlloyDB for PostgreSQL could have created clusters with an insecure default password which could have been exploited by a remote attacker to gain full administrative access to the database. • Oct 19, 2023ydb-go-sdk is a pure Go native and database/sql driver for the YDB platform.CVE-2023-45825 · Other software · ydb-platform · reported by GitHubMedium 5.5

ydb-go-sdk is a pure Go native and database/sql driver for the YDB platform. Since ydb-go-sdk v3.48.6 if you use a custom credentials object (implementation of interface Credentials it may leak into logs. This happens because this object could be serialized into an error message using `fmt.Errorf("something went wrong (credentials: %q)", credentials)` during connection to the YDB server. If such logging occurred, a malicious user with access to logs could read sensitive information (i.e. credentials) information and use it to get access to the database. ydb-go-sdk contains this problem in versions from v3.48.6 to v3.53.2. The fix for this problem has been released in version v3.53.3. Users are advised to upgrade. Users unable to upgrade should implement the `fmt.Stringer` interface in your custom credentials type with explicit stringify of object state.

  • Feb 17, 2020taffydb npm module, vulnerable in all versions up to and including 2.7.3, allows attackers to forge adding additional properties into user-input processed by taCVE-2019-10790 · Other software · Taffydb · reported by report@snyk.ioHigh 7.5

taffydb npm module, vulnerable in all versions up to and including 2.7.3, allows attackers to forge adding additional properties into user-input processed by taffy which can allow access to any data items in the DB. taffy sets an internal index for each data item in its DB. However, it is found that the internal index can be forged by adding additional properties into user-input. If index is found in the query, taffyDB will ignore other query conditions and directly return the indexed data item. Moreover, the internal index is in an easily-guessable format (e.g., T000002R000001). As such, attackers can use this vulnerability to access any data items in the DB.
