Fclairamb ftpserverlib through 0.32.4 contains a cleartext transmission vulnerability because TransferOpen checks only the transferTLS flag set by PROT, not whether the prepared data connection uses TLS. When a client sends PROT P after PASV or PORT, file contents and directory listings cross the network unencrypted, even with mandatory encryption, letting on-path attackers read or modify them.

In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: drm/imagination: Fix reference and vm_bo handling in remap() When a map overlaps part of an existing mapping, pvr_vm_gpuva_remap() splits the mapping into prev/next parts covering what the request did not take, instead of creating something new. Oct 19, 2026Cpanel::JSON::XS versions from 3.0202 before 4.80 for Perl leak memory and retain overloaded objects when encoding values as strings in encode_stringify.CVE-2026-110684 · Websites & servers · reported by 9b29abf9-4ab0-4765-b253-1875cd9b441e
Cpanel::JSON::XS versions from 3.0202 before 4.80 for Perl leak memory and retain overloaded objects when encoding values as strings in encode_stringify. encode_stringify writes a value in its string form under allow_stringify, under convert_blessed for objects without TO_JSON, and under allow_bignum. For an array or hash object with a "" overload, and from 4.20 a scalar object, it takes an extra reference that is never released, so the object and everything it references are never freed. From 4.10 it also never frees its copy of the string. Repeatedly encoding data that contains such values grows process memory without bound.

Oct 18, 2026In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: kprobes: Skip disarmed probes when checking optkprobe overlap On x86, an optkprobe at A reCVE-2026-98856 · Computers, phones & browsers · Linux · reported by 416baaa9-dc9f-4396-8d5f-8c081fb06d67
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: kprobes: Skip disarmed probes when checking optkprobe overlap On x86, an optkprobe at A replaces five bytes with a jump. If a disabled probe B is at A+2, get_optimized_kprobe() stops at B when arming a new probe C at A+4. It leaves A optimized: A A+1 A+2 A+3 A+4 A's jump | e9 | d0 | d1 | d2 | d3 | after C | e9 | d0 | d1 | d2 | cc | The INT3 for C overwrites the last byte of A's jump displacement, so execution can jump to the wrong address. B can have prepared optinsns while disarmed, but has no jump to unoptimize. Continue past disarmed and unprepared probes to find the active optimized probe before arming a probe in its jump.

Oct 18, 2026In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: of/overlay: put property on deadprops only after changeset add succeeds add_changeset_propCVE-2026-98855 · Computers, phones & browsers · Linux · reported by 416baaa9-dc9f-4396-8d5f-8c081fb06d67
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: of/overlay: put property on deadprops only after changeset add succeeds add_changeset_property() links a new property of a not-yet-live target node into the node's deadprops list before handing it to of_changeset_add_property(). If that fails, the error path frees the property but leaves the freed pointer linked in deadprops, and of_node_release() frees it a second time when the aborted overlay's node is released. Record the changeset entry first and link the property into deadprops only on success. of_changeset_add_property() never looks at the node's property lists, so the order of the two steps is otherwise immaterial, and the error path frees a property that nothing references.

Oct 18, 2026In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: of/overlay: only treat a positive changeset id as registered of_overlay_fdt_apply() storesCVE-2026-98854 · Computers, phones & browsers · Linux · reported by 416baaa9-dc9f-4396-8d5f-8c081fb06d67
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: of/overlay: only treat a positive changeset id as registered of_overlay_fdt_apply() stores the idr_alloc() return value in ovcs->id before checking it. On failure the stored id is negative, free_overlay_changeset()'s "if (ovcs->id)" check passes, idr_remove() is called with a negative id and list_del() runs on ovcs->ovcs_list, which is not initialized until after the id allocation. An allocation failure at that point dereferences NULL. Make free_overlay_changeset() treat only a strict-positive id as registered. The rest of the function already copes with a partially-initialized ovcs, so the error path stays a plain goto err_free_ovcs.

Oct 18, 2026In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: of/overlay: don't leak fragment references when changeset init fails init_overlay_changeseCVE-2026-98831 · Computers, phones & browsers · Linux · reported by 416baaa9-dc9f-4396-8d5f-8c081fb06d67
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: of/overlay: don't leak fragment references when changeset init fails init_overlay_changeset() stores the number of initialized fragments in ovcs->count only on full success. When find_target() or the __symbols__ lookup fails partway through, the target and overlay references taken for the fragments initialized so far are never dropped: free_overlay_changeset() bounds its cleanup loop by ovcs->count, which is still 0. Store the running count on the error path so free_overlay_changeset() puts whatever was set up. The store is guarded by ovcs->fragments because on the allocation-failure path cnt still holds the counting pass total while there is no fragments array; everywhere else cnt only counts fully-initialized fragments.

Due to a DOM-Based Cross-Site Scripting (XSS) vulnerability, an unauthenticated attacker could generate a malicious link and make it publicly accessible. If an authenticated user accesses this link, client-side code reads the attacker-controlled input and writes it into the DOM without proper sanitization, causing attacker-supplied script to execute in the victims browser context. This could allow the attacker to access or modify information within the victims browser scope, impacting confidentiality and integrity, while availability remains unaffected.

Net::IDN::UTS46 versions before 2.590 for Perl allow CPU exhaustion via quadratic punycode encoding of an overlong label before the length check in to_ascii. to_ascii punycode encodes each label and only then applies the 63-byte DNS limit. encode_punycode in both backends follows the sample implementation in RFC 3492, whose outer loop runs once per distinct non-ASCII code point and scans the whole input each round, so a label of distinct non-ASCII characters costs the square of its length before the limit rejects it. Every ASCII conversion in the distribution, including domain_to_ascii and email_to_ascii, goes through to_ascii.

Sep 17, 2026In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: drm/panthor: Add vm_bind region with kbo range overlap check When a VM is created, caller CVE-2026-90409 · Computers, phones & browsers · Linux · reported by 416baaa9-dc9f-4396-8d5f-8c081fb06d67
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: drm/panthor: Add vm_bind region with kbo range overlap check When a VM is created, caller has to specify the range of the address space carve-out set aside for mapping kernel BO's. That means vm_bind mappings of UM-exposed BO's should not intersect with that region, but at the moment we're not checking this. At first, I thought of giving these values to drm_gpuvm_init() through its reserve_{offset, range} arguments, but it turns out that is meant for VM address spans that are not managed through the usual drm_gpuvm split/merge circuit, so storing the end of the user VA range at VM creation time and doing a quick check in the vm_bind ioctl path was the simplest workaround. The new check also makes sure vm_bind range doesn't overflow the size of a 64-bit unsigned integer. That was already being done further down the call stack inside drm_gpuvm_sm_map -> drm_gpuvm_range_valid, but it's best to fail early in the driver before GPUVM functions are invoked so that we won't waste time allocating vm_bind context resources.

In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: fbdev: kyro: Validate overlay viewport coordinates The overlay viewport end coordinates are computed from the viewport origin and dimensions using 32-bit unsigned arithmetic. Large input values can cause these calculations to wrap around before the resulting coordinates are passed to SetOverlayViewPort(). SetOverlayViewPort() packs the viewport coordinates into 16-bit register fields. The X coordinates are additionally adjusted by +2 and +1 before being written. Validate the coordinate calculations for 32-bit wraparound and ensure that the adjusted coordinates fit within their 16-bit register fields before calling SetOverlayViewPort(). Where this comes from: the exploited list is CISA’s Known Exploited Vulnerabilities catalog. Everything else is the whole National Vulnerability Database, where each record is published by the team that found the bug (Wordfence, Patchstack, WPScan, the vendors themselves and others); we show who. Exploit odds are FIRST’s EPSS, updated daily. Titles and categories are ours, so check the linked record before acting on a detail. For a write-up of the big ones, see our advisories. Every vendor, and every WordPress plugin and theme with a recorded flaw, also has its own page. All of it is free to reuse as JSON, CSV or RSS.
