Oct 23, 2026VLC for Android before 3.7.2 contains a confused-deputy file overwrite vulnerability in FileUtils.getUri() that trusts content URIs based only on the com.fsck.kCVE-2026-115724 · Other software · VideoLAN · reported by VulnCheckLow 2.1
VLC for Android before 3.7.2 contains a confused-deputy file overwrite vulnerability in FileUtils.getUri() that trusts content URIs based only on the com.fsck.k9.attachmentprovider or gmail-ls authority. A co-installed app without permissions can declare these authorities and send a crafted VIEW intent to the exported StartActivity, making VLC write attacker-chosen content under an attacker-chosen name in the shared Download directory, overwriting other apps' files when VLC holds All files access.

Roundcube Webmail before 1.6.20 and 1.7.x before 1.7.5 is affected by an uncontrolled resource consumption vulnerability in the CSS proxy (the utils/modcss action). The fetched stylesheet was read into memory in full, with no size limit and no read timeout, so a stylesheet URL referencing an attacker-controlled host could be used to exhaust server memory. Upstream fixed this in the commit “Add a size limit to the CSS proxy content processing”, which caps the response at 5 MB, reads it as a stream and applies a read timeout.

Oct 19, 2026MobaXterm Personal Edition (Portable) 26.4 GA extracts the CygUtils64.plugin file without first verifying its integrity.CVE-2026-112161 · Other software · Mobatek · reported by cve-coordination@incibe.esHigh 8.5
MobaXterm Personal Edition (Portable) 26.4 GA extracts the CygUtils64.plugin file without first verifying its integrity. A local attacker with write permissions on this file can replace the ‘bin/cygwin1.dll’ library contained within it with a malicious library. When the victim opens a Local Shell session or uses a Cygwin-based function, the application extracts the component and loads the tampered library, executing code with the victim’s permissions. Exploitation requires write access to the plugin and does not, in itself, involve privilege escalation.

在 openGauss-server的 src/common/backend/utils/adt/genfile.cpp 模块中,内置函数 pg_read_binary_file_blocks() 存在权限校验逻辑缺陷。

Oct 18, 2026在 openGauss-server 的 src/gausskernel/cbb/utils/hll/hll.cpp 中,内置函数 HllObjectUnpack() 存在长度校验缺陷。 HLL_HEAD_SCVE-2026-111441 · Other software · openGauss-server · reported by a1a479f7-907b-4ae8-a999-9148cadc9224High 8.1
在 openGauss-server 的 src/gausskernel/cbb/utils/hll/hll.cpp 中,内置函数 HllObjectUnpack() 存在长度校验缺陷。 hll_in()、hll_print()、hll_cardinality() 等 SQL 入口会走同一解包路径。 此问题随 packed HLL 解包函数 HllObjectUnpack() 进入代码,v2.1.0 起即存在。

Oct 16, 2026A flaw was found in nfs-utils.CVE-2026-89098 · Other software · Red Hat · reported by Red HatMedium 5.5
A flaw was found in nfs-utils. The fsidd daemon improperly handles input received over its local domain socket by relying on program assertions to verify command arguments. A local user can exploit this vulnerability by sending a malformed request lacking the required arguments to trigger an assertion failure. This causes the daemon to crash, resulting in a Denial of Service (DoS) for filesystem identifier lookup services until restarted.

Oct 10, 2026ExtUtils::Typemaps::STL::String versions before 1.06 for Perl T_STD_STRING typemap may read the SV length before stringifying the argument.CVE-2026-107373 · Other software · reported by 9b29abf9-4ab0-4765-b253-1875cd9b441eCritical 9.1
ExtUtils::Typemaps::STL::String versions before 1.06 for Perl T_STD_STRING typemap may read the SV length before stringifying the argument. The typemap uses $var = std::string( SvPV_nolen($arg), SvCUR($arg) ) However, evaluation order for C++ arguments is not specified, and some compilers may produce code that evalutes SvCUR($arg) first. When $arg is not a string (for example, an interger, number or a reference) then SvCUR will return an invalid value, and the program may abort or segfault.

Oct 9, 2026CompressionUtils.inflate() decompressed attacker-controlled DEFLATE data with no output-size cap.CVE-2026-78384 · Websites & servers · Apache Software Foundation · reported by security@apache.orgHigh 7.5
CompressionUtils.inflate() decompressed attacker-controlled DEFLATE data with no output-size cap. A small (~KB) crafted payload could expand to gigabytes on the heap. Reachable via JWE decryption when zip=DEF (e.g. JoseSessionTokenProvider with RSA-OAEP key wrap) and via SAML redirect/POST binding token inflation — in both cases decompression happens before/independent of trust validation. Fix: Added a configurable maximum inflated-size cap (default 10 MiB, org.apache.cxf.compression-max-inflated-size system property) to CompressionUtils.inflate(); aborts with DataFormatException once exceeded. Users are recommended to upgrade to versions 4.2.4 or 4.1.9 or 3.6.13, which fix this issue.

Oct 9, 2026By default, StaxUtils placed no limit on the total number of elements or the total number of characters in an XML document.CVE-2026-108039 · Websites & servers · Apache Software Foundation · reported by security@apache.orgHigh 7.5
By default, StaxUtils placed no limit on the total number of elements or the total number of characters in an XML document. A very large request could therefore use a lot of memory and CPU during parsing, especially where CXF builds a DOM from the input (for example SAAJ or WS-Security), and could cause a denial of service when no request size limit was configured. Both limits now have defaults: the maximum element count is 100 × maxChildElements (5,000,000 by default), and the maximum document size is 256M characters. Applications that process larger documents can raise the limits with the org.apache.cxf.stax.maxElementCount and org.apache.cxf.stax.maxXMLCharacters properties. Users are recommended to upgrade to versions 4.2.4 or 4.1.9 or 3.6.13, which fix this issue.

An integer underflow in WinCursorShapeUtils::trimTransparent() in GlavSoft TightVNC Server for Windows before 2.8.88 allows a local authenticated user to crash the server, and potentially read out-of-bounds memory, by causing a cursor shape with a width or height of zero to be processed on the DXGI capture path. In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: s390/percpu: Fix MVIY_PERCPU() with older binutils Commit a737737cdb9c ("s390/percpu: Infrastructure for more efficient this_cpu operations") introduced MVIY_PERCPU(), which stringifies arguments that are already C string literals. This generates an assembler macro invocation with whitespace-separated quoted arguments: GEN_MVIY "459712" "%r3" GNU as versions prior to binutils 2.39 drop the separating whitespace between quoted macro arguments during input scrubbing. They consequently parse the invocation as a single argument and emit repeated warnings: Warning: missing closing `"' The .ifc in GEN_MVIY never matches and GNU as exits successfully without emitting the mviy instruction. As a result, the interrupted per-CPU sequence is not marked in lowcore and the exception return path cannot repair the per-CPU address register after migration. All MVIY_PERCPU() callers pass C string literals. Use them directly and separate the assembler macro arguments with an explicit comma. The resulting invocation is: GEN_MVIY 459712, %r3 This form is unambiguous for GNU as and LLVM's integrated assembler. This behavi

Sep 10, 2026In OpenPanel through 2.3.0, the data importer fetches a caller-supplied URL with plain fetch instead of the project's existing SSRF guard (apps/api/src/utils/saCVE-2026-88892 · Other software · Openpanel-dev · reported by VulnCheckMedium 5.3
In OpenPanel through 2.3.0, the data importer fetches a caller-supplied URL with plain fetch instead of the project's existing SSRF guard (apps/api/src/utils/safe-fetch.ts). In packages/importer/src/providers/umami.ts, parseRemoteFile calls fetch() on config.fileUrl, which is validated only by z.string().url(), so values such as http://127.0.0.1:9911/ or http://169.254.169.254/latest/meta-data/ are accepted; the shared createFileImportConfig factory gives the plausible provider the same field. An authenticated organization member — including a default 'member' with no project_access rows, for whom the intended access-level check is skipped because getProjectAccess returns boolean true rather than a level object — can therefore make the server connect to any address reachable from it. The resulting HTTP status and status text are persisted as Import.errorMessage and returned by import.get to the same user, providing a scanning oracle for internal hosts, ports and paths; if an internal response parses as Umami CSV, its rows are ingested as events and become readable in the attacker's analytics views.

Where this comes from: the exploited list is CISA’s Known Exploited Vulnerabilities catalog. Everything else is the whole National Vulnerability Database, where each record is published by the team that found the bug (Wordfence, Patchstack, WPScan, the vendors themselves and others); we show who. Exploit odds are FIRST’s EPSS, updated daily. Titles and categories are ours, so check the linked record before acting on a detail. For a write-up of the big ones, see our advisories.
