  • Oct 6, 2026In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: net: lock the socket in sock_gettstamp() sk->sk_flags must only be changed while holding tCVE-2026-98276 · Computers, phones & browsers · Linux · reported by 416baaa9-dc9f-4396-8d5f-8c081fb06d67High 7.8

In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: net: lock the socket in sock_gettstamp() sk->sk_flags must only be changed while holding the socket lock, because sock_set_flag() and sock_reset_flag() use non atomic operations (__set_bit() and __clear_bit()). sock_gettstamp() is one of the last places where a bit of sk->sk_flags is changed from a syscall without owning the socket lock, through sock_enable_timestamp(sk, SOCK_TIMESTAMP). sk_set_memalloc() and sk_clear_memalloc() also change sk->sk_flags without the socket lock, but their callers (nbd, iscsi_tcp, nvme-tcp, sunrpc, wireguard) need a careful audit, this will be addressed in a separate patch. Jungwoo Lee and Wongi Lee reported an UDP socket use-after-free caused by this bug: a SIOCGSTAMPNS_NEW ioctl racing with bind() can cancel the SOCK_RCU_FREE bit that udp_lib_get_port() just set, because both threads perform a read-modify-write on the same word. • Oct 2, 2026GSpeech TTS – WordPress Text To Speech: Stored Cross-Site ScriptingCVE-2026-96578 · WordPress plugins & themes · reported by WordfenceHigh 7.2

The GSpeech TTS – WordPress Text To Speech Plugin plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to Stored Cross-Site Scripting via Comment Content in all versions up to, and including, 3.22.0 due to insufficient input sanitization and output escaping. This makes it possible for unauthenticated attackers to inject arbitrary web scripts in pages that will execute whenever a user accesses an injected page. This mXSS-style transform bypasses WordPress comment kses sanitization because the payload is stored using only kses-allowed tags and attributes; the malicious event handlers and style fragments become active only when the plugin's output-buffer callback rewrites the rendered HTML at request time.

  • Sep 15, 2026`tts-be` is a backend for a timetable selector that aims to help students better choose their class schedules.CVE-2026-88065 · Other software · NIAEFEUP · reported by GitHubHigh 7.5

`tts-be` is a backend for a timetable selector that aims to help students better choose their class schedules. Versions prior to 2.1.0 have a Broken Access Control vulnerability across several API endpoints (such as `/api/student/{id}/photo` and `/api/course_unit/{id}/exchange/metadata`). By chaining these unauthenticated endpoints, a remote attacker can use the backend as an open proxy to bypass authorization checks, allowing for the enumeration and extraction of sensitive Personally Identifiable Information (PII) from upstream university systems. The exposed data includes full names, student IDs, class schedules, and photos. This issue was fixed in version 2.1.0.

Expat through 2.8.3 contains a denial of service vulnerability caused by quadratic algorithmic complexity in the storeAtts() function in xmlparse.c, where processing N specified attributes with non-normalized values triggers an O(N^2) linear scan of elementType->defaultAtts to determine CDATA status. A remote unauthenticated attacker can supply a single well-formed XML document of a few megabytes to an application parsing untrusted XML to cause excessive CPU consumption, resulting in denial of service without requiring authentication, external entity resolution, or non-default parser options.

  • Aug 13, 2026FreePBX is an open source IP PBX.CVE-2026-73660 · Other software · FreePBX · reported by GitHubHigh 7.5

FreePBX is an open source IP PBX. Prior to 16.0.6 and 17.0.5.4, the FreePBX Text-To-Speech module allows an authenticated administrator to save a TTS destination name that is HTML-encoded for storage, decoded during dialplan generation, passed as an AGI argument, and used to build filenames inside agi-bin/propolys-tts.agi. The TTS destination name reaches a raw shell-command execution path, allowing arbitrary operating-system command execution as the asterisk service user. This issue is fixed in versions 16.0.6 and 17.0.5.4.

  • Jul 30, 2024In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: ice: Fix improper extts handling Extts events are disabled and enabled by the application CVE-2024-42139 · Computers, phones & browsers · Linux · reported by 416baaa9-dc9f-4396-8d5f-8c081fb06d67Medium 5.5

In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: ice: Fix improper extts handling Extts events are disabled and enabled by the application ts2phc. However, in case where the driver is removed when the application is running, a specific extts event remains enabled and can cause a kernel crash. As a side effect, when the driver is reloaded and application is started again, remaining extts event for the channel from a previous run will keep firing and the message "extts on unexpected channel" might be printed to the user. To avoid that, extts events shall be disabled when PTP is released.

  • Jul 30, 2024In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: ice: Don't process extts if PTP is disabled The ice_ptp_extts_event() function can race wiCVE-2024-42107 · Computers, phones & browsers · Linux · reported by 416baaa9-dc9f-4396-8d5f-8c081fb06d67Medium 4.7

In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: ice: Don't process extts if PTP is disabled The ice_ptp_extts_event() function can race with ice_ptp_release() and result in a NULL pointer dereference which leads to a kernel panic. Panic occurs because the ice_ptp_extts_event() function calls ptp_clock_event() with a NULL pointer. The ice driver has already released the PTP clock by the time the interrupt for the next external timestamp event occurs. To fix this, modify the ice_ptp_extts_event() function to check the PTP state and bail early if PTP is not ready.

A path traversal vulnerability exists in the XTTS server included in the lollms package, version v9.6. This vulnerability arises from the ability to perform an unauthenticated root folder settings change. Although the read file endpoint is protected against path traversals, this protection can be bypassed by changing the root folder to '/'. This allows attackers to read arbitrary files on the system. Additionally, the output folders can be changed to write arbitrary audio files to any location on the system.

  • Jun 6, 2024An OS command injection vulnerability exists in the MacOS Text-To-Speech class MacOSTTS of the significant-gravitas/autogpt project, affecting versions up to v0CVE-2024-1880 · Other software · significant-gravitas · reported by security@huntr.devHigh 7.8

An OS command injection vulnerability exists in the MacOS Text-To-Speech class MacOSTTS of the significant-gravitas/autogpt project, affecting versions up to v0.5.0. The vulnerability arises from the improper neutralization of special elements used in an OS command within the `_speech` method of the MacOSTTS class. Specifically, the use of `os.system` to execute the `say` command with user-supplied text allows for arbitrary code execution if an attacker can inject shell commands. This issue is triggered when the AutoGPT instance is run with the `--speak` option enabled and configured with `TEXT_TO_SPEECH_PROVIDER=macos`, reflecting back a shell injection snippet. The impact of this vulnerability is the potential execution of arbitrary code on the instance running AutoGPT. The issue was addressed in version 5.1.0.

  • May 16, 2024A command injection vulnerability exists in the 'run_xtts_api_server' function of the parisneo/lollms-webui application, specifically within the 'lollms_xtts.pyCVE-2024-3126 · Other software · parisneo · reported by security@huntr.devHigh 8.4

A command injection vulnerability exists in the 'run_xtts_api_server' function of the parisneo/lollms-webui application, specifically within the 'lollms_xtts.py' script. The vulnerability arises due to the improper neutralization of special elements used in an OS command. The affected function utilizes 'subprocess.Popen' to execute a command constructed with a Python f-string, without adequately sanitizing the 'xtts_base_url' input. This flaw allows attackers to execute arbitrary commands remotely by manipulating the 'xtts_base_url' parameter. The vulnerability affects versions up to and including the latest version before 9.5. Successful exploitation could lead to arbitrary remote code execution (RCE) on the system where the application is deployed.
