  • May 12, 2026PySyft (Syft Datasite/Server) versions 0.9.5 and earlier are vulnerable to remote code execution due to insufficient validation and sandboxing of user-submittedCVE-2026-31220 · Other software · reported by MITRECritical 9.8

PySyft (Syft Datasite/Server) versions 0.9.5 and earlier are vulnerable to remote code execution due to insufficient validation and sandboxing of user-submitted code. The system allows low-privileged users to submit Python functions (via @sy.syft_function()) for remote execution on the server. While a code approval mechanism exists, the submitted code undergoes no security checks for dangerous operations (e.g., file access, command execution). Once approved, the code is executed within the server process using exec() and eval() functions without proper isolation. A remote attacker can leverage this to execute arbitrary Python code on the server, leading to complete compromise of the server environment.

  • Mar 26, 2026Syft is a a CLI tool and Go library for generating a Software Bill of Materials (SBOM) from container images and filesystems.CVE-2026-33481 · Other software · anchore · reported by GitHubMedium 5.3

Syft is a a CLI tool and Go library for generating a Software Bill of Materials (SBOM) from container images and filesystems. Syft versions before v1.42.3 would not properly cleanup temporary storage if the temporary storage was exhausted during a scan. When scanning archives Syft will unpack those archives into temporary storage then inspect the unpacked contents. Under normal operation Syft will remove the temporary data it writes after completing a scan. This vulnerability would affect users of Syft that were scanning content that could cause Syft to fill the temporary storage that would then cause Syft to raise an error and exit. When the error is triggered Syft would exit without properly removing the temporary files in use. In our testing this was most easily reproduced by scanning very large artifacts or highly compressed artifacts such as a zipbomb. Because Syft would not clean up its temporary files, the result would be filling temporary file storage preventing future runs of Syft or other system utilities that rely on temporary storage being available. The patch has been released in v1.42.3. Syft now cleans up temporary files when an error condition is encountered. There

  • Aug 21, 2025EasyFTP Server 1.7.0.11 and earlier contains a stack-based buffer overflow vulnerability in its HTTP interface.CVE-2010-20113 · Other software · KMiNT21 Software · reported by VulnCheckCritical 9.3

EasyFTP Server 1.7.0.11 and earlier contains a stack-based buffer overflow vulnerability in its HTTP interface. When processing a GET request to list.html, the server fails to properly validate the length of the path parameter. Supplying an excessively long value causes a buffer overflow on the stack, potentially corrupting control flow structures. The vulnerability is exposed through the embedded web server and does not require authentication due to default anonymous access. The issue was resolved in version 1.7.0.12, after which the product was renamed to UplusFtp.

  • Aug 21, 2025EasyFTP Server versions up to 1.7.0.11 contain a stack-based buffer overflow vulnerability in the FTP command parser.CVE-2010-20121 · Other software · KMiNT21 Software · reported by VulnCheckCritical 9.3

EasyFTP Server versions up to 1.7.0.11 contain a stack-based buffer overflow vulnerability in the FTP command parser. When processing the CWD (Change Working Directory) command, the server fails to properly validate the length of the input string, allowing attackers to overwrite memory on the stack. This flaw enables remote code execution without authentication, as EasyFTP allows anonymous access by default. The vulnerability was resolved in version 1.7.0.12, after which the product was renamed “UplusFtp.”

  • Feb 6, 2023syft is a a CLI tool and Go library for generating a Software Bill of Materials (SBOM) from container images and filesystems.CVE-2023-24827 · Other software · anchore · reported by GitHubMedium 6.5

syft is a a CLI tool and Go library for generating a Software Bill of Materials (SBOM) from container images and filesystems. A password disclosure flaw was found in Syft versions v0.69.0 and v0.69.1. This flaw leaks the password stored in the SYFT_ATTEST_PASSWORD environment variable. The `SYFT_ATTEST_PASSWORD` environment variable is for the `syft attest` command to generate attested SBOMs for the given container image. This environment variable is used to decrypt the private key (provided with `syft attest --key <path-to-key-file>`) during the signing process while generating an SBOM attestation. This vulnerability affects users running syft that have the `SYFT_ATTEST_PASSWORD` environment variable set with credentials (regardless of if the attest command is being used or not). Users that do not have the environment variable `SYFT_ATTEST_PASSWORD` set are not affected by this issue. The credentials are leaked in two ways: in the syft logs when `-vv` or `-vvv` are used in the syft command (which is any log level >= `DEBUG`) and in the attestation or SBOM only when the `syft-json` format is used. Note that as of v0.69.0 any generated attestations by the `syft attest` command are

Where this comes from: the exploited list is CISA’s Known Exploited Vulnerabilities catalog. Everything else is the whole National Vulnerability Database, where each record is published by the team that found the bug (Wordfence, Patchstack, WPScan, the vendors themselves and others); we show who. Exploit odds are FIRST’s EPSS, updated daily. Titles and categories are ours, so check the linked record before acting on a detail. For a write-up of the big ones, see our advisories. Every vendor, and every WordPress plugin and theme with a recorded flaw, also has its own page. All of it is free to reuse as JSON, CSV or RSS.
