Aug 19, 2026Coturn is a free open source implementation of TURN and STUN Server.CVE-2026-68555 · Other software · coturn · reported by GitHubMedium 6.5
Coturn is a free open source implementation of TURN and STUN Server. In 4.15.0, an authenticated TURN user can repeatedly resume one allocation from fresh UDP 5-tuples without completing a handoff when the server enables --mobility. mobile_begin_transition() in src/server/ns_turn_server.c disarms each new session's allocation timeout and overwrites the allocation's single mobile_pending_resume link, leaving earlier pending sessions unreachable by the cleanup path, while copy_auth_parameters() ignores inc_quota() failure. The attacker can therefore retain unbounded server-side sessions and exhaust process memory even when --user-quota=1 is configured. This issue is fixed in version 4.16.0.

Aug 19, 2026Coturn is a free open source implementation of TURN and STUN Server.CVE-2026-68554 · Other software · coturn · reported by GitHubLow 2.3
Coturn is a free open source implementation of TURN and STUN Server. Prior to 4.15.0, an on-path attacker can append attributes after MESSAGE-INTEGRITY to an authenticated STUN request on plain UDP or TCP, adjust the STUN header length, and recompute the unkeyed FINGERPRINT while the original HMAC remains valid because it covers only the message prefix. Server-side parsing in src/server/ns_turn_server.c continues past MESSAGE-INTEGRITY through handle_turn_allocate(), handle_turn_create_permission(), handle_turn_refresh(), and handle_turn_command(), allowing trailing LIFETIME, XOR-PEER-ADDRESS, or ORIGIN attributes to override allocation lifetime, inject a permission, or bypass the origin check. TLS and DTLS deployments prevent this in-transit modification. This issue is fixed in version 4.15.0.

Aug 19, 2026Coturn is a free open source implementation of TURN and STUN Server.CVE-2026-68553 · Other software · coturn · reported by GitHubHigh 7.1
Coturn is a free open source implementation of TURN and STUN Server. Prior to 4.13.0, an authenticated TURN user can place printf-style format specifiers in the STUN USERNAME or REALM attribute, which passes is_secure_string() validation and is embedded into Redis keys at nine call sites in src/apps/relay/ns_ioalib_engine_impl.c. send_message_to_redis() in src/apps/relay/hiredis_libevent2.c then passes the attacker-controlled key as the format argument to redisAsyncCommand() while supplying only one variadic value, causing hiredis redisvFormatCommand() to read past the va_list. Exploitation can crash the coturn process and terminate active TURN sessions or disclose stack memory into Redis. This issue is fixed in version 4.13.0.

Aug 19, 2026Coturn is a free open source implementation of TURN and STUN Server.CVE-2026-68552 · Other software · coturn · reported by GitHubMedium 5.3
Coturn is a free open source implementation of TURN and STUN Server. Prior to 4.15.0, an unauthenticated remote client can send a STUN message over TCP or TLS with a body-length field from 65520 through 65532, causing the uint16_t len variable in stun_get_message_len_str() in src/client/ns_turn_msg.c to wrap when STUN_HEADER_LENGTH is added. The framing layer then consumes only 4 through 16 bytes, treats the remaining bytes as another message, desynchronizes the stream parser, and drops the attacking client's connection. Other clients and the server process are not affected. This issue is fixed in version 4.15.0.

Coturn is a free open source implementation of TURN and STUN Server. Prior to 4.16.0, addr_less_eq() in src/client/ns_turn_ioaddr.c uses a component-wise comparison for native IPv6 min-max intervals in ioa_addr_in_range(), allowing an authenticated TURN client to relay to an IPv6 peer that is numerically within a configured non-prefix-aligned denied-peer-ip range but is classified as outside it. Aug 4, 2026A stack-based out-of-bounds read vulnerability exists in the "s_vlog" function of stunnel, when handling oversized log messages via "vsnprintf".CVE-2026-70368 · Other software · Mobi-Com Polska Sp. z o.o. · reported by Red HatMedium 6.5
A stack-based out-of-bounds read vulnerability exists in the "s_vlog" function of stunnel, when handling oversized log messages via "vsnprintf". A remote attacker with network access to a stunnel service can send protocol inputs that trigger a log message longer than 1024 bytes, leading to an out-of-bounds stack read and a potential crash. In certain corner cases, the same vulnerability could be used to replace a series of trailing "\n" characters with "\0".

A Server-Side Request Forgery (SSRF) bypass vulnerability exists in “stunnel” 5.79 and lower when configured in SOCKS proxy mode. This flaw allows a client to bypass intended localhost restrictions by using IPv4-mapped IPv6 addresses (e.g., “::ffff:127.0.0.1”) or unspecified addresses ("0.0.0.0", "::"), enabling access to loopback-only services on the "stunnel" host that should not be network-reachable.

Jul 31, 2026Coturn is a free open source implementation of TURN and STUN Server.CVE-2026-65981 · Other software · coturn · reported by GitHubHigh 7.1
Coturn is a free open source implementation of TURN and STUN Server. Prior to 4.15.0, a server using --mobility authenticates a resumed REFRESH request with the resuming user's credentials but does not verify that identity against the original allocation owner, allowing an authenticated attacker who obtains a victim MOBILITY-TICKET to receive and inject relayed traffic and consume the victim's quota. In the handle_turn_refresh resume branch, the victim allocation (orig_ss) is located solely by the attacker-controlled mobile id, and credentials are only adopted (via copy_auth_parameters) when the resuming session is unauthenticated. Because the attacker's session already has hmackey_set set to 1 from its own prior authentication (which is never reset for long-term-credential sessions), the credential copy is skipped and check_stun_auth validates the REFRESH against the attacker's own identity rather than the allocation owner's. This issue is fixed in version 4.15.0.

Jul 31, 2026Coturn is a free open source implementation of TURN and STUN Server.CVE-2026-62959 · Other software · coturn · reported by GitHubHigh 8.2
Coturn is a free open source implementation of TURN and STUN Server. From 4.5.2 through 4.14.0, when Coturn is started with --acme-redirect <URL> and exposes a plaintext-TCP listener, an unauthenticated remote client can send a single ordinary HTTP GET request and receive a 301 response whose Location header contains up to ~870 bytes of adjacent process heap memory. The leaked region is a recycled network receive buffer that is reused without being zeroed, so on a busy server it can contain data from other clients' requests (TURN credentials, OAuth tokens, relayed payloads). Root cause is a signed→unsigned conversion. This issue is fixed in version 4.15.0.

Jul 10, 2026Coturn is a free open source implementation of TURN and STUN Server.CVE-2026-53450 · Other software · coturn · reported by GitHubHigh 7.4
Coturn is a free open source implementation of TURN and STUN Server. Prior to 4.13.0, coturn rejects loopback peers by default unless allow-loopback-peers is enabled, but the default loopback guard can be bypassed by using the IPv4-mapped IPv6 peer address ::ffff:127.0.0.1 in a TURN XOR-PEER-ADDRESS attribute. ioa_addr_is_loopback checks for the literal IPv6 loopback shape before IPv4-mapped IPv6 handling, so good_peer_addr does not apply the default loopback rejection and an authenticated TURN client can expose services bound only to localhost on the coturn host through TURN relay traffic. Prior to 3.3.0, HTMLRenderer.safe_url() does not block percent-encoded javascript URIs, allowing attacker-supplied Markdown links or images to bypass URL protections and execute script in rendered HTML. This issue is fixed in version 3.3.0.

Jul 8, 2026Mistune is a Python Markdown parser with renderers and plugins.CVE-2026-59922 · Other software · lepture · reported by GitHubHigh 7.5
Mistune is a Python Markdown parser with renderers and plugins. Prior to 3.3.0, a run of closed tilde, equals-sign, or caret marker pairs around a character causes quadratic work in src/mistune/plugins/formatting.py when the strikethrough, mark, or insert plugin scans for matching markers from each possible start position, allowing denial of service through CPU exhaustion. This issue is fixed in version 3.3.0.

Jun 24, 2026Mistune is a Python Markdown parser with renderers and plugins.CVE-2026-49851 · Other software · lepture · reported by GitHubHigh 8.7
Mistune is a Python Markdown parser with renderers and plugins. Prior to 3.3.0, Mistune is vulnerable to a CPU exhaustion DoS due to superlinear (approximately O(n²)) behavior in parse_link_text. When parsing Markdown containing many consecutive [ characters, parse_link_text repeatedly scans the input using a regex search inside a loop. Each iteration re-scans a large portion of the remaining string, resulting in quadratic-time behavior. An attacker-controlled Markdown input can therefore trigger excessive CPU usage with a very small payload. This vulnerability is fixed in 3.3.0.

Jun 18, 2026Coturn is a free open source implementation of TURN and STUN Server.CVE-2026-43994 · Other software · coturn · reported by GitHubHigh 8.1
Coturn is a free open source implementation of TURN and STUN Server. Versions prior to 4.10.0 contain a stack buffer overflow in decode_oauth_token_gcm(). A uint16_t nonce_len field read from an attacker-supplied OAuth access token (0-65535) is passed directly to memcpy() as the copy length into a 256-byte stack buffer (oauth_encrypted_block.nonce[256]) without bounds checking. The overflow occurs before AES-GCM authentication is verified, the attacker does not need to know the OAuth key or produce a valid AES-GCM token. Up to 735 bytes of attacker-controlled data are written past the buffer, may corrupt adjacent stack data, including control-flow data depending on compiler, ABI, and mitigations. Requires --oauth mode (non-default). This may provide a plausible RCE primitive depending on exploit mitigations; because coturn is widely deployed for WebRTC TURN/STUN and --oauth is commonly recommended, impact can be broad. This issue has been fixed in version 4.10.0.

Jun 18, 2026Coturn is a free open source implementation of TURN and STUN Server.CVE-2026-43915 · Other software · coturn · reported by GitHubMedium 5.4
Coturn is a free open source implementation of TURN and STUN Server. Versions prior to 4.11.0 contain a stored cross-site scripting (XSS) vulnerability in the web-admin HTTPS interface. An attacker who can create a TURN allocation with a crafted USERNAME value can inject HTML/JavaScript that executes when an authenticated web-admin user views the TURN session list. In configurations using anonymous TURN access (--no-auth), this may be exploitable without TURN credentials. In authenticated deployments, exploitation requires valid TURN credentials or control over a provisioned username. This issue has been fixed in version 4.11.0.

May 26, 2026Mistune is a Python Markdown parser with renderers and plugins.CVE-2026-44899 · Other software · lepture · reported by GitHubMedium 4.7
Mistune is a Python Markdown parser with renderers and plugins. Prior to 3.2.1, the Image directive plugin validates the :width: and :height: options with a regex compiled as _num_re = re.compile(r"^\d+(?:\.\d*)?"). When the validated value is not a plain integer, render_block_image() inserts it directly into a style="width:...;" or style="height:...;" attribute. Because the value was accepted by the prefix-only regex, any CSS after the leading digits reaches the style= attribute verbatim and without escaping. This vulnerability is fixed in 3.2.1.

May 26, 2026Mistune is a Python Markdown parser with renderers and plugins.CVE-2026-44898 · Other software · lepture · reported by GitHubMedium 6.1
Mistune is a Python Markdown parser with renderers and plugins. Prior to 3.2.1, render_toc_ul() builds a <ul> table-of-contents tree from a list of (level, id, text) tuples. Both the id value (used as href="#<id>") and the text value (used as the visible link label) are inserted into <a> tags via a plain Python format string — with no HTML escaping applied to either value. When heading IDs are derived from user-supplied heading text (the standard use-case for readable slug anchors), an attacker can craft a heading whose text breaks out of the href="#..." attribute context, injecting arbitrary HTML tags including <script> blocks directly into the rendered TOC. This vulnerability is fixed in 3.2.1.

Mistune is a Python Markdown parser with renderers and plugins. Prior to 3.2.1, HTMLRenderer.heading() builds the opening <hN> tag by string-concatenating the id attribute value directly into the HTML — with no call to escape(), safe_entity(), or any other sanitisation function. A double-quote character " in the id value terminates the attribute, allowing an attacker to inject arbitrary additional attributes (event handlers, src=, href=, etc.) into the heading element. This vulnerability is fixed in 3.2.1.

May 26, 2026Mistune is a Python Markdown parser with renderers and plugins.CVE-2026-44896 · Other software · lepture · reported by GitHubMedium 5.3
Mistune is a Python Markdown parser with renderers and plugins. In 3.2.0 and earlier, in src/mistune/directives/image.py, the render_figure() function concatenates figclass and figwidth options directly into HTML attributes without escaping. This allows attribute injection and XSS even when HTMLRenderer(escape=True) is used, because these values bypass the inline renderer. Version 3.2.1 contains a patch.

May 26, 2026Mistune is a Python Markdown parser with renderers and plugins.CVE-2026-44708 · Other software · lepture · reported by GitHubMedium 6.1
Mistune is a Python Markdown parser with renderers and plugins. Prior to 3.2.1, the mistune math plugin renders inline math ($...$) and block math ($$...$$) by concatenating the raw user-supplied content directly into the HTML output without any HTML escaping. This occurs even when the parser is explicitly created with escape=True, which is supposed to guarantee that all user-controlled text is sanitised before reaching the DOM. This vulnerability is fixed in 3.2.1.

May 6, 2026In versions 3.0.0a1 through 3.2.0 of Mistune, there is a ReDoS (Regular Expression Denial of Service) vulnerability in `LINK_TITLE_RE` that allows an attacker wCVE-2026-33079 · Other software · lepture · reported by GitHubHigh 8.7
In versions 3.0.0a1 through 3.2.0 of Mistune, there is a ReDoS (Regular Expression Denial of Service) vulnerability in `LINK_TITLE_RE` that allows an attacker who can supply Markdown for parsing to cause denial of service. The regular expression used for parsing link titles contains overlapping alternatives that can trigger catastrophic backtracking. In both the double-quoted and single-quoted branches, a backslash followed by punctuation can be matched either as an escaped punctuation sequence or as two ordinary characters, creating an ambiguous pattern inside a repeated group. If an attacker supplies Markdown containing repeated ! sequences with no closing quote, the regex engine explores an exponential number of backtracking paths. This is reachable through normal Markdown parsing of inline links and block link reference definitions. A small crafted input can therefore cause significant CPU consumption and make applications using Mistune unresponsive.
