Oct 14, 2026Loop with Unreachable Exit Condition ('Infinite Loop') vulnerability in Erlang OTP stdlib (erl_tar module), hexpm hex_core (hex_erl_tar module), hexpm hex (mix_CVE-2026-96596 · Other software · erlang · reported by 6b3ad84c-e1a6-4bf7-a703-f496b71e49dbMedium 5.9
Loop with Unreachable Exit Condition ('Infinite Loop') vulnerability in Erlang OTP stdlib (erl_tar module), hexpm hex_core (hex_erl_tar module), hexpm hex (mix_hex_erl_tar module) and erlang rebar3 (r3_hex_erl_tar module) allows an attacker who supplies a tar archive to cause a denial of service via a crafted GNU sparse member. When erl_tar:extract/1,2 writes a member to disk, erl_tar:stream_to_file_loop/3 reads it in chunks of 65536 bytes by default. For a GNU sparse member whose sparse map ends before its real size, erl_tar:do_sparse_read/3 matches its trailing-hole clause before its zero-length clause. After the chunk is used up, the trailing-hole clause reads zero bytes, does not advance the position, and recurses forever. A 2048-byte archive keeps the extracting process and one scheduler busy until the process is killed. The {max_size, N} option prevents this only when N is below the real size of the member. Extraction with the memory option is not affected. hex_core ships its own copy of erl_tar as hex_erl_tar, and Hex and rebar3 ship hex_core with prefixed module names (mix_hex_erl_tar and r3_hex_erl_tar). These copies contain the same code and do not call stdlib's erl_tar

Oct 10, 2026ExtUtils::Typemaps::STL::String versions before 1.06 for Perl T_STD_STRING typemap may read the SV length before stringifying the argument.CVE-2026-107373 · Other software · reported by 9b29abf9-4ab0-4765-b253-1875cd9b441eCritical 9.1
ExtUtils::Typemaps::STL::String versions before 1.06 for Perl T_STD_STRING typemap may read the SV length before stringifying the argument. The typemap uses $var = std::string( SvPV_nolen($arg), SvCUR($arg) ) However, evaluation order for C++ arguments is not specified, and some compilers may produce code that evalutes SvCUR($arg) first. When $arg is not a string (for example, an interger, number or a reference) then SvCUR will return an invalid value, and the program may abort or segfault.

Oct 8, 2026In OpenStack Mistral through 23.0.0, the std.ssh_proxied action passes a caller-supplied proxy_command value directly to paramiko.ProxyCommand() before any SSH CVE-2026-93858 · Other software · OpenStack · reported by MITREHigh 8.7
In OpenStack Mistral through 23.0.0, the std.ssh_proxied action passes a caller-supplied proxy_command value directly to paramiko.ProxyCommand() before any SSH connection to a gateway or target host is attempted. An authenticated project member can use the standard action-execution API to submit an arbitrary local command as proxy_command; paramiko starts that command as a subprocess on the executor host under the executor's own service account, independent of whether the SSH connection itself ever succeeds. Only Mistral deployments that permit the std.ssh_proxied action, the default configuration, are affected.

Oct 2, 2026Listdom: AI-powered Business Directory with Classifieds Ads Listings: Stored Cross-Site ScriptingCVE-2026-96647 · WordPress plugins & themes · reported by WordfenceMedium 6.4
The Listdom: AI-powered Business Directory with Classifieds Ads Listings plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to Stored Cross-Site Scripting via 'lsd[remark]' Parameter in all versions up to, and including, 6.1.1 due to insufficient input sanitization and output escaping. This makes it possible for authenticated attackers, with contributor-level access and above, to inject arbitrary web scripts in pages that will execute whenever a user accesses an injected page. Sep 26, 2026Contrast (Edgeless Systems) before 1.8.1 logs the workload secret to stderr, and thus to Kubernetes logs, when the Contrast initializer is configured with CONTRCVE-2025-71425 · Other software · edgelesssys · reported by VulnCheckHigh 8.5
Contrast (Edgeless Systems) before 1.8.1 logs the workload secret to stderr, and thus to Kubernetes logs, when the Contrast initializer is configured with CONTRAST_LOG_LEVEL set to info or debug. Because info is the default, all installations that do not customize the initializer log level are affected. This exposes workload secrets — normally accessible only to the Contrast Coordinator, the initializer, the seedshare owner, and the workload owner — to Kubernetes users with get or list permission on pods/logs and to anyone with read access to the Kubernetes log storage, such as the cloud provider. Deployments that do not use workload secrets are unaffected.

Sep 25, 2026In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: btrfs: zstd: fix lost wakeup when waiting for a workspace A writer can sleep forever in zsCVE-2026-98079 · Computers, phones & browsers · Linux · reported by 416baaa9-dc9f-4396-8d5f-8c081fb06d67
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: btrfs: zstd: fix lost wakeup when waiting for a workspace A writer can sleep forever in zstd_get_workspace() even though a workspace is free. When zstd_alloc_workspace() fails, the task is queued on zwsm->wait and schedules unconditionally, never re-testing the pool. zstd_put_workspace() publishes the workspace and then calls cond_wake_up(), which only wakes when a sleeper is already visible, so a workspace returned between the failed allocation and prepare_to_wait() wakes nobody. The window is wide: zstd_alloc_workspace() goes through kvmalloc() and may enter reclaim. Only a max level workspace triggers the wakeup and one is deliberately kept allocated as the fallback every waiter waits for, so once its wakeup is lost the writer stays in TASK_UNINTERRUPTIBLE until some other task happens to return one. Re-check the pool after prepare_to_wait() has published the waiter, and use the workspace if one turned up.

Sep 22, 2026MISP contains a reflected cross-site scripting (XSS) vulnerability in the AnalystDataController::viewForObject action.CVE-2026-95659 · Other software · MISP · reported by 5a6e4751-2f3f-4070-9419-94fb35b644e8Medium 4.8
MISP contains a reflected cross-site scripting (XSS) vulnerability in the AnalystDataController::viewForObject action. The method accepted a parent object type parameter from the URL without validation and passed it to the Overmind-themed AnalystData thread view element, where it was interpolated into two translated strings and rendered into the HTML response without output encoding. An authenticated attacker who can induce a victim to navigate to a crafted URL can inject arbitrary JavaScript that executes in the victim's browser within the MISP application context. This may allow the attacker to read session data, manipulate the page, or perform actions on behalf of the victim. The vulnerability requires the victim to be authenticated to MISP and to actively visit the attacker-supplied URL. The affected component is the AnalystData controller and the Overmind theme's AnalystData thread element. Version affected: <2.5.47

Sep 1, 2026Improper Validation of Specified Quantity in Input vulnerability in Erlang/OTP stdlib allows a remote attacker to degrade availability by supplying a URI whose CVE-2026-59696 · Other software · Erlang · reported by 6b3ad84c-e1a6-4bf7-a703-f496b71e49dbMedium 6.9
Improper Validation of Specified Quantity in Input vulnerability in Erlang/OTP stdlib allows a remote attacker to degrade availability by supplying a URI whose port component is a very long run of digits. uri_string:get_port/1 passes the port substring to binary_to_integer/1 with no length bound, catching only error:badarg, so a syntactically valid port of up to roughly 1.26 million digits converts successfully and costs the calling process hundreds of milliseconds of arbitrary-precision arithmetic. The conversion is reached from every authority-parsing path in uri_string:parse/1, including the host, registered-name, and IPv4 and IPv6 forms. parse/1 is the documented interface for parsing URIs, so any application that parses an attacker-supplied URI is exposed without further configuration. The conversion function is documented to accept integers of any size, so bounding the input is the caller's responsibility. This issue affects OTP from OTP 21.0 before OTP 27.3.4.17, from OTP 28.0 before OTP 28.5.0.6, and from OTP 29.0 before OTP 29.0.6, corresponding to stdlib from 3.5 before 6.2.2.5, from 7.0 before 7.3.0.2, and from 8.0 before 8.0.4.

Exploitation requires the Listdom Pro add-on to be active and the 'Display Options Per Listing' displ setting to be enabled, both of which are non-default configurations.

Aug 26, 2026RustDesk versions before 1.4.7 contain an uncontrolled speculative memory allocation vulnerability in BytesCodec.CVE-2026-73108 · Other software · rustdesk · reported by VulnCheckHigh 8.7
RustDesk versions before 1.4.7 contain an uncontrolled speculative memory allocation vulnerability in BytesCodec. Before authentication, the decoder trusts the payload length encoded in a four-byte frame header and reserves that amount before receiving the payload. A crafted header can request up to 1,073,741,823 bytes of capacity, allowing unauthenticated attackers to use concurrent TCP connections to cause memory exhaustion and denial of service. The fix caps header-triggered speculative preallocation at 256 KiB.

Aug 26, 2026RustDesk versions 1.3.9 through 1.4.9 contain a path traversal vulnerability in the macOS clipboard file-paste code path.CVE-2026-73102 · Other software · rustdesk · reported by VulnCheckMedium 6.9
RustDesk versions 1.3.9 through 1.4.9 contain a path traversal vulnerability in the macOS clipboard file-paste code path. The application accepts peer-supplied file descriptor names and joins them to the selected target directory without requiring normalized relative paths. A remote peer in an active clipboard file-paste session can use parent-directory components or absolute paths to write files outside the intended target directory at locations writable by the RustDesk process. Commit 6f1eb16 fixes the issue by validating descriptor names and safely joining paths.

Aug 24, 2026RustDesk's Windows clipboard redirection copies a peer-supplied length into a fixed-size caller buffer without an upper bound check.CVE-2026-76840 · Other software · rustdesk · reported by VulnCheckHigh 8.5
RustDesk's Windows clipboard redirection copies a peer-supplied length into a fixed-size caller buffer without an upper bound check. When an OLE paste consumer such as explorer.exe calls IStream::Read with a buffer of cb bytes, CliprdrStream_Read in libs/clipboard/src/windows/wf_cliprdr.c requests that many bytes of a remote file through cliprdr_send_request_filecontents and then executes CopyMemory(pv, clipboard->req_fdata, clipboard->req_fsize), where req_fsize is taken verbatim from the peer's CLIPRDR FileContentsResponse by wf_cliprdr_server_file_contents_response (req_fsize = fileContentsResponse->cbRequested) and is never clamped to cb anywhere in the chain. The function's only length comparison, req_fsize < cb, handles the short-read case and is evaluated after the copy has already occurred. A malicious or compromised peer that answers a small file-contents read with an oversized response therefore writes attacker-chosen data past the end of the paste consumer's heap buffer when the local user pastes clipboard file contents offered by the remote side. The file is a fork of FreeRDP's client/Windows/wf_cliprdr.c, where the same defect is CVE-2026-68579, fixed in FreeRDP 3.30.0

Aug 15, 2026In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: ipv6: addrconf: bail out of dad_failure when state is no longer POSTDAD addrconf_dad_failuCVE-2026-74398 · Computers, phones & browsers · Linux · reported by 416baaa9-dc9f-4396-8d5f-8c081fb06d67Critical 9.8
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: ipv6: addrconf: bail out of dad_failure when state is no longer POSTDAD addrconf_dad_failure() transitions ifp->state from DAD to POSTDAD via addrconf_dad_end(), which drops ifp->lock on return. The lock is re-acquired after net_info_ratelimited(). A concurrent ipv6_del_addr() can take the lock in that window, set ifp->state to DEAD and run list_del_rcu(&ifp->if_list). addrconf_dad_failure() then overwrites DEAD with ERRDAD at errdad: and schedules a new dad_work. The work calls ipv6_del_addr() again, hitting the already-poisoned list entry: general protection fault: 0000 [#1] SMP NOPTI CPU: 4 PID: 217 Comm: kworker/4:1 Workqueue: ipv6_addrconf addrconf_dad_work RIP: 0010:ipv6_del_addr+0xe9/0x280 RAX: dead000000000122 Call Trace: addrconf_dad_stop+0x113/0x140 addrconf_dad_work+0x28c/0x430 process_one_work+0x1eb/0x3b0 worker_thread+0x4d/0x400 kthread+0x104/0x140 ret_from_fork+0x35/0x40 Fold the addrconf_dad_end() logic into addrconf_dad_failure() under a single ifp->lock critical section. Aug 13, 2026The Bluetooth host GATT client function parse_read_std_char_desc() in subsys/bluetooth/host/gatt.c parses an ATT Read By Type Response received from a remote GACVE-2026-12236 · Other software · zephyrproject · reported by vulnerabilities@zephyrproject.orgMedium 6.5
The Bluetooth host GATT client function parse_read_std_char_desc() in subsys/bluetooth/host/gatt.c parses an ATT Read By Type Response received from a remote GATT server during BT_GATT_DISCOVER_STD_CHAR_DESC discovery. The per-entry stride rsp->len is taken directly from the peer's PDU, and the parse loop both tests its exit condition (length >= rsp->len) and advances (length -= rsp->len, pdu += rsp->len) using that value. The minimum value of rsp->len was never validated before the loop. A malicious or malfunctioning peer can reply with rsp->len = 0. Because length is unsigned and never decreases, the loop condition stays true forever and the read pointer never advances; as long as the body is at least a few bytes with a non-zero handle and a matching descriptor UUID, the host repeatedly re-parses the same bytes and invokes the discovery callback, never terminating. This hangs the Bluetooth host processing thread (CWE-835, loop with unreachable exit condition). The condition is reachable by any connected peer once the local device initiates standard-descriptor-value discovery; GATT discovery does not require bonding or encryption, so an unauthenticated adjacent attacker that the

Jul 27, 2026Relative Path Traversal vulnerability in Erlang OTP (stdlib zip module) allows writing files outside the intended extraction directory via a crafted zip archiveCVE-2026-47078 · Other software · Erlang · reported by 6b3ad84c-e1a6-4bf7-a703-f496b71e49dbMedium 4.8
Relative Path Traversal vulnerability in Erlang OTP (stdlib zip module) allows writing files outside the intended extraction directory via a crafted zip archive. zip:unzip/1,2 and zip:extract/1,2 validate entry paths using zip:check_dir_level/2, which tracks directory depth as a running integer counter: .. decrements it, normal path components increment it. The caller rejects only paths where the final counter value is less than zero. A path such as ../x/y causes the counter to go negative mid-traversal then recover to zero, passing validation while resolving to a location outside the extraction directory when joined with the current working directory via add_cwd. This vulnerability is associated with program file lib/stdlib/src/zip.erl. This issue affects OTP from OTP 27.1 before OTP 27.3.4.15, OTP 28.5.0.4, and OTP 29.0.4, corresponding to stdlib from 6.1 before 6.2.2.4, 7.3.0.1, and 8.0.3.
