  • Oct 21, 2026Slack Morphism is a client library for Slack Web/Events API/Socket Mode and Block Kit.CVE-2026-113799 · Other software · abdolence · reported by GitHubMedium 5.3

Slack Morphism is a client library for Slack Web/Events API/Socket Mode and Block Kit. Versions 1.0.0 through 2.27.0 expose the correct Slack request HMAC when signature verification fails. For an invalid request, `slack-morphism` computes the correct signature for the attacker-controlled timestamp and request body and stores it in `SlackEventWrongSignatureError.generated_hash`. The error's `Debug` and `Display` representations expose that value, and the default Axum listener error handler logs it at error level. An attacker who can both reach the application's Slack callback endpoint and read its application/service logs can therefore use the verifier as a chosen-message HMAC oracle. The attacker can send an arbitrary request with an invalid signature, recover the correct signature from the resulting log entry, and resend the same request within the five-minute freshness window. The second request passes Slack Morphism's signature verification and reaches the protected application callback without the attacker knowing the Slack signing secret. Version 2.28.0 patches the issue.

  • Oct 10, 2022Slack Morphism is a modern client library for Slack Web/Events API/Socket Mode and Block Kit.CVE-2022-39292 · Other software · abdolence · reported by GitHubHigh 7.5

Slack Morphism is a modern client library for Slack Web/Events API/Socket Mode and Block Kit. Debug logs expose sensitive URLs for Slack webhooks that contain private information. The problem is fixed in version 1.3.2 which redacts sensitive URLs for webhooks. As a workaround, people who use Slack webhooks may disable or filter debug logs.

  • Jul 22, 2022Slack Morphism is an async client library for Rust.CVE-2022-31162 · Other software · abdolence · reported by GitHubHigh 7.5

Slack Morphism is an async client library for Rust. Prior to 0.41.0, it was possible for Slack OAuth client information to leak in application debug logs. Stricter and more secure debug formatting was introduced in v0.41.0 for OAuth secret types to reduce the possibility of printing sensitive information in application logs. As a workaround, do not print/output requests and responses for OAuth and client configurations in logs.

Where this comes from: the exploited list is CISA’s Known Exploited Vulnerabilities catalog. Everything else is the whole National Vulnerability Database, where each record is published by the team that found the bug (Wordfence, Patchstack, WPScan, the vendors themselves and others); we show who. Exploit odds are FIRST’s EPSS, updated daily. Titles and categories are ours, so check the linked record before acting on a detail. For a write-up of the big ones, see our advisories. Every vendor, and every WordPress plugin and theme with a recorded flaw, also has its own page. All of it is free to reuse as JSON, CSV or RSS.
