  • Sep 11, 2026Shelf is a platform for tracking physical assets.CVE-2026-54166 · Other software · Shelf-nu · reported by GitHubHigh 7.1

Shelf is a platform for tracking physical assets. Prior to version 1.20.3, authenticated users with the `asset:import` permission can trigger server-side HTTP requests to attacker-controlled URLs through the Asset CSV Content Import feature. The `imageUrl` validation logic can be bypassed through multiple techniques, including image-extension suffixes, image-related path keywords, domain substring matching, and redirect chains. After validation, the server performs an unrestricted `fetch()` request to the supplied URL. This results in a Server-Side Request Forgery (SSRF) vulnerability that allows attackers to reach internal network services, cloud metadata endpoints, and arbitrary external hosts from the application's network context. Additionally, response bodies are fully buffered before size validation, creating a potential memory exhaustion vector. Version 1.20.3 patches the issue.

  • Jul 21, 2026Shelf is a platform for tracking physical assets.CVE-2026-47697 · Other software · Shelf-nu · reported by GitHubHigh 7.1

Shelf is a platform for tracking physical assets. Shelf is multi-tenant; data is isolated per organization (workspace). Prior to version 1.20.2, several endpoints accepted entity IDs from request input and `connect`-ed / read / updated them without verifying the IDs belonged to the caller's organization. An authenticated user in Org A who knew or obtained an ID belonging to Org B could act on Org B's data across organization boundaries (a cross-tenant IDOR). A loader-only restriction on personal-workspace bookings was also bypassable via a crafted POST. Version 1.20.2 patches the issue. No known workarounds are available.

  • May 12, 2026Shelf is a platform for tracking physical assets.CVE-2026-44204 · Other software · Shelf-nu · reported by GitHubMedium 6.5

Shelf is a platform for tracking physical assets. From 1.12 to before 1.20.1, a SQL injection vulnerability in the sortBy query parameter on the /assets route allows any authenticated user (any role) to execute arbitrary SQL and read data from any table in the database, including data belonging to other organizations. This vulnerability is fixed in 1.20.1.

Where this comes from: the exploited list is CISA’s Known Exploited Vulnerabilities catalog. Everything else is the whole National Vulnerability Database, where each record is published by the team that found the bug (Wordfence, Patchstack, WPScan, the vendors themselves and others); we show who. Exploit odds are FIRST’s EPSS, updated daily. Titles and categories are ours, so check the linked record before acting on a detail. For a write-up of the big ones, see our advisories. Every vendor, and every WordPress plugin and theme with a recorded flaw, also has its own page. All of it is free to reuse as JSON, CSV or RSS.
