In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: accel/rocket: search every core slot when looking up a scheduler sched_to_core() walks rdev->cores[] up to rdev->num_cores, and rocket_remove() decrements num_cores for every core it removes. Unbind a core that is not the last one and the cores behind it fall outside the search, so sched_to_core() returns NULL for a core that is still bound and still running jobs. Neither caller checks the result: rocket_job_run(): rocket_fence_create(core), core->dev rocket_job_timedout(): dev_err(core->dev, "NPU job timed out") Unbinding the middle core of the three on an RK3588 while three clients are submitting to all of them faults twice, once from the surviving core's job queue and once from its reset work: KASAN: null-ptr-deref in range [0x0000000000000220-0x0000000000000227] Workqueue: fdad0000.npu drm_sched_run_job_work [gpu_sched] pc : rocket_job_run+0x234/0x838 [rocket] Call trace: rocket_job_run+0x234/0x838 [rocket] drm_sched_run_job_work+0x2cc/0xad8 [gpu_sched] process_one_work+0x640/0x14f0 KASAN: null-ptr-deref in range [0x0000000000000000-0x0000000000000007] Workqueue: rocket-reset

Oct 28, 2026In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: sched_ext: Fix the bypass dispatch claim for schedulers bypassed by an ancestor scx_bypassCVE-2026-99104 · Computers, phones & browsers · Linux · reported by 416baaa9-dc9f-4396-8d5f-8c081fb06d67
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: sched_ext: Fix the bypass dispatch claim for schedulers bypassed by an ancestor scx_bypass() claims bypass dispatch when the scheduler's depth goes from zero to one and releases it when the depth returns to zero, but propagates only the depth to the descendants, not the claim. A descendant that starts bypassing with its ancestor never claims, and one whose own bypass ends under the ancestor's keeps its claim, as its depth does not return to zero. A sub-scheduler enable whose bypass ends under a PM suspend thus leaks its claim: the parent keeps hosting bypass dispatch and the sub-scheduler's next bypass trips the WARN_ON_ONCE() on the claim. A sub-scheduler disable that starts under a PM suspend has no claim, so once the resume lifts the root's bypass its tasks sit on the parent's bypass DSQs with nobody consuming them. Claim for every descendant whose depth goes from zero to one in the propagation and release every scheduler in the subtree whose depth returned to zero once the tasks have moved out of the bypass DSQs. A parent that is bypassing itself when a descendant claims consumes only its own bypass DSQs, e

Oct 27, 2026Cronicle is a multi-server task scheduler and runner, with a web based front-end UI.CVE-2026-58255 · Other software · jhuckaby · reported by GitHubHigh 8.8
Cronicle is a multi-server task scheduler and runner, with a web based front-end UI. Prior to 0.9.121, a non-administrator user or scoped API key with `create_events` and `run_events` privileges can inject top-level `uid` and `gid` fields through `/api/app/create_event` or `/api/app/update_event`. In `lib/api.js`, `requireValidEventData` uses `validateOptionalParams` as a partial allow-list that silently passes unknown keys, storing the injected fields verbatim. In `lib/job.js`, `launchJob` copies the whole event into the job, and a plugin `uid` overrides the event `uid` only when the plugin defines one. The default `shellplug` and `urlplug` plugins do not define a `uid`, so the event-controlled identity survives into child-process launch. On a root-daemon installation, this lets a low-privileged user run jobs as arbitrary users, including root, bypassing the otherwise administrator-only run-as-user control. This API-side event injection is distinct from the job-output `uid`/`gid` injection addressed by CVE-2026-39401. This issue is fixed in version 0.9.121.

Oct 23, 2026In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: sched_ext: Fix CPU hotplug hang when a dying CPU's tasks sit in the BPF scheduler A CPU goCVE-2026-99085 · Computers, phones & browsers · Linux · reported by 416baaa9-dc9f-4396-8d5f-8c081fb06d67
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: sched_ext: Fix CPU hotplug hang when a dying CPU's tasks sit in the BPF scheduler A CPU going down has to empty its own rq. Its hotplug thread waits in sched_cpu_wait_empty() until nothing else is left, and the only thing that wakes it is balance_push(), which runs from __schedule() on the dying CPU and pushes off the migratable tasks the CPU picks. sched_ext breaks this. A task sitting on a user DSQ or held by the BPF scheduler is still counted on its rq, but an inactive CPU no longer calls ops.dispatch() and can't pull the task back. The dying CPU goes idle with the task still counted, and one of two things happens: - Another CPU consumes the task. The rq empties without a __schedule() on the dying CPU, so the hotplug thread is never woken and cpu_down() hangs holding cpu_hotplug_lock. - The task is affine only to the dying CPU. Nothing can move it, and the offline stalls until the watchdog ejects the BPF scheduler. When the rq goes offline, re-enqueue every task on it that isn't already on the local DSQ. An enqueue on an offline rq lands on the local DSQ, so the dying CPU itself picks the tasks and ba

Oct 18, 2026In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: drm/nouveau: RCU-free the scheduler-containing nouveau_sched struct nouveau_sched embeds aCVE-2026-98512 · Computers, phones & browsers · Linux · reported by 416baaa9-dc9f-4396-8d5f-8c081fb06d67High 7.1
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: drm/nouveau: RCU-free the scheduler-containing nouveau_sched struct nouveau_sched embeds a struct drm_gpu_scheduler (base). nouveau_sched_destroy() calls nouveau_sched_fini() (which does drm_sched_fini(&sched->base)) and then frees the object with plain kfree(sched). drm_sched_fence_get_timeline_name() returns fence->sched->name, and the scheduler fence keeps a .release callback so it is not ops-detached on signalling. A finished fence exported to userspace via drm_syncobj / sync_file therefore keeps pointing at &sched->base after nouveau_sched_destroy(), and a later get_timeline_name() -- reachable unprivileged through SYNC_IOC_FILE_INFO -- dereferences freed memory (KASAN slab-use-after-free read). Per the dma-fence lifetime contract the exporter must keep the data backing a signalled fence alive for an RCU grace period. Free the scheduler-containing object with kfree_rcu() instead of kfree().

Oct 14, 2026Koha is vulnerable to OS command injection in the Task Scheduler deletion path.CVE-2026-105106 · Other software · Koha Community · reported by 309f9ea4-e3e9-4c6c-b79d-e8eb01244f2cHigh 8.8
Koha is vulnerable to OS command injection in the Task Scheduler deletion path. The tools/scheduler.pl handler accepts the jobid request parameter for op=cud-delete and passes it to C4::Scheduler::remove_at_job without validating it. Schedule::At::remove substitutes the supplied job ID into an atrm command string without quoting or escaping it and executes the command through a single-argument system() call, which invokes the shell. An authenticated staff user with the tools => schedule_tasks permission can therefore execute arbitrary operating-system commands as the Koha web/application user by supplying shell metacharacters in jobid. The issue is fixed in Koha 24.11.20, 25.05.15, 25.11.09, and 26.05.04, and in the 26.11 development branch.

Oct 13, 2026Cronicle is a multi-server task scheduler and runner, with a web based front-end UI.CVE-2026-55562 · Other software · jhuckaby · reported by GitHubCritical 9
Cronicle is a multi-server task scheduler and runner, with a web based front-end UI. Prior to 0.9.119, the administrator Activity Log in htdocs/js/pages/admin/Activity.js concatenates the attacker-controlled item.user.full_name value into HTML without applying encode_entities and inserts the result through this.div.html. The bundled pixl-server-user input filter can be bypassed by a tag containing a line break because its regular expression does not match newlines. An authenticated non-administrator can update the attacker's own name through /api/user/update using a valid session and current password; when free_accounts is enabled, an anonymous attacker can instead plant the name during self-registration. The stored name executes script in an administrator's session when the Activity Log is opened, enabling administrator takeover and subsequent command execution through privileged Cronicle features. This issue is fixed in version 0.9.119.

In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: sched_ext: Fix NULL sched deref in kfunc sub-sched error paths When the root scheduler has sub-scheds attached, the COMPAT kfunc wrappers scx_bpf_select_cpu_and() and scx_bpf_dsq_insert_vtime() refuse the call and report to @p's scheduler: scx_error(scx_task_sched(p), "... must be used"); The wrappers are reachable with tasks that have no scheduler. scx_bpf_select_cpu_and() is in the select_cpu kfunc group, which scx_kfunc_context_filter() opens to BPF_PROG_TYPE_SYSCALL programs; scx_bpf_dsq_insert_vtime() is in the enqueue_dispatch group, which ops.enqueue() and ops.dispatch() may call with any KF_RCU task -- the group has no kf_tasks validation, and scx_dsq_insert_preamble() checks task ownership with scx_task_on_sched() precisely because @p may be an arbitrary task. scx_task_sched(p) is p->scx.sched, which is NULL for tasks past sched_ext_dead() -- which clears it via scx_disable_and_exit_task() on exit -- and for idle tasks, which the enable paths skip as they are never scheduled through SCX. It is also an rcu_dereference_protected() that expects @p's pi_lock or rq lock, which neither wrapper holds. Passi

In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: octeontx2-pf: reset HTB scheduler topology before freeing queues HTB offload programs NIX_AF_TLxX_TOPOLOGY on QoS-allocated scheduler queues via otx2_qos_txschq_set_parent_topology(), but teardown freed those queues without clearing TOPOLOGY. The AF only restores PARENT and SCHEDULE on free, so PRIO_ANCHOR/RR_PRIO settings can survive in the shared scheduler pool and affect later allocations. Add otx2_qos_reset_schq_topology() and otx2_qos_free_hw_schq() to zero TL4 through TL2 TOPOLOGY before each schq is returned to the AF during hierarchy teardown and cfg rollback. Skip the aggregation level (TL1): it is a per-tx-link queue shared by the PF, default Tx hierarchy and VFs, and is not freed back to the AF by nix_txschq_free_one().

Sep 25, 2026Blog2Social: Social Media Auto Post & Scheduler: Authorization bypassCVE-2026-92829 · WordPress plugins & themes · reported by WordfenceMedium 4.3
The Blog2Social: Social Media Auto Post & Scheduler plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to authorization bypass in all versions up to, and including, 9.1.0. This is due to the plugin not properly verifying that a user is authorized to perform an action. This makes it possible for authenticated attackers, with contributor-level access and above, to view, modify, or delete other users' Blog2Social records, including disclosing another user's network authentication IDs and scheduled post content, overwriting Open Graph and Twitter Card post metadata on posts they do not own, rebinding another user's social-network authorization, and mass-hiding all users' scheduled posts sitewide. The plugin's b2s_security_nonce is emitted on the post-edit meta box, which Contributors can render, making the nonce available to any authenticated user at that role level or above.

Sep 18, 2026Process Compose is a scheduler and orchestrator for non-containerized applications.CVE-2026-77339 · Other software · F1bonacc1 · reported by GitHubMedium 5.1
Process Compose is a scheduler and orchestrator for non-containerized applications. Prior to 1.120.0, the MCP SSE listener in src/mcp/server.go accepts browser-origin requests to /sse and the returned message endpoint without validating the Host header, validating the Origin header, or authenticating the caller. When MCP SSE is enabled, a malicious website can use DNS rebinding to reach the loopback listener and issue MCP requests. If expose_control_tools is enabled, the attacker can enumerate process state, read or search logs, truncate logs, and start, stop, restart, or scale local processes; configured user-defined tools can expose additional commands and output. The Gin REST API token middleware does not protect this separately started MCP listener. This issue is fixed in version 1.120.0.

In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: drm/msm: Only fini scheduler after successful init msm_ringbuffer_new() destroys a partially initialized ring through msm_ringbuffer_destroy() when an allocation or scheduler setup step fails. If drm_sched_init() fails before it finishes initializing the scheduler, the failure path still calls drm_sched_fini(). That teardown path assumes the scheduler work items, lists, and workqueue state were initialized. Track successful scheduler initialization and call drm_sched_fini() only after drm_sched_init() returned 0. This issue was found by a static analysis checker and confirmed by manual source review. Sep 16, 2026In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: drm/amdkfd: Add TLB flush after MES queue eviction/suspension MES (Micro Engine Scheduler)CVE-2026-89811 · Computers, phones & browsers · Linux · reported by 416baaa9-dc9f-4396-8d5f-8c081fb06d67High 8.8
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: drm/amdkfd: Add TLB flush after MES queue eviction/suspension MES (Micro Engine Scheduler) does not perform heavy-weight TLB invalidation after unmapping queues, unlike HWS which does this automatically. This causes a race condition where in-flight DMA descriptors can access memory that has been unmapped, leading to page faults and GPU queue hangs during SVM page migration. The issue manifests as KFDSVMRangeTest.MultiThreadMigrationTest failures on gfx1151 (Strix Point) with XNACK mode 1 enabled - the GPU compute queue hangs with packets submitted but never consumed. Add kfd_flush_tlb() calls after MES queue removal in two locations: - evict_process_queues_cpsch(): after all queues removed during eviction - suspend_queues(): after debug/criu queue suspension (with mem_fence barrier) This ensures all in-flight memory accesses from unmapped queues are flushed before memory is freed or migrated. Sep 1, 2026Uncontrolled Resource Consumption vulnerability in ash-project ash lets a slow asynchronous read spin a scheduler thread at full CPU while the framework waits fCVE-2026-82743 · Other software · ash-project · reported by 6b3ad84c-e1a6-4bf7-a703-f496b71e49dbLow 2.1
Uncontrolled Resource Consumption vulnerability in ash-project ash lets a slow asynchronous read spin a scheduler thread at full CPU while the framework waits for it. Ash.Actions.Read.AsyncLimiter.await_at_least_one/1 (lib/ash/actions/read/async_limiter.ex) waited for concurrent async read tasks by polling each with Task.yield(task, 0) in a tight loop rather than blocking. While every outstanding task is still running (a slow related-data load or calculation), the loop returns immediately and repeats, busy-spinning and holding a BEAM scheduler at full CPU for the whole duration of the slow read; concurrent slow reads tie up further schedulers. The fix waits with Task.yield_many (a non-blocking sweep followed by a blocking wait with timeout: :infinity), so the process sleeps until a task completes instead of spinning. This issue affects ash: from 2.19.0 before 3.32.2.

In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: sched_ext: Skip sub-disable teardown for never-linked sub-schedulers A sub-scheduler enable can fail before scx_link_sched() links the sched into the hierarchy, e.g. when the parent is already being disabled, and cleanup still runs the full scx_sub_disable(). That is racy against root disable: drain_descendants() is the only ordering between a sub's disable-time task walk and root disable's all-task teardown, and an unlinked sub is invisible to it. Root's teardown can thus run between the never-linked sub's drain and its walk, exiting every task to no scheduler. The walk then trips the membership WARN and re-homes the exited tasks onto the dying hierarchy, a use-after-free. Skip the cgroup ownership reset and the task walk if @sch was never linked, indicated by the empty ->sibling as unlinking only happens later in the same function. The membership WARN remains valid: a linked sub is always waited on by an ancestor's drain.

In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: drm/v3d: Serialize the scheduler timeout handlers V3D exposes several independent hardware queues (BIN, RENDER, TFU and CSD) but has only a single, global reset. A timeout on any one queue therefore has to stop, reset and restart the schedulers of every other queue as well. That makes concurrent timeout handlers unsafe. `reset_lock` was never able to make them safe, as a driver-side lock can only cover the driver's &drm_sched_backend_ops.timedout_job callback. The scheduler handles the timed out job and its pending list around that callback, outside of the driver's control, so a global reset triggered by one queue can still interfere with another queue that is in the middle of handling a timeout of its own. Consequently, if a reset happens in the CSD queue while a CL-intensive application is running, the global reset stops and restarts the CL queue's scheduler while that queue is handling a timeout of its own. As drm_sched_stop() and drm_sched_start() subtract and add the credits of every job sitting on the pending list of the scheduler they are called on, and as the CL queue's handler concurrently takes its jo
