  • Oct 27, 2026rtl_433 through 25.12 contains a stack-based buffer overflow vulnerability in proflame2_mc() that allows nearby attackers to write past a 7-byte stack buffer byCVE-2026-117609 · Other software · merbanan · reported by VulnCheckHigh 7.1

rtl_433 through 25.12 contains a stack-based buffer overflow vulnerability in proflame2_mc() that allows nearby attackers to write past a 7-byte stack buffer by sending more than seven valid Manchester-coded words. Attackers can transmit a crafted OOK radio signal or supply a crafted signal file to crash rtl_433 and corrupt stack memory, enabling control-flow hijacking on builds without stack canaries.

  • Dec 18, 2025merbanan/rtl_433 versions up to and including 25.02 and prior to commit 25e47f8 contain a stack-based buffer overflow vulnerability in the function parse_rfraw(CVE-2025-34450 · Other software · merbanan · reported by VulnCheckMedium 6.9

merbanan/rtl_433 versions up to and including 25.02 and prior to commit 25e47f8 contain a stack-based buffer overflow vulnerability in the function parse_rfraw() located in src/rfraw.c. When processing crafted or excessively large raw RF input data, the application may write beyond the bounds of a stack buffer, resulting in memory corruption or a crash. This vulnerability can be exploited to cause a denial of service and, under certain conditions, may be leveraged for further exploitation depending on the execution environment and available mitigations.

Where this comes from: the exploited list is CISA’s Known Exploited Vulnerabilities catalog. Everything else is the whole National Vulnerability Database, where each record is published by the team that found the bug (Wordfence, Patchstack, WPScan, the vendors themselves and others); we show who. Exploit odds are FIRST’s EPSS, updated daily. Titles and categories are ours, so check the linked record before acting on a detail. For a write-up of the big ones, see our advisories. Every vendor, and every WordPress plugin and theme with a recorded flaw, also has its own page. All of it is free to reuse as JSON, CSV or RSS.
