Oct 30, 2026When a pgAdmin 4 connection was not meant to use a Kerberos user's delegated credentials, pgAdmin removed KRB5CCNAME from its environment, so the Kerberos libraCVE-2026-116244 · Other software · pgadmin.org · reported by f86ef6dc-4d3a-42ad-8f28-e6d5547a5007High 7.1
When a pgAdmin 4 connection was not meant to use a Kerberos user's delegated credentials, pgAdmin removed KRB5CCNAME from its environment, so the Kerberos library fell back to the default credential cache, or a client keytab, of the operating-system account running pgAdmin. libpq then answered any server that asked for GSSAPI authentication with that account's ticket, whatever user name the pgAdmin user gave, so in server mode any user could connect as the service account's Kerberos principal; gssencmode=disable did not prevent it. On Windows, SSPI used the service account's logon in the same way. psql was also started with pgAdmin's environment, which could hold another user's credential cache while that user was connecting. The fix points KRB5CCNAME and KRB5_CLIENT_KTNAME at a file that cannot exist except while a Kerberos-authenticated user connects with Kerberos, and gives every other connection, psql and the utilities require_auth=!gss,!sspi and gssencmode=disable, checked on the final connection string. require_auth needs libpq 16 or later. This issue affects pgAdmin 4: before 9.19.

Oct 29, 2026Insertion of Sensitive Information into Externally-Accessible File or Directory (CWE-538) in Elastic Cloud Enterprise (ECE) can lead to credential disclosure viCVE-2026-115711 · Other software · Elastic · reported by security@elastic.coMedium 6.4
Insertion of Sensitive Information into Externally-Accessible File or Directory (CWE-538) in Elastic Cloud Enterprise (ECE) can lead to credential disclosure via Retrieve Embedded Sensitive Data (CAPEC-37). ECE stores runtime information about platform service containers in a location that lower-privileged platform components can read, and this information includes secrets from the container configuration. An attacker with access to the internal ECE platform services can obtain these secrets, which include role tokens. A role token can let the attacker add an unauthorized host to the installation with the roles of that token.

Oct 26, 2026boneIO black_debian_images ships with a Mosquitto MQTT broker that uses the same default credentials on all devices.CVE-2026-77056 · Other software · boneIO · reported by cvd@cert.plHigh 7.1
boneIO black_debian_images ships with a Mosquitto MQTT broker that uses the same default credentials on all devices. These credentials are publicly documented on github, and there is no indication in the instructions to change them. A remote attacker can use them to gain full read and write access to the broker, allowing control of connected relays, blinds, and gates, and injection of fake entities into a linked Home Assistant installation. This issue was fixed in version 1.6.0 of the image: MQTT passwords are generated per device at first boot. Devices upgraded from earlier versions keep their existing broker credentials; from boneio 1.6.0 the web panel reports credentials that are still the published defaults, and the owner has to change them.

Insufficiently Protected Credentials vulnerability in hackney in benoitc hackney allows a redirecting server to obtain the basic_auth and cookie credentials of a request via a same-host redirect to another scheme or port. With follow_redirect enabled, hackney:follow_redirect/10 in src/hackney.erl reissues the request to the Location target after hackney:maybe_strip_auth_on_redirect/3, which compared only the hostname of the current and the redirect URL. A redirect from https to http on the same host resent the Authorization and Cookie headers in cleartext, where an on-path attacker can read them, and a redirect to another port on the same host handed them to a different service. location_trusted forwards credentials to any target by design and is unchanged. In Splunk SOAR versions below 8.7.0, an unauthenticated user with access to encrypted credential data from an affected Splunk SOAR instance could submit Basic authentication data to the Representational State Transfer (REST) API to expose and decrypt that encrypted credential data. The vulnerability is possible because Splunk SOAR decrypts encrypted Basic authentication values before completing authentication checks. The attack requires the unauthenticated user to have encrypted credential data from an affected Splunk SOAR instance. The unauthenticated user should not be able to exploit the vulnerability at will. For more information see Using the REST API reference for Splunk SOAR (On-premises) (https://help.splunk.com/en/splunk-soar/soar-on-premises/rest-api-reference/8.5.0/using-the-splunk-soar-rest-api/using-the-rest-api-reference-for-splunk-soar-on-premises) in the Splunk documentation.

Oct 21, 2026Missing Authentication for Critical Function (CWE-306) and Insufficiently Protected Credentials (CWE-522) in the control plane enrollment status handler (HandleCVE-2026-103090 · Computers, phones & browsers · Google · reported by cve-coordination@google.comHigh 8.8
Missing Authentication for Critical Function (CWE-306) and Insufficiently Protected Credentials (CWE-522) in the control plane enrollment status handler (HandleEnrollStatus at GET /enroll/status in internal/controlplane/server.go) in Google OSS Agent Mesh (SAM) versions 0.1.0-alpha.1 through 0.1.0-alpha.8 allow an unauthenticated remote attacker to retrieve an approved bootstrap-enrolled peer's signed Biscuit identity token by supplying a peer_id obtainable from the unauthenticated GET /info endpoint. A related flaw in POST /enroll allowed any bootstrap-token holder to re-fetch another peer's credential. An attacker can replay the disclosed Biscuit token as a bearer credential on /policies to read mesh authorization policies and on /routers/lease to overwrite advertised router multiaddrs. Users should upgrade to version 0.1.0-alpha.9 or later, which requires cryptographic proof of possession of the enrollment private key on credential-releasing endpoints, enforces rate limiting, and validates router lease addresses.

Oct 21, 2026Girafit camera app (Android and iOS) version 1.9.1 and earlier, and Girafit camera devices, contain a hardcoded credentials vulnerability that allows attackers CVE-2026-53986 · Other software · Girafit · reported by VulnCheckMedium 6.9
Girafit camera app (Android and iOS) version 1.9.1 and earlier, and Girafit camera devices, contain a hardcoded credentials vulnerability that allows attackers to obtain the shared TURN relay username by decompiling the app or intercepting unencrypted network traffic during live view registration. Attackers can extract the static TURN username and session token, which are identical across all installs and not tied to any user or device, potentially enabling tracking, impersonation, or further exploitation if combined with the TURN relay password.

Oct 21, 2026Missing authorization in the REST metrics route of Progressive Robot hMailServer 6.2.25 through 6.3.6 allows a remote authenticated user whose credential is conCVE-2026-114477 · Other software · Progressive Robot Ltd · reported by cve@gitlab.comMedium 4.3
Missing authorization in the REST metrics route of Progressive Robot hMailServer 6.2.25 through 6.3.6 allows a remote authenticated user whose credential is confined to named domains to read the server-wide traffic history. GET /api/v1/metrics/history returns the server's traffic counters over the last 30 days; those counters are server-wide and carry no domain, which is why the report routes already refuse the same counters to a credential confined to named domains. The metrics route was not among the routes the server's authorization gate refuses a confined credential and its handler was not given the caller, so a domain administrator, an account given another role that holds view_configuration in named domains (the auditor role given a domain list among them), or an API key issued for named domains could read the whole server's traffic totals rather than its own domains'. The disclosure is of aggregate operational counters, not of any message or account.

Oct 21, 2026Incorrect authorization in the REST administration API of Progressive Robot hMailServer 6.3.4 through 6.3.6 allows a remote authenticated user whose credential CVE-2026-114476 · Other software · Progressive Robot Ltd · reported by cve@gitlab.comHigh 7.5
Incorrect authorization in the REST administration API of Progressive Robot hMailServer 6.3.4 through 6.3.6 allows a remote authenticated user whose credential holds the manage_roles permission in named domains - a full-scope API key issued for those domains, or an account assigned the serveradmin role with a list of domains - to obtain the server administrator's authority. An account's admin level gives it authority, and a role assigned to it replaces that authority, which is how an administrator narrows an account whose admin level is the server administrator's. The route that takes a role away (DELETE /api/v1/role-assignments/{address}) checked only that the credential takes in what the account held at the time, not what it would hold afterwards, so such a credential could take a narrowing role away from an account in its domains whose admin level is the server administrator's, returning it to the server administrator's authority, and, having set that account's password while it held the narrower role, sign in as the server administrator.

Oct 21, 2026Missing authorization in the REST role-management routes of Progressive Robot hMailServer 6.3.4 through 6.3.6 allows a remote authenticated user whose credentiaCVE-2026-114475 · Other software · Progressive Robot Ltd · reported by cve@gitlab.comMedium 6.5
Missing authorization in the REST role-management routes of Progressive Robot hMailServer 6.3.4 through 6.3.6 allows a remote authenticated user whose credential is confined to named domains to modify a custom role that accounts in other domains hold, and to create custom roles and delete any that no account holds. The routes that create, update and delete a custom role require the manage_roles permission, which only the serveradmin role holds; but a full-scope API key issued for named domains, and serveradmin assigned with a domain list, are serveradmin confined to those domains and hold manage_roles. The server's authorization gate did not refuse the three role routes to a confined credential and the route named no domain, so a credential issued to one tenant could raise or lower the permissions of a custom role assigned across other tenants - granting another domain's role every permission over its mailboxes and settings, or removing what it needs. A custom role may not hold administer_server, administer_domain or manage_roles, so the confined credential cannot make itself or another a server administrator by creating or rewriting a custom role.
