  • Jul 15, 2026The PackagerResolver of Apache Ivy is able to download online artifacts and to (re)package them in a format defined by a packager.xml file.CVE-2026-26032 · Websites & servers · Apache Software Foundation · reported by security@apache.orgMedium 5.4

The PackagerResolver of Apache Ivy is able to download online artifacts and to (re)package them in a format defined by a packager.xml file. This repackaging is done by an Ant script, which is stored in a subdirectory of the configured "buildRoot" directory. This subdirectory is calculated based on modules coordinates, like the organisation, name or version. If one of the coordinates contains "../" sequences - which are valid characters for Ivy coordinates in general- it is possible to break out of the configured "buildRoot" directory where other files can be overwritten. In order to exploit this vulnerability an attacker needs to have access to a packager repository and add or modify the coordinates in ivy.xml files to have such "../" sequences. Users of Apache Ivy 2.0.0 to 2.5.3 (inclusive) should upgrade to Ivy 2.6.0.

  • May 12, 2026Pulpy is a lightweight, cross-platform desktop application packager for web apps.CVE-2026-44225 · Other software · enesgkky · reported by GitHubCritical 9.3

Pulpy is a lightweight, cross-platform desktop application packager for web apps. Prior to 0.1.1, Pulpy injects a pulpy.fs JavaScript API into every packaged web application, giving it access to the host filesystem. A validateFsPath() function is supposed to sandbox this access, but its blocklist is incomplete. Any web app packaged with Pulpy can read and write arbitrary files in the user's home directory — including ~/.ssh/id_rsa, ~/.aws/credentials, and ~/Library/Keychains/. This vulnerability is fixed in 0.1.1.

  • Apr 15, 2026Zarf is an Airgap Native Packager Manager for Kubernetes.CVE-2026-40090 · Other software · zarf-dev · reported by GitHubHigh 7.1

Zarf is an Airgap Native Packager Manager for Kubernetes. Versions 0.23.0 through 0.74.1 contain an arbitrary file write vulnerability in the zarf package inspect sbom and zarf package inspect documentation subcommands. These subcommands output file paths are constructed by joining a user-controlled output directory with the package's Metadata.Name field read directly from the untrusted package's zarf.yaml manifest. Although Metadata.Name is validated against a regex on package creation, an attacker can unarchive a package to modify the Metadata.Name field to contain path traversal sequences such as ../../etc/cron.d/malicious or absolute paths like /home/user/.ssh/authorized_keys, along with the corresponding files inside SBOMS.tar. This allows writing attacker-controlled content to arbitrary filesystem locations within the permissions of the user running the inspect command. This issue has been fixed in version 0.74.2.

  • Mar 6, 2026Zarf is an Airgap Native Packager Manager for Kubernetes.CVE-2026-29064 · Other software · zarf-dev · reported by GitHubHigh 8.2

Zarf is an Airgap Native Packager Manager for Kubernetes. From version 0.54.0 to before version 0.73.1, a path traversal vulnerability in archive extraction allows a specifically crafted Zarf package to create symlinks pointing outside the destination directory, enabling arbitrary file read or write on the system processing the package. This issue has been patched in version 0.73.1.

  • Mar 29, 2024Electron Packager bundles Electron-based application source code with a renamed Electron executable and supporting files into folders ready for distribution.CVE-2024-29900 · Other software · electron · reported by GitHubHigh 7.5

Electron Packager bundles Electron-based application source code with a renamed Electron executable and supporting files into folders ready for distribution. A random segment of ~1-10kb of Node.js heap memory allocated either side of a known buffer will be leaked into the final executable. This memory _could_ contain sensitive information such as environment variables, secrets files, etc. This issue is patched in 18.3.1.

Where this comes from: the exploited list is CISA’s Known Exploited Vulnerabilities catalog. Everything else is the whole National Vulnerability Database, where each record is published by the team that found the bug (Wordfence, Patchstack, WPScan, the vendors themselves and others); we show who. Exploit odds are FIRST’s EPSS, updated daily. Titles and categories are ours, so check the linked record before acting on a detail. For a write-up of the big ones, see our advisories. Every vendor, and every WordPress plugin and theme with a recorded flaw, also has its own page. All of it is free to reuse as JSON, CSV or RSS.
