Sep 30, 2026Algorithm::AhoCorasick::XS versions through 0.04 for Perl read the haystack string length before the scalar is stringified.CVE-2026-80490 · Other software · reported by 9b29abf9-4ab0-4765-b253-1875cd9b441e
Algorithm::AhoCorasick::XS versions through 0.04 for Perl read the haystack string length before the scalar is stringified. The matches, first_match and match_details methods use the T_STD_STRING typemap to translate Perl scalars (SVs) into strings via the std::string constructor, using the SvPV macro to stringify the haystack input, and the SvCUR macro to determine the length of the SV. When the input SVs are references, integers (IVs) or floats (NVs), the SvCUR macro will return an invalid length if it is run before the input is stringified, leading to an out-of-bounds read which can abort the process. Note that the evaluation order of arguments to std::string is unspecified. Depending on the compiler, SvCUR may be run first and lead to an abort that cannot be caught within Perl. This can be triggered when the haystack is a numeric value, for example, my $ac = Algorithm::AhoCorasick::XS->new( [ "11", "22" ] ); $ac->matches( 211 ); This can occur when the haystack is the result of reading data from decoded JSON or a numeric database column. It can also be triggered when using a blessed object as a haystack.

Sep 16, 2026oras-go is a Go library for managing OCI artifacts.CVE-2026-85732 · Other software · oras-project · reported by GitHubMedium 4.7
oras-go is a Go library for managing OCI artifacts. Prior to 2.6.2, the parseLink function in registry/remote/utils.go accepts an absolute URL from a registry-controlled Link response header without validating its scheme, host, or port. Tags, Referrers, and Repositories pagination operations then issue a GET request to the attacker-selected URL from the victim's network, allowing blind server-side request forgery against internal services. The response body is not returned to the attacker, but timing and error differences can reveal service reachability, and credentials may be attached when the credential store has an entry for the target host. Exploitation requires a victim to perform a pagination-based listing operation against a malicious registry. The maintainer identifies this report as a duplicate of GHSA-3hr5-mjrr-hfjh and states that remediation is consolidated in that earlier advisory. The consolidated issue is fixed in version 2.6.2.

Sep 16, 2026oras-go is a Go library for managing OCI artifacts.CVE-2026-85731 · Other software · oras-project · reported by GitHubHigh 8.8
oras-go is a Go library for managing OCI artifacts. Prior to 2.6.2, content/file.Store extraction of OCI layers marked with io.deis.oras.content.unpack=true can write outside the store working directory. The pushDir path through extractTarDirectory and ensureLinkPath validates symlink targets lexically, resolveRelToBase skips its parent-symlink walk for root-level entries, and writeFile follows a terminal symlink when opening a regular file. A malicious archive can therefore create a symlink chain whose lexical target remains inside the extraction root but whose resolved target is an attacker-selected absolute path, then overwrite that target with a same-named regular-file entry even when AllowPathTraversalOnWrite is false. Pulling an attacker-controlled artifact can create or overwrite any file writable by the process and may lead to code execution. This issue is fixed in version 2.6.2.

Aug 25, 2026ORAS (OCI Registry As Storage) is a CLI and library for managing artifacts in OCI registries.CVE-2026-55588 · Other software · oras-project · reported by GitHubMedium 6.5
ORAS (OCI Registry As Storage) is a CLI and library for managing artifacts in OCI registries. In ORAS CLI versions up to and including 1.3.2, the recursive referrer traversal does not track visited descriptors, so a malicious OCI registry that returns a cyclic referrer graph causes unbounded recursion and memory growth. This affects oras discover, whose recursive traversal is enabled by default because the --depth option defaults to 0 (unlimited), as well as the recursive referrer counting used by the oras backup and oras restore workflows. A cyclic graph can be as simple as A referring to B and B referring back to A. A malicious registry can use this to cause a client-side denial of service, exhausting CPU and memory and hanging automation or CI/CD pipelines that run ORAS against untrusted registry metadata. The vulnerability does not extend to code execution, artifact substitution, or integrity bypass. This issue has been fixed in version 1.3.3.

Aug 13, 2026Perl versions from 5.9.4 before 5.41.9 produce incorrect regular expression match results when a stale failure flag ends the Aho-Corasick prescan early in S_finCVE-2026-19487 · Other software · reported by 9b29abf9-4ab0-4765-b253-1875cd9b441eMedium 5.3
Perl versions from 5.9.4 before 5.41.9 produce incorrect regular expression match results when a stale failure flag ends the Aho-Corasick prescan early in S_find_byclass. The prescan walks the subject for positions where the full pattern could match, and the engine tries it from the leftmost one recorded. A failing transition sets the failed flag, and a later successful transition does not clear it, so the prescan reads the stale flag as a failure and stops before it can record a candidate that starts earlier. It takes a subject where one candidate is recorded and a later character then forces a fallback through a fail link that succeeds. Example: "ABCDE" =~ m/ABCF|BCDE|C/; # matches C at offset 2, not BCDE "ABCDE" =~ m/ABCF|BCDE|C(G)/; # no match, BCDE missed An alternation like this can miss input it should match, or match it on the wrong branch, so an access or filtering decision made from the result can be wrong.

Jul 17, 2026oras-go is a Go library for managing OCI artifacts.CVE-2026-50163 · Other software · oras-project · reported by GitHubHigh 7.1
oras-go is a Go library for managing OCI artifacts. Prior to 2.6.2, ensureLinkPath in content/file/utils.go:262-275 validates a hardlink target relative to the extract base but returns the unresolved target, causing os.Link("victim.secret", "<extract_base>/payload.tar.gz/evil_cwd_link") to resolve header.Linkname against the process current working directory for a Typeflag=TypeLink entry such as Name=payload.tar.gz/evil_cwd_link and Linkname="victim.secret" with io.deis.oras.content.unpack: "true", which can expose or tamper with files such as .env, .git/config, .aws/credentials, and ~/.ssh/config. This issue is fixed in version 2.6.2.

Jul 17, 2026oras-go is a Go library for managing OCI artifacts.CVE-2026-50162 · Other software · oras-project · reported by GitHubMedium 6.9
oras-go is a Go library for managing OCI artifacts. Prior to 2.6.1, resolveWritePath() in content/file/file.go uses a lexical filepath.Rel check for workingDir and does not account for symlink traversal, so when AllowPathTraversalOnWrite=false an attacker-controlled blob title through ocispec.AnnotationTitle such as out/pwn.txt can follow a workingDir symlink out -> /some/outside/dir and cause pushFile() to create /some/outside/dir/pwn.txt outside workingDir. This issue is fixed in version 2.6.1.

Jul 17, 2026oras-go is a Go library for managing OCI artifacts.CVE-2026-50151 · Other software · oras-project · reported by GitHubHigh 7.5
oras-go is a Go library for managing OCI artifacts. Prior to 2.6.1, registry/remote/repository.go in blobStore.completePushAfterInitialPost follows a registry-controlled Location header during monolithic blob upload and reuses the Authorization header from the initial POST request for the subsequent PUT request, allowing a malicious registry to return a cross-host Location and receive the caller's credentials at an attacker-controlled endpoint. This issue is fixed in version 2.6.1.

Jul 17, 2026oras-go is a Go library for managing OCI artifacts.CVE-2026-48978 · Other software · oras-project · reported by GitHubLow 2.1
oras-go is a Go library for managing OCI artifacts. Prior to 2.6.1, auth.Client follows the realm URL from a registry's WWW-Authenticate: Bearer challenge without validating the scheme or host, allowing a malicious or compromised registry to cause SSRF to internal networks such as http://169.254.169.254/, http://10.0.0.x/, and http://127.0.0.1/, or to downgrade a registry contacted over https:// to an http:// token endpoint in registry/remote/auth/client.go through Client.Do(), Client.fetchBearerToken(), fetchDistributionToken, and fetchOAuth2Token. This issue is fixed in version 2.6.1.

Mar 16, 2026Pigeon is a message board/notepad/social system/blog.CVE-2026-32616 · Other software · kasuganosoras · reported by GitHubHigh 8.2
Pigeon is a message board/notepad/social system/blog. Prior to 1.0.201, the application uses $_SERVER['HTTP_HOST'] without validation to construct email verification URLs in the register and resendmail flows. An attacker can manipulate the Host header in the HTTP request, causing the verification link sent to the user's email to point to an attacker-controlled domain. This can lead to account takeover by stealing the email verification token. This vulnerability is fixed in 1.0.201.

Jan 25, 2021ORAS is open source software which enables a way to push OCI Artifacts to OCI Conformant registries.CVE-2021-21272 · Other software · deislabs · reported by GitHubHigh 7.7
ORAS is open source software which enables a way to push OCI Artifacts to OCI Conformant registries. ORAS is both a CLI for initial testing and a Go Module. In ORAS from version 0.4.0 and before version 0.9.0, there is a "zip-slip" vulnerability. The directory support feature allows the downloaded gzipped tarballs to be automatically extracted to the user-specified directory where the tarball can have symbolic links and hard links. A well-crafted tarball or tarballs allow malicious artifact providers linking, writing, or overwriting specific files on the host filesystem outside of the user-specified directory unexpectedly with the same permissions as the user who runs `oras pull`. Users of the affected versions are impacted if they are `oras` CLI users who runs `oras pull`, or if they are Go programs, which invoke `github.com/deislabs/oras/pkg/content.FileStore`. The problem has been fixed in version 0.9.0. For `oras` CLI users, there is no workarounds other than pulling from a trusted artifact provider. For `oras` package users, the workaround is to not use `github.com/deislabs/oras/pkg/content.FileStore`, and use other content stores instead, or pull from a trusted artifact provi
