Incorrect operator (CWE-480) in the FetchSnapshot RPC handler in Apache Kafka from 2.8.0 before 4.2.2, and from 4.3.0 before 4.3.2 on all platforms allows an authenticated attacker with CLUSTER_ACTION privilege to cause a denial of service (controller process termination) via a crafted FetchSnapshotRequest with an empty topics array or a topic with no partitions. Users are recommended to upgrade to version 4.2.2, 4.3.2, or 4.4.0, which fix this issue. Users on unsupported branches (4.1.x and earlier) should upgrade to 4.2.2 or later.

In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: tracing: Check operator stack capacity before pushing predicate_parse() uses the first operator stack entry before processing any opening parentheses. A push then increments top before writing. The existing check still permits that write when top already points to the last allocated entry, which can access beyond the operator stack. Reject the push when top reaches the last allocated entry.

  • Oct 27, 2026In Eclipse ioFog Operator versions 3.8.0 before 3.9.2, TLS certificate verification is disabled when the operator contacts the Controller API and when it logs iCVE-2026-115216 · Other software · Eclipse Foundation · reported by emo@eclipse.orgCritical 9.1

In Eclipse ioFog Operator versions 3.8.0 before 3.9.2, TLS certificate verification is disabled when the operator contacts the Controller API and when it logs in to an external OIDC issuer. An on-path attacker can present any certificate, capture the OAuth client secret (external mode) or the Controller bootstrap admin password (embedded mode with Controller HTTPS enabled), and supply the access token the operator stores for later Controller API calls. v3.8 removed Keycloak. In apache-airflow-providers-ssh before 7.0.1, SSHRemoteJobOperator quoted the values of its templated `environment` parameter only once, although they are placed inside an already-quoted wrapper script, so shell syntax such as `$(...)` in a value was executed on the remote SSH host. In a Dag that passes trigger-time input such as `params` or `dag_run.conf` into `environment`, a user who can trigger that Dag but cannot author Dags could run arbitrary commands on the remote host as the SSH connection's user. • Oct 26, 2026Burrito is a Terraform Automation Collaboration Software (TACoS) Kubernetes operator.CVE-2026-102649 · Other software · padok-team · reported by GitHubCritical 9.9

Burrito is a Terraform Automation Collaboration Software (TACoS) Kubernetes operator. Prior to 0.13.0, `POST /api/webhook` accepts unsigned GitHub and GitLab events when a `TerraformRepository`'s credentials omit `webhookSecret` or set it to an empty value, including credentials configured for git authentication and polling. `Credential.WebhookSecret` is optional, and `go-playground/webhooks` skips signature or token verification when the secret is empty. Anyone who can reach `burrito-server`'s endpoint and knows a tracked repository's URL can forge events to create or delete `TerraformPullRequest` custom resources with attacker-chosen `Branch`, `Base`, and `ID` fields. For GitHub `pull_request` events, the controller fetches changed files using the real pull request number but does not cross-check the payload's branch against that pull request. Pairing a real, existing pull request number with an unrelated existing branch in the same repository can therefore cause an unauthorized `terraform plan` for affected layers using the operator's stored git and cloud credentials. Code analysis also indicates that the resulting plan can be posted to the real pull request's comment thread, ex

  • Oct 26, 2026A flaw was found in the Infinispan Operator for Red Hat Data Grid.CVE-2026-92171 · Other software · Red Hat · reported by Red HatMedium 6.5

A flaw was found in the Infinispan Operator for Red Hat Data Grid. When cross-site (xsite) TLS is enabled, the operator launches the Gossip Router container with keystore and truststore passwords passed as plain-text command-line arguments (`-tls_keystore_password`, `-tls_truststore_password`). Container args are stored in the Pod spec and visible to any principal with `get pods` permission in the namespace (no `get secrets` required), to node-level processes via `/proc/<pid>/cmdline`, and frequently captured in audit/event logs.

In Eclipse ioFog Controller versions 3.8.0 through 3.9.1, operator WebSocket upgrades on the exec and log routes do not verify the bearer JWT. The payload is decoded and its groups or roles are used as RBAC subjects. A self-minted token whose groups contain admin matches the built-in admin role, with no account and no RoleBinding. The attacker can open an exec or log session for a microservice or fog whose UUID they already know. HTTP routes are not affected: they verify the token before RBAC. Apache CXF's FIQL query parser has a vulnerability in how it searches for operators in query expressions. The search pattern can get stuck trying many combinations when it encounters a long string without an operator, causing the parser to consume excessive CPU time. An attacker can send a crafted query to make the server use up CPU resources, potentially slowing down or stopping other requests. The fix was to limit FIQL expressions to 4 KiB by default, preventing attackers from sending extremely long inputs while still allowing normal queries. • Oct 5, 2026A flaw was found in the HyperShift operator.CVE-2026-101919 · Other software · Red Hat · reported by Red HatHigh 8.8

A flaw was found in the HyperShift operator. The operator copies user-provided Kubernetes configuration (kubeconfig) secrets directly into the privileged control plane namespace without proper validation or sanitization. An authenticated user with cluster and secret creation permissions can exploit this vulnerability by supplying a configuration containing unauthorized executable plugins. When downstream controllers consume this configuration, an attacker can achieve arbitrary code execution within the control plane.

  • Oct 2, 2026The postgresql-operator charm runs a Prometheus postgres_exporter to collect database metrics using a dedicated "monitoring" PostgreSQL user.CVE-2026-104055 · Other software · Canonical · reported by security@ubuntu.comMedium 5.3

The postgresql-operator charm runs a Prometheus postgres_exporter to collect database metrics using a dedicated "monitoring" PostgreSQL user. On database connection errors, the exporter writes the monitoring user's password in cleartext to its logs. Any actor able to read those logs can recover the password, which grants read-only pg_monitor access to PostgreSQL. This is fixed in the dev track (14/edge) in revisions 1189 (arm64) and 1190 (amd64), and in the stable track (14/stable) in revisions 1216 (arm64) and 1217 (amd64).

In Bouncy Castle for Java before 1.86, NTRU reduced secret values with the % operator in three helpers whose reference implementations are deliberately division-free, so each reduction was carried out by an integer division whose latency depends on the secret operand. Polynomial.modQ divided by a variable divisor, which a compiler cannot strength-reduce to a multiply the way it can a constant one, so it emitted a division on every call including on the decapsulation path where the dividend derives from the private key; Polynomial.mod3 and NTRUSampling.mod3 divided the secret key polynomials f and g during key generation, the message polynomials r and m during encapsulation, and coefficients recovered during decapsulation. An attacker able to measure that timing can recover information about the NTRU private key. modQ now masks, which is exact because q is always a power of two, and mod3 uses the reference implementation's division-free fold and select; the results are unchanged.

Sliver C2 framework version 1.7.7 and earlier contains an unhandled panic vulnerability in the operator gRPC handler that allows an attacker controlling a compromised implant to crash the entire teamserver by returning a malformed or empty Download response. Attackers can send zero-length or 1-3 byte data payloads through a hostile implant session to trigger an out-of-bounds slice access in the vendored Binject library's BinaryMagic function, which propagates unrecovered through the operator gRPC interceptor chain and terminates the server process, affecting all connected operators.

  • Sep 25, 2026OpenClaw (npm package 'openclaw') before 2026.8.1 fails to revoke memory tool access when an operator hot-disables memory configuration.CVE-2026-100539 · Other software · OpenClaw · reported by VulnCheckLow 2.1

OpenClaw (npm package 'openclaw') before 2026.8.1 fails to revoke memory tool access when an operator hot-disables memory configuration. Existing memory_search and memory_get tool instances retain the enabled configuration captured at creation time because the execution-time resolver treats explicit disablement like an unavailable configuration snapshot and restores the stale authority. As a result, during an already-running agent turn the model can continue searching and reading durable memory after the operator revoked that access, for the remainder of that run. Exploitation requires memory to be disabled while a previously created memory tool remains active. The issue is fixed in 2026.8.1.

The OpenClaw Prometheus diagnostics plugin (@openclaw/diagnostics-prometheus) before version 2026.9.3 does not enforce the operator.read scope on its authenticated metrics endpoint. In deployments using an identity-bearing Gateway authentication mode such as trusted-proxy, a caller whose effective role has no read scope can retrieve the diagnostics document even though ordinary read methods reject the same identity, disclosing operational metrics to an authenticated profile intentionally limited below read access. Shared-secret Gateway callers already hold the documented full operator scope and are not affected. The issue is fixed in 2026.9.3; as a workaround, disable the Prometheus endpoint or ensure every identity that can reach it is intended to hold operator.read.
