Every flaw the U.S. government’s cybersecurity agency (CISA) has confirmed attackers are using, plus the new WordPress plugin and theme bugs published each day, sorted by what they mean for a small business. We refresh it twice a day. If you see something your website or office runs, tell us.

Oct 16, 2026Open Zaak is an open-source data and services layer for Dutch case-oriented working.CVE-2026-55836 · Other software · open-zaak · reported by GitHubMedium 6.8
Open Zaak is an open-source data and services layer for Dutch case-oriented working. From 1.13.0 until 1.27.2, 1.28.2, and 1.29.0, _import_document_row in src/openzaak/components/documenten/tasks.py uses the attacker-controlled bestandspad CSV field without ensuring that the resolved path remains under IMPORT_DOCUMENTEN_BASE_DIR. A client with an all-authorizations application token can supply an absolute or parent-traversal path to a file readable by the Celery service account. The worker copies that file into document storage, allowing its contents to be retrieved through the normal document download API and exposing server secrets or other private files. This issue is fixed in versions 1.27.2, 1.28.2, and 1.29.0.

Oct 16, 2026Open Zaak is an open-source data and services layer for Dutch case-oriented working.CVE-2026-54657 · Other software · open-zaak · reported by GitHubMedium 6.5
Open Zaak is an open-source data and services layer for Dutch case-oriented working. From 1.0.0 until 1.27.2, 1.28.2, and 1.29.0, the POST search endpoints /zaken/api/v1/zaken/_zoek and /documenten/api/v1/enkelvoudiginformatieobjecten/_zoek do not filter result querysets according to the authorizations associated with the request token. A caller with a valid zaken.lezen or documenten.lezen token can therefore retrieve case or document metadata outside the token's authorized types or confidentiality levels. Document searches require known UUIDs, and document content remains protected by separate download authorization. This issue is fixed in versions 1.27.2, 1.28.2, and 1.29.0.

Dec 18, 2020Open Zaak is a modern, open-source data- and services-layer to enable zaakgericht werken, a Dutch approach to case management.CVE-2020-26251 · Other software · open-zaak · reported by GitHubMedium 4.7
Open Zaak is a modern, open-source data- and services-layer to enable zaakgericht werken, a Dutch approach to case management. In Open Zaak before version 1.3.3 the Cross-Origin-Resource-Sharing policy in Open Zaak is currently wide open - every client is allowed. This allows evil.com to run scripts that perform AJAX calls to known Open Zaak installations, and the browser will not block these. This was intended to only apply to development machines running on localhost/127.0.0.1. Open Zaak 1.3.3 disables CORS by default, while it can be opted-in through environment variables. The vulnerability does not actually seem exploitable because: a) The session cookie has a `Same-Site: Lax` policy which prevents it from being sent along in Cross-Origin requests. b) All pages that give access to (production) data are login-protected c) `Access-Control-Allow-Credentials` is set to `false` d) CSRF checks probably block the remote origin, since they're not explicitly added to the trusted allowlist.

Where this comes from: the exploited list is CISA’s Known Exploited Vulnerabilities catalog. Everything else is the whole National Vulnerability Database, where each record is published by the team that found the bug (Wordfence, Patchstack, WPScan, the vendors themselves and others); we show who. Exploit odds are FIRST’s EPSS, updated daily. Titles and categories are ours, so check the linked record before acting on a detail. For a write-up of the big ones, see our advisories. Every vendor, and every WordPress plugin and theme with a recorded flaw, also has its own page. All of it is free to reuse as JSON, CSV or RSS.
