  • Oct 28, 2026A user with read access to Grafana's server logs, or to a log store they are shipped to, can recover the OAuth and OIDC access, refresh and ID tokens of users wCVE-2026-79656 · Other software · Grafana · reported by security@grafana.comMedium 6

A user with read access to Grafana's server logs, or to a log store they are shipped to, can recover the OAuth and OIDC access, refresh and ID tokens of users who sign in through the Generic OAuth, Google or GitLab providers. Grafana writes these tokens to its logs unredacted when an access or ID token is not a valid JWT, when the ID token is missing (at debug level) or is not a string (exposure of sensitive information in log files). The exposure is bounded by the scopes granted to the configured OAuth client.

  • Oct 28, 2026identrail is a machine identity security platform for AWS, GitHub/OIDC, and Kubernetes.CVE-2026-59185 · Other software · identrail · reported by GitHubHigh 8.5

identrail is a machine identity security platform for AWS, GitHub/OIDC, and Kubernetes. Prior to 1.0.2, the default-on `POST /v1/workspaces/:workspace_id/projects/:project_id/github/connect/complete` endpoint in `internal/api/router.go` accepts `installation_id` from the request body or `X-GitHub-Installation-ID` header without verifying the installation belongs to the caller's workspace. `CompleteGitHubConnection` in `internal/api/github_connect.go` rigorously binds `state` to the caller's tenant, workspace, and project, but checks only that the installation ID is positive before persisting it as the caller's connection. `ListInstallationRepositories` in `internal/connectors/github/repositories.go` invokes token creation through `internal/connectors/github/app.go` and `POST /app/installations/{installationId}/access_tokens`, using the application's JWT. An authenticated tenant who starts a legitimate connection can supply another customer's non-secret installation ID to read the victim organization's private repository inventory, content, and metadata or drive posture scans, provided identrail's GitHub App is installed there. • Oct 27, 2026In affected versions of Octopus Server, OIDC token issuer validation was performed inconsistently.CVE-2026-116870 · Other software · Octopus Deploy · reported by security@octopus.comHigh 8.7

In affected versions of Octopus Server, OIDC token issuer validation was performed inconsistently. This could result in a token issued from a suitably configured non legitimate issuer being accepted as a token belonging to a service account from a legitimate trusted issuer. Exploitation requires a service account with at least one OIDC identity configured. An attacker would also need to know or guess some details of that identity in order to be in a position to attempt exploitation.

PIA's token verification (`verify_token` in `pia/oidc.py`) fetches the OIDC discovery document of an allowlisted issuer and then follows the `jwks_uri` contained in that response without parsing it as a URL, comparing it against the approved issuer's origin, or requiring HTTPS — the only check is that the field is non-empty (`pia/oidc.py:42-52`). An approved identity provider — and every registered per-project Jenkins instance under `https://ci.eclipse.org/<project>/oidc` is a separate such party (`pia/models.py`) — can therefore direct PIA to issue a GET request to an arbitrary host and port, including over plaintext `http`, from PIA's own network position. The fetch happens before any signature is verified, as a side effect of an unauthenticated `POST /v1/upload/sbom` request that is ultimately rejected with 401.

Insufficient verification of data authenticity (CWE-345) in the external OIDC login callback in Cloud Foundry UAA v4.5.0 to v79.6.0 (inclusive) allows an authenticated UAA user to bypass the OAuth authorization-code exchange and establish an authenticated external-OIDC browser session, via submitting a UAA access token or a cross-client ID token as the callback’s id_token parameter. The issue only manifests when a UAA zone is configured with an OIDC identity provider whose issuer exactly matches that zone’s own /oauth/token endpoint (a “self-UAA” OIDC configuration). In this configuration, the callback takes a supplied id_token directly instead of requiring the authorization code exchange, and does not verify that the token was actually issued as an ID token for the specific self-OIDC relying-party client. An attacker holding any valid UAA JWT for themselves — including a plain access token with only uaa.user scope, or a valid ID token issued to an unrelated client such as cf — can present it as the callback’s id_token and be authenticated into a mapped local (“shadow”) account. Because the resulting session is not verified against the originating token’s true audience or user_i

  • Sep 26, 2026Budibase versions 3.41.0 before 3.45.0 contain an authentication bypass in the OIDC/SSO login path of @budibase/server.CVE-2026-100684 · Other software · budibase · reported by VulnCheckCritical 9.2

Budibase versions 3.41.0 before 3.45.0 contain an authentication bypass in the OIDC/SSO login path of @budibase/server. In sso.authenticate, when no existing user matches the incoming SSO subject, the server looks up pending user invites by the IdP-asserted email address alone — without validating an invite code and without an email_verified check (the email_verified gate protects only the existing-account lookup). An attacker who can register at an IdP that the tenant trusts for OIDC and assert a victim's invited email address (even with email_verified=false) claims the pending invite and inherits all of its granted privileges, including builder and admin.global, with no admin exclusion. This results in takeover of the invited principal and, for admin invites, full tenant compromise (access to all apps, datasources including production credentials, and automations); the invite is consumed, denying onboarding to the legitimate invitee.

A flaw was found in the OIDC protocol implementation of Keycloak, an open-source identity and access management solution. The issue occurs during the token refresh process when the server restores requested audiences from stored client IDs. Keycloak fails to verify if the target audience client is still enabled before issuing a new access token. • Sep 15, 2026Vouch Proxy is an SSO and OAuth/OIDC login solution for Nginx using the auth_request module.CVE-2026-55149 · Other software · vouch · reported by GitHubHigh 7.5

Vouch Proxy is an SSO and OAuth/OIDC login solution for Nginx using the auth_request module. Prior to 0.48.0, Cookie in pkg/cookie/cookie.go parses the total part count from an attacker-controlled multipart cookie name and passes the value to make([]string, numParts) without checking that the value is positive or reasonably bounded. Requests to /validate and /_external-auth-:id reach JWTCacheHandler in pkg/jwtmanager/jwtcache.go, FindJWT in pkg/jwtmanager/jwtmanager.go, and the vulnerable cookie reassembly before JWT validation, so no account or valid session is required. A cookie name such as VouchCookie_1of10000000000 causes an attempted slice allocation of roughly 160 GB and a fatal Go runtime out-of-memory condition, allowing one request to crash the authentication proxy and repeated requests to sustain unavailability. This vulnerability is fixed in 0.48.0.

  • Aug 29, 2026Improper Verification of Cryptographic Signature vulnerability in erlef oidcc allows an unauthenticated attacker to impersonate an arbitrary user via an encryptCVE-2026-75759 · Other software · erlef · reported by 6b3ad84c-e1a6-4bf7-a703-f496b71e49dbHigh 7.6

Improper Verification of Cryptographic Signature vulnerability in erlef oidcc allows an unauthenticated attacker to impersonate an arbitrary user via an encrypted ID token or JARM response carrying no nested signature. OpenID Connect Core 1.0 section 2 requires that an encrypted ID token be signed then encrypted, with the result being a Nested JWT, and JARM processing rule 5 requires the client to check the signature unconditionally. oidcc instead accepted a JWE wrapping unsigned claims as fully validated, so anyone holding the relying party's public encryption key could mint a token with an arbitrary sub, iss, and aud without possessing the provider's signing key. In oidcc_jwt_util:verify_decrypted_token/4, a decrypted payload that is not a signed JWS fell back to parsing the plaintext claims and returning them with no verifying key. oidcc_token:int_validate_jwt/4 then matched on the JOSE structure type rather than on whether a signature had been verified, and returned success. The JARM path in oidcc_token:validate_jarm/3 is reachable through the browser front channel. UserInfo responses are not affected, because OpenID Connect Core 1.0 section 5.3.2 permits them to be encrypted

Fulcio is a certificate authority for issuing code signing certificates for an OpenID Connect (OIDC) identity. Versions through 1.8.5 improperly follow cross-host redirects and attach Kubernetes ServiceAccount tokens during OIDC discovery, allowing a malicious or compromised issuer to perform blind SSRF, substitute and cache malicious JWKS keys, or disclose ServiceAccount tokens to external hosts. Version 1.8.6 blocks cross-host redirects, restricts token injection, and restricts local token loading. No known workarounds are available.

When Velociraptor is configured to use an OIDC IdP for authentication, it uses the email claim as a username. However, some IdP allow users to change the email claim without verification. Some IdPs do not set the "email_verified" claim and do not actually verify the email. This allows a user to impersonate another user by setting their email address within the IdP, allowing account takeover.

  • Aug 9, 2026A vulnerability was found in lmammino oidc-authorizer up to 0.4.0.CVE-2026-19363 · Other software · lmammino · reported by VulDBMedium 5.5

A vulnerability was found in lmammino oidc-authorizer up to 0.4.0. Impacted is an unknown function of the file src/handler.rs of the component Lambda Authorizer. The manipulation results in sensitive information in log files. The attack can be executed remotely. `src/handler.rs` logs raw Authorization header values and complete bearer tokens/JWTs on authentication failure paths, potentially exposing credentials through CloudWatch Logs. `src/models.rs` serializes the complete validated JWT claims set with `serde_json::to_string(token_claims).unwrap()` and propagates it through `context["jwtClaims"]` to downstream integrations. This code performs serialization, not deserialization, and does not process attacker-controlled `jwtClaims` input. The exploit has been made public and could be used. The vendor was contacted early about this disclosure but did not respond in any way.

Cross-Site Request Forgery vulnerability in Erlang Ecosystem Foundation oidcc_plug (Oidcc.Plug.AuthorizationCallback module) allows an attacker to make a victim's browser complete an authorization flow the victim never initiated. This vulnerability is associated with program file lib/oidcc/plug/authorization_callback.ex and program routine Oidcc.Plug.AuthorizationCallback.call/2. A callback request that carries no Oidcc.Plug.Authorize session is processed with every security check disabled rather than being rejected. call/2 substitutes permissive defaults for the absent session, and each downstream check treats its value as nothing to compare and returns :ok, so the nonce, state, PKCE, peer IP and user agent checks are all skipped. A separate clause of check_state/2 also accepts a state-less request when a verifier is present. An attacker obtains an authorization code for their own provider account, then induces the victim to visit the callback endpoint with that code and no state parameter. The application signs the victim in as the attacker, so the victim's subsequent actions occur in the attacker's account where the attacker can read them. Applications reusing one callback fo

Improper Handling of Case Sensitivity vulnerability in Erlang Ecosystem Foundation oidcc_plug (Oidcc.Plug.Authorize module) renders the user agent session binding inert, removing a defense in depth control against replay of a stolen session. This vulnerability is associated with program files lib/oidcc/plug/authorize.ex and lib/oidcc/plug/authorization_callback.ex, and program routines Oidcc.Plug.Authorize.call/2 and Oidcc.Plug.AuthorizationCallback.call/2. Oidcc.Plug.Authorize.call/2 reads the initiating client's user agent with get_req_header(conn, "User-Agent"). Plug lowercases incoming header names, but get_req_header/2 matches the supplied key exactly and performs no normalization of its own, so the mixed-case lookup always returns an empty list and nil is written into the session. On the callback side, Oidcc.Plug.AuthorizationCallback treats a stored nil user agent as nothing to compare and returns :ok without inspecting the request. The two behaviours combine so that the check passes unconditionally on every request, including for deployments that explicitly opted in with check_useragent: true, and an authorization callback can be completed from a different user agent than

A flaw was found in the keycloak-services component of Keycloak, which handles OpenID Connect (OIDC) authentication flows. The issue occurs because the security check designed to prevent HTTP parameter pollution only inspects the query portion of a redirect URL and ignores the fragment portion. When a client is configured with a wildcard redirect URI, an attacker can use this to inject duplicate security parameters into the login response. If a client application is not configured correctly, it might trust the attacker's injected data instead of the real security information from Keycloak, leading to session fixation or account confusion.

  • Jul 31, 2026A flaw was found in the OIDC token introspection endpoint of the keycloak-services component.CVE-2026-18208 · Other software · Red Hat · reported by Red HatMedium 6.5

A flaw was found in the OIDC token introspection endpoint of the keycloak-services component. Keycloak is an open-source identity and access management solution used to secure modern applications and services. The issue occurs when a confidential client, configured to receive signed JWT introspection responses, attempts to introspect a token issued for a different audience. Although the endpoint correctly identifies the token as inactive for that client, it still returns the full set of token claims within a signed JWT field. This allows an unauthorized client to bypass audience-based restrictions and access sensitive information contained in the token.

  • Jul 22, 2026OIDC::Lite versions through 0.12.1 for Perl allow ID Token signature verification bypass via a token-controlled algorithm allowlist in verify.CVE-2026-13089 · Other software · RITOU · reported by 9b29abf9-4ab0-4765-b253-1875cd9b441eHigh 7.5

OIDC::Lite versions through 0.12.1 for Perl allow ID Token signature verification bypass via a token-controlled algorithm allowlist in verify. When the caller does not pin an algorithm, OIDC::Lite::Model::IDToken::verify sets $self->alg($self->header->{alg}) from the token's own header and then calls decode_jwt(token, key, 1, [$self->alg]), handing JSON::WebToken an accepted-algorithm allowlist taken from the untrusted token. A token with alg=none yields ['none'], so decode_jwt returns the claims with no signature check, and a token with alg=HS256 is verified with the RP's RSA public key as the HMAC secret (RS to HS confusion). The ID Token is the OpenID Connect authentication assertion delivered to the Relying Party. Any caller that verifies an ID Token through the unpinned load(token)->verify path, or load(token, key) with only the key pinned, accepts a forged token carrying attacker-chosen claims such as sub and is authenticated as any user. Passing an explicit algorithm so $self->alg is already set bypasses the header-derived allowlist and is not affected. Note that the latest version uploaded to CPAN is 0.10. Later versions are available in the git repository.
