  • Oct 28, 2026When the `allowed_scopes` configuration is enabled, the OAuth2 token introspection mechanism does not immediately invalidate a token in the cache after a revocaCVE-2026-3583 · Other software · WSO2 · reported by ed10eef1-636d-4fbe-9993-6890dfa878f8Low 3.1

When the `allowed_scopes` configuration is enabled, the OAuth2 token introspection mechanism does not immediately invalidate a token in the cache after a revocation request. This results in a scenario where an access token that was introspected immediately before a revocation request may be returned again to the client after revocation, until the relevant cache entry is cleared. The security consequence is that a revoked access token may be re-issued to the client during the cache lifetime. While the re-issued token is not treated as valid for API authorization, affected users may be unable to obtain a new valid access token until the cache is cleared, which can disrupt authentication flows.

  • Oct 19, 2026@fastify/oauth2 is a Fastify wrapper for OAuth2 login flows.CVE-2026-110008 · Other software · @fastify/oauth2 · reported by ce714d77-add3-4f53-aff5-83d477b104bbMedium 4.2

@fastify/oauth2 is a Fastify wrapper for OAuth2 login flows. In versions 7.2.0 through 8.3.1, the state and code-verifier cookies are set without a Path attribute at a login route with two or more path segments, while the clearing step at the OAuth callback writes them with a root path, so the original cookies survive the callback and the documented single-use guarantee for the state value does not hold. A state value an attacker learns stays valid for the rest of the browser session, letting the attacker drive their own authorization flow in the victim's browser and sign the victim in to the attacker's account (login CSRF). The issue is fixed in @fastify/oauth2 8.3.2, and users should upgrade to 8.3.2 or later. As a workaround, set an explicit cookie path so the set and the clear name the same cookie.

Improper enforcement of single-use authorization code semantics in the JPA OAuth2 authorization code grant provider in Apache CXFallows a remote attacker to obtain multiple valid access tokens from a single authorization code via concurrent token exchange requests that race the non-atomic find-then-delete operation against a shared relational database under READ_COMMITTED isolation. Gitea's OAuth2 and OpenID Connect sign-in paths do not require a WebAuthn challenge when WebAuthn is the account's only configured second factor. A party able to authenticate through the affected external identity flow can obtain a full session without the passkey verification enforced during password login. • Sep 27, 2026Nezha 2.2.3 contains a Host header injection regression in the OAuth2 redirect endpoint.CVE-2026-101090 · Other software · nezhahq · reported by VulnCheckCritical 9.3

Nezha 2.2.3 contains a Host header injection regression in the OAuth2 redirect endpoint. When the new optional dashboard_host setting is empty, /api/v1/oauth2/{provider} (cmd/dashboard/controller/oauth2.go) reflects the attacker-supplied HTTP Host header into the redirect_uri sent to the identity provider instead of falling back to the configured install_host. An attacker who induces a victim to begin OAuth2 login via a request that reaches Nezha with a forged Host header can cause an attacker-controlled callback URL to be used as the redirect_uri; if the OAuth2 provider accepts it, the victim's authorization code is delivered to the attacker origin, allowing the attacker to complete the OAuth2 login/binding flow and take over the account. This regresses the fix for GHSA-9rc6-8cjv-rcvx and is configuration-dependent (dashboard_host empty). At the time of the advisory no patched version was available.

Lemonldap::NG::Portal versions from 2.20.0 before 2.21.6, from 2.22.0 before 2.23.4 for Perl allow unauthenticated OAuth2 token introspection because checkEndPointAuthenticationCredentials does not verify the client secret of a public Relying Party. checkEndPointAuthenticationCredentials() skips the secret comparison for a Relying Party marked public and still returns the authentication method deduced from the request, client_secret_basic or client_secret_post. introspection() rejects a caller only when that method is missing or none, so a request carrying a public client_id and an arbitrary or empty secret passes the endpoint's authentication check. An attacker who holds an access token and knows the client_id of any public Relying Party can confirm the token is active and read its metadata, including scope, audience, expiry and the sub claim. The sub claim is computed with the calling Relying Party's user identifier attribute, so an attacker can translate a user identifier from one Relying Party to another, defeating per-client and pseudonymous identifiers.

  • Sep 17, 2026Improper Authentication vulnerability in team-alembic AshAuthentication allows an attacker to be signed in as another user by linking an OAuth2 identity to an aCVE-2026-88952 · Other software · team-alembic · reported by 6b3ad84c-e1a6-4bf7-a703-f496b71e49dbCritical 9.1

Improper Authentication vulnerability in team-alembic AshAuthentication allows an attacker to be signed in as another user by linking an OAuth2 identity to an account that is not theirs. AshAuthentication.Strategy.OAuth2.UserResolver.resolve/3 matches an existing account using the register action's upsert_identity keys, then gates linking the incoming provider identity to it on email_trusted?/2, which reads only the provider's email_verified boolean and never compares the provider's email value with the matched account's email. That gate assumes the account was matched by its email field, so under any other upsert_identity it is vacuous and an attacker presenting their own verified email is attached to, and issued a session for, an account matched on some other attribute. The same unguarded gate applies in OAuth2.SignInPreparation on the registration_enabled? false path, where the account is matched by the sign-in action's read filter instead. The upsert also rewrites the matched account's email to the attacker's address, so later account recovery reaches the attacker rather than the owner. Insufficient Session Expiration vulnerability in team-alembic AshAuthentication allows an attacker who obtains a victim's OAuth2 state value to replay the callback and sign that victim into an attacker-controlled account. AshAuthentication.Strategy.OAuth2.Plug.callback/2 clears the stored session_params through a rebinding step inside its with chain, conn <- delete_session(conn, session_key). Elixir evaluates the else block in the scope enclosing the with, so every failure path (the provider returning ?error=access_denied, an invalid code, a token-exchange error, or a registration or sign-in failure) reaches store_authentication_result/2 holding the original connection and the session entry is never removed. The value the module's own comment describes as protection against a CSRF-related attack is therefore consumed only when authentication succeeds, and survives a cancelled or failed attempt until the next request phase or session expiry. Improper Authentication vulnerability in ash-project ash_authentication_oauth2_server allows an unauthenticated attacker to register OAuth clients even when Dynamic Client Registration is gated by an initial access token. resolve_secret/3 in AshAuthentication.Oauth2Server (reached through __resolve_secret__!) treated any return other than {:ok, _} or :error from a configured {module, function, args} or 2-arity-function secret provider as a valid secret, wrapping nil, false, or "" as {:ok, value}. When the initial_access_token resolves to such an empty value, POST /oauth/register compares the presented bearer token against it and the comparison passes with no token supplied, so registration is open although it was configured closed. Server-Side Request Forgery (SSRF) vulnerability in ash-project ash_authentication_oauth2_server allows an attacker who controls a client metadata URL and its DNS to make the server connect to internal or loopback addresses. public_ip?/1 in AshAuthentication.Oauth2Server.CIMD.ReqFetcher enforces the outbound policy for CIMD metadata fetches. Improper Encoding or Escaping of Output vulnerability in ash-project ash_authentication_oauth2_server allows an unauthenticated attacker to inject arbitrary authentication parameters into the WWW-Authenticate challenge header. BearerPlug and RequireScopePlug built the Bearer resource_metadata="..." challenge by interpolating a resource_metadata URL derived from the request tenant directly into the quoted value. In a multi-tenant application that sets the Ash tenant from request-controlled data (a subdomain, the Host, a path segment, or a header), a tenant containing a " closes the quoted value and appends attacker-chosen auth-params, including a second resource_metadata URL pointing at an attacker-controlled authorization server that spec-following clients follow. Use of Cache Containing Sensitive Information vulnerability in ash-project ash_authentication_oauth2_server allows a shared HTTP cache to serve one tenant's OAuth discovery metadata to another tenant's clients. The RFC 8414 and RFC 9728 metadata endpoints in AshAuthentication.Phoenix.Oauth2Server.ProtocolRouter return tenant-specific values (issuer, authorization_endpoint, token_endpoint, jwks_uri) when a tenant is set, but sent them with Cache-Control: public, max-age=3600 and no Vary. When the tenant is derived from something other than the URL (a header or the Host) and a shared cache sits in front, the cache key is the URL alone, so a stored response for one tenant is served to another for up to an hour. Affected clients may then send authorization codes and secrets to the wrong tenant's token endpoint and validate tokens against the wrong keys. An attacker that holds a token intended for a different purpose can authenticate, because when an OAuth2 token response does not contain a scope claim, the audience claim is used in its place and checked against the configured required scopes. These are different concepts, and the audience claim does not describe what a token is allowed to do. A token that grants no relevant permissions can be accepted because its intended recipient value happens to match a configured scope name, granting access that should have been denied. It also hides an identity provider misconfiguration where scopes are not being issued at all. Ensure the identity provider issues a scope claim for all tokens used with Dovecot, and that configured scope names do not match audience values. Update to non-vulnerable version. • Aug 24, 2026OAuth2 Proxy honours a client-supplied X-Forwarded-Uri header when deciding whether a request may skip authentication, because the guard added for CVE-2026-4057CVE-2026-76835 · Other software · oauth2-proxy · reported by VulnCheckCritical 9.3

OAuth2 Proxy honours a client-supplied X-Forwarded-Uri header when deciding whether a request may skip authentication, because the guard added for CVE-2026-40575 is inert in the default reverse-proxy configuration. GetRequestURI in pkg/requests/util/util.go prefers that header over the real request URI whenever CanTrustForwardedHeaders returns true, and isAllowedPath in oauthproxy.go matches the skip_auth_routes and skip_auth_regex allow list against the resulting path. CanTrustForwardedHeaders in pkg/apis/middleware/scope.go grants that trust when the caller's address is in the trusted proxy set, and buildTrustedProxyNetSet falls back to defaultTrustedProxyIPs, which is 0.0.0.0/0 and ::/0, whenever reverse proxy mode is enabled without trusted_proxy_ip configured. Every client is therefore treated as a trusted proxy. An unauthenticated attacker can request a protected upstream path while setting X-Forwarded-Uri to a value matching an allow-listed route, so the skip-auth decision is made against the spoofed value while the upstream receives the protected path unchanged.

  • Aug 22, 2026Punk::OAuth2::Server versions through 0.03 for Perl issue access tokens outside a client's registered scopes and grant types because no authorization path readsCVE-2026-75866 · Other software · reported by 9b29abf9-4ab0-4765-b253-1875cd9b441eCritical 9.1

Punk::OAuth2::Server versions through 0.03 for Perl issue access tokens outside a client's registered scopes and grant types because no authorization path reads them. Punk::OAuth2::Server::Store registers scopes and grant_types per client and documents both as client registration. token dispatches on the grant_type in the request body, so a client registered for authorization_code alone can ask for client_credentials, and that arm passes the requested scope straight to the minter, which signs it into the at+jwt access token. authorize copies the query scope into the authorization code record without comparing it against the registration, leaving the optional consent hook as the only check between an arbitrary scope and the issued code. redirect_uris on the same client row is read and enforced. A registered client can obtain a correctly signed token carrying any scope it names, and a resource server running Punk::OAuth2::Checker accepts that token and honours the scope. A client registered without a secret authenticates on its client_id alone, so anyone who knows that identifier can request one.

n8n before 1.123.69, 2.33.4, and 2.34.1 contains an SSRF protection bypass in the OAuth2 credential authorization-code-to-access-token exchange. While OAuth2 discovery and dynamic-client-registration requests use n8n's SSRF-protected HTTP client, the token exchange uses a separate client with no SSRF guard. A user with credential-creation permissions can set the access-token URL to an internal address and complete the OAuth2 flow, causing n8n to send a fixed-shape token-exchange POST to that target and reflect its response body back to the attacker (limited to what the target returns to this specific request).

  • Aug 19, 2026Punk::OAuth2 versions before 0.03 for Perl allow an attacker-chosen off-site redirect after login because same_origin_path accepts a backslash or tab in the retCVE-2026-75628 · Other software · reported by 9b29abf9-4ab0-4765-b253-1875cd9b441eMedium 5.7

Punk::OAuth2 versions before 0.03 for Perl allow an attacker-chosen off-site redirect after login because same_origin_path accepts a backslash or tab in the return parameter. oauth2_login reads the return parameter from the initiation request, runs same_origin_path over it, and stores the survivor in the session flow record as the post-login redirect target. That check rejects a value that does not begin with a slash, one with a slash as its second byte, and one containing CR or LF. A backslash and a tab pass. The URL Standard treats a backslash as equivalent to a slash for special schemes, so `/\evil.example` parses with the authority `evil.example`. It also strips ASCII tab before parsing, so a tab between two leading slashes leaves `//evil.example`. A crafted link to the application's own login route lands the victim on the attacker's site after a genuine authentication. The redirect carries no authorization code or access token.

Lemonldap::NG::Portal versions from 2.0.0 before 2.16.9, from 2.17.0 before 2.21.5, from 2.22.0 before 2.23.3 for Perl allow authentication bypass via an OAuth2 state parameter stored as an SSO session in the GitHub and LinkedIn backends. Before redirecting to the identity provider, extractFormInfo() creates the state session with the positional call `getApacheSession( undef, 1, 0, 'GitHubState' )`. getApacheSession() takes a session id followed by a named argument hash, so the trailing arguments become that hash, `kind` defaults to SSO, and the state is written to the global session storage as a regular SSO session. Its identifier is handed to the unauthenticated visitor as the state parameter of the redirection URL. Any visitor who reaches the GitHub or LinkedIn endpoint can replay that identifier as a session cookie and obtain a valid SSO session without authenticating. The session holds neither _user nor authenticationLevel, which the shipped bootstrap configuration accepts because it grants virtual hosts a "default => accept" access rule; deployments whose rules test the user or require an authentication level are less exposed. Only configurations with the GitHub or LinkedIn

@fastify/oauth2 is an OAuth 2.0 plugin for Fastify. In versions from 7.2.0 up to but not including 8.3.0, the plugin validates the OAuth state, and with PKCE the code verifier, by comparing the callback query parameter against an unprefixed, predictable cookie, with no server-side binding to the browser that began the flow. Any party able to write a cookie for the application's host, such as a sibling subdomain under the same registrable domain, can plant matching state and verifier cookies and complete an attacker-owned OAuth flow inside a victim's browser, silently signing the victim in to the attacker's account (login CSRF). It does not expose the victim's own account, credentials, or tokens. The issue is fixed in @fastify/oauth2 8.3.0, which adds an opt-in hostPrefixedCookies option. Users should upgrade to 8.3.0 and enable it, or bind state to a server-side session.

  • Jul 11, 2026Lockme OAuth2 calendars integration: Stored Cross-Site ScriptingCVE-2026-3367 · WordPress plugins & themes · reported by WordfenceMedium 4.4

The Lockme OAuth2 calendars integration plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to Stored Cross-Site Scripting via the 'App ID' setting in all versions up to, and including, 2.11.0. This is due to insufficient input sanitization and output escaping. The register_setting() call on line 197 lacks a sanitize callback, allowing unsanitized data to be stored via update_option(). When the settings page is rendered, the stored value is echoed directly into an HTML input's value attribute without esc_attr() on line 212. This makes it possible for authenticated attackers, with administrator-level access and above, to inject arbitrary web scripts in the settings page that will execute whenever a user accesses the plugin settings page. Multiple fields are affected: App ID (client_id), App Secret (client_secret), Bookings ID prefix (id_prefix), and API domain (api_domain). This vulnerability is particularly impactful in WordPress multisite installations where administrators of individual sites should not be able to execute JavaScript affecting other users.
