  • Oct 28, 2026i18next-http-backend is a backend layer for i18next that loads translation resources in Node.js, browsers, and Deno.CVE-2026-118258 · Other software · i18next · reported by GitHubLow 3.7

i18next-http-backend is a backend layer for i18next that loads translation resources in Node.js, browsers, and Deno. Prior to 4.0.4, interpolateUrl inserts unencoded language and namespace values into loadPath or addPath templates without rejecting ampersand (&), equals (=), or semicolon (;) query separators. When a template places lng or ns in the query string and an attacker controls that value, the attacker can add or override parameters on browser or server-side translation requests, potentially exposing other namespaces or tenants or changing backend behavior through the application's network position and credentials. This vulnerability is the result of an incomplete fix for CVE-2026-41691. This issue is fixed in version 4.0.4.

In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: net/sched: cls_flower: validate mask pointer after nla_next() fl_set_enc_opt() iterates the key's nested tunnel-option attributes with nla_for_each_attr() while advancing a single mask pointer via nla_next() at the bottom of each loop, so the mask cursor is driven by the number of key attributes rather than by the mask's own attributes. The nla_ok() added by commit c96adff956191 ("cls_flower: call nla_ok() before nla_next()") only validates the mask pointer that was just consumed; the pointer produced by nla_next() is used by the next iteration (fl_set_geneve_opt() and siblings) without any validation. The mask's nested attributes are validated with NL_VALIDATE_LIBERAL, which merely warns on trailing bytes that do not form a complete attribute. A mask carrying one valid attribute plus 1-3 residue bytes (or a non-aligned attribute length making msk_depth negative) therefore reaches the next iteration with msk_depth != 0, so neither the !msk_depth check in fl_set_enc_opt() nor the !depth check in the per-type helpers fires. nla_type() then reads past the mask payload and nla_parse_nested_deprecated() iterates w

NextChat version 2.16.1 contains a client‑side cross‑site scripting (XSS) vulnerability in the Plugin Editor due to unsafe rendering of externally supplied OpenAPI plugin schema content. When a plugin schema is loaded from a remote URL, the returned content is stored in plugin.content and later rendered using React’s dangerouslySetInnerHTML without proper sanitization. An attacker can host a malicious OpenAPI schema containing HTML or JavaScript markup and trick a user into loading it through the Plugin Editor, resulting in arbitrary JavaScript execution in the NextChat origin. Successful exploitation allows access to JavaScript‑readable cookies and other client‑side data associated with the NextChat application.

  • Oct 27, 2026The Tables app's share-listing endpoint (GET /apps/tables/share/table/{tableId}) did not verify that the requesting user has manage-level permission on the tablCVE-2026-82983 · Other software · Nextcloud · reported by support@hackerone.comLow 3.3

The Tables app's share-listing endpoint (GET /apps/tables/share/table/{tableId}) did not verify that the requesting user has manage-level permission on the table before returning the full list of share recipients (users, groups, and teams) along with their permission levels. A user who was only granted read-data access to a table, and who is correctly prevented from seeing this information in the web UI, could call the endpoint directly to enumerate everyone the table is shared with and their access levels. This does not expose the table's data itself beyond what the read-data grant already permits, only the list of share recipients and their permission levels.

  • Oct 27, 2026The 3D Viewer for Nextcloud is a comprehensive 3D model viewer application for Nextcloud that supports multiple 3D file formats.CVE-2026-104189 · Other software · maz1987in · reported by GitHubHigh 7.5

The 3D Viewer for Nextcloud is a comprehensive 3D model viewer application for Nextcloud that supports multiple 3D file formats. In versions 1.7.9 through 3.3.1, the app's public file endpoint performed no share authorization. Anyone who knows a share token could read the shared file's contents even when the link share was protected by a password. `PublicFileController` extended `OCP\AppFramework\Controller` and marked its routes `#[PublicPage]`. Nextcloud only enforces share passwords through `PublicShareMiddleware`, which returns early for any controller that is not an `OCP\AppFramework\PublicShareController` instance — so no password, expiry, or share-type check ran for these routes. `ShareFileService::loadLinkShare()` compounded this by treating any token that `getShareByToken()` matched as authorised. A share token is the part of the URL that people paste into chats, emails, and tickets. Password protection exists precisely for the case where holding the token should not by itself grant access, and that guarantee did not hold. Requests to `GET /ocs/v2.php/apps/threedviewer/public/file/{token}/{fileId}` returned `200` with the full file body for password-protected shares, with

The Bluetooth HCI USB transport class of the new USB device stack, subsys/usb/device_next/class/bt_hci.c, copies every controller-to-host HCI packet into a USB transfer buffer before enqueuing it on an endpoint. bt_hci_tx_sync_in() allocated that buffer from bt_hci_ep_pool, a fixed pool whose slots are only USBD_MAX_BULK_MPS bytes (64 on full-speed-only builds), and then performed net_buf_add_mem(buf, bt_buf->data, bt_buf->len) with no length check. HCI event and ACL buffers are sized by CONFIG_BT_BUF_EVT_RX_SIZE and CONFIG_BT_BUF_ACL_RX_SIZE and can be far larger, so the copy runs past the end of the 64-byte slot into the adjacent slots and into whatever follows the statically allocated pool. The device runs the local Bluetooth controller in raw HCI mode (CONFIG_BT_HCI_RAW), so the oversized packets originate over the air. With the HCI buffer sizes recommended for full-featured controllers, an unauthenticated attacker within Bluetooth range can supply the overflowing bytes: a connected peer that negotiates Data Length Extension can send ACL fragments up to CONFIG_BT_CTLR_DATA_LENGTH_MAX bytes, and an attacker that merely broadcasts extended advertising data reaches the same path

In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: ipv4: stop PMTU walk when nexthop group shrinks Commit 7d3f3b4367f3 ("net: ipv4: Cache pmtu for all packet paths if multipath enabled") made __ip_rt_update_pmtu() update every path. For nexthop objects, fib_info_num_path() and fib_info_nhc() independently load nh->nh_grp. RCU protects each group's lifetime but does not make the loads observe the same group. If replacement shrinks the group after the loop accepts an index, fib_info_nhc() returns NULL and update_or_create_fnhe() dereferences it. A deterministic probe only widened the existing window between the real operations. On v7.2, an RTM_NEWNEXTHOP replacement published a one-member group after the PMTU reader accepted index 1 from a two-member group, producing: KASAN: null-ptr-deref in range [0x0000000000000000-0x0000000000000007] RIP: update_or_create_fnhe+0x45/0x15b0 Stop when the indexed path is absent. Groups are dense, so no later index exists in that snapshot. The same real-writer window completed 114,423 PMTU iterations without an oops with this check. A reproducer is available on request. If RTM_NEWNEXTHOP replaces a group with fewer paths between those loads, fib_info_nhc() returns NULL and the dump dereferences it through nhc_flags. Stop the walk when the indexed path is absent. In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: ALSA: seq: oss: Reject reads that cannot fit the next event snd_seq_oss_read() checks whether the next queued OSS sequencer event fits in the remaining userspace buffer before removing it from the read queue. The check is inverted. It currently stops when the event is smaller than the remaining buffer, so a normal 4-byte event is not copied for an 8-byte read buffer. Conversely, an 8-byte event can be copied for a smaller read count. Break only when the remaining userspace buffer is smaller than the next event, and report -EINVAL if no complete event has been copied. This prevents an undersized read from looking like end-of-file while leaving the event queued for a later read with a large enough buffer.

This allows the user to modify data beyond the user's permitted role. This issue is fixed in versions 15.121.0 and 16.34.0.

ERPNext is a free and open source Enterprise Resource Planning tool. Prior to 15.118.0 and 16.27.0, certain endpoints in the Sales Person-wise Transaction Summary report fail to enforce proper authorization checks. When a role-limited authenticated user requests the affected financial report, the query can query financial transaction rows without applying the requesting user's document permission match conditions. This allows the user to read financial data beyond the user's permitted role. This issue is fixed in versions 15.118.0 and 16.27.0.

  • Oct 16, 2026Nexter Extension – Security, Performance, Code Snippets & Site Toolkit: Privilege EscalationCVE-2026-111114 · WordPress plugins & themes · reported by WordfenceHigh 7.5

The Nexter Extension – Security, Performance, Code Snippets & Site Toolkit plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to Privilege Escalation in all versions up to, and including, 4.7.11 The vulnerability exists because the `/?reset-view` handler in `role_switcher_to_view_admin_as()` performs no nonce or capability check when the supplied username matches the authenticated caller, and because the plugin's only cleanup mechanism — the `profile_update` hook — does not fire when WordPress performs a bulk role change via `wp-admin/users.php?action=promote`, which calls `WP_User::set_role()` directly and leaves a stale `administrator` value in the `nxtext_view_admin_original_role` user meta. This makes it possible for authenticated attackers with Subscriber-level access or above to restore the stale stored Administrator role to their own account, effectively escalating their privileges to Administrator. Exploitation requires that the attacker's account previously held the Administrator role and used the View Admin Role Switcher feature before being demoted specifically through the bulk role-change control rather than the Edit User screen, as only the bulk path bypasses the `profile_update` hook

  • Oct 15, 2026OpenNext Cloudflare is an open Next.js adapter for Cloudflare.CVE-2026-100409 · Other software · opennextjs · reported by GitHubHigh 7.5

OpenNext Cloudflare is an open Next.js adapter for Cloudflare. From 0.3.0 until 1.20.2, applications that enable enableCacheInterception, rely on middleware for access control, and have a matching cached protected route process encoded pathnames inconsistently between middleware matching and cache lookup. An unauthenticated attacker can use a percent-encoded pathname that does not match authorization middleware but decodes to the cache key of a protected route, causing cached content to be returned without authorization. Malformed encodings can also be partially decoded, allowing cache lookup to continue with a pathname that middleware did not evaluate consistently. This issue is fixed in version 1.20.2.

The auth0/nextjs-auth0 SDK validates that the returnTo parameter is a same-origin URL. The SDK then stores this value and, in a later step, reconstructs it for the post-authentication redirect. Everything else is the whole National Vulnerability Database, where each record is published by the team that found the bug (Wordfence, Patchstack, WPScan, the vendors themselves and others); we show who. Exploit odds are FIRST’s EPSS, updated daily. Titles and categories are ours, so check the linked record before acting on a detail. For a write-up of the big ones, see our advisories.
