  • Oct 26, 2026ntop nDPI through 6.0 contains an out-of-bounds read vulnerability in dissect_softether_host_fqdn() in softether.c that compares host_name using the consumed byCVE-2026-116744 · Other software · ntop · reported by VulnCheckMedium 6.9

ntop nDPI through 6.0 contains an out-of-bounds read vulnerability in dissect_softether_host_fqdn() in softether.c that compares host_name using the consumed byte count instead of data length. Remote attackers can send crafted short UDP datagrams on already-classified SoftEther flows, causing strncmp to read beyond the packet payload buffer.

  • Oct 21, 2026The Legacy Pipe receiver protocol (handshake / sendPipeData) uses a hardcoded SUPER_USER (root) identity when executing data loading and deletion operations.CVE-2026-59229 · Websites & servers · Apache Software Foundation · reported by security@apache.org

The Legacy Pipe receiver protocol (handshake / sendPipeData) uses a hardcoded SUPER_USER (root) identity when executing data loading and deletion operations. A user with only SYSTEM-level privileges (such as USE_PIPE or MAINTAIN) who does NOT have WRITE_DATA or DELETE_DATA permissions on target databases can send specially crafted PipeData messages through the Legacy Pipe API, resulting in data loading/deletion operations executed as root — effectively bypassing IoTDB's permission model entirely. This issue affects Apache IoTDB: from 2.0.0 before 2.0.11. Users are recommended to upgrade to version 2.0.11, which fixes the issue.

  • Sep 24, 2026nDPI 5.1.0 contains a memory access issue in the DNS dissector and serializer deserialization code.CVE-2026-88357 · Other software · reported by MITREHigh 7.5

nDPI 5.1.0 contains a memory access issue in the DNS dissector and serializer deserialization code. Specially crafted network input can cause byte-buffer addresses at odd offsets to be cast to uint16_t or wider integer pointers and directly dereferenced without alignment checks. This results in undefined behavior and can cause process termination in UBSan-instrumented builds or on strict-alignment architectures, leading to denial of service.

  • Sep 4, 2026ntop nDPI versions before 6.0 contain a heap buffer overflow vulnerability in the ndpi_json_string_escape function that writes beyond caller-supplied buffer bouCVE-2026-86098 · Other software · ntop · reported by VulnCheckHigh 8.3

ntop nDPI versions before 6.0 contain a heap buffer overflow vulnerability in the ndpi_json_string_escape function that writes beyond caller-supplied buffer boundaries. Attackers can trigger the overflow by supplying crafted network packet data including TLS SNI, HTTP headers, or DNS names that reach the vulnerable function, causing heap corruption.

  • Apr 23, 2020In nDPI through 3.2 Stable, the SSH protocol dissector has multiple KEXINIT integer overflows that result in a controlled remote heap overflow in concat_hash_stCVE-2020-11939 · Other software · Ntop · reported by MITRECritical 9.8

In nDPI through 3.2 Stable, the SSH protocol dissector has multiple KEXINIT integer overflows that result in a controlled remote heap overflow in concat_hash_string in ssh.c. Due to the granular nature of the overflow primitive and the ability to control both the contents and layout of the nDPI library's heap memory through remote input, this vulnerability may be abused to achieve full Remote Code Execution against any network inspection stack that is linked against nDPI and uses it to perform network traffic analysis.

Where this comes from: the exploited list is CISA’s Known Exploited Vulnerabilities catalog. Everything else is the whole National Vulnerability Database, where each record is published by the team that found the bug (Wordfence, Patchstack, WPScan, the vendors themselves and others); we show who. Exploit odds are FIRST’s EPSS, updated daily. Titles and categories are ours, so check the linked record before acting on a detail. For a write-up of the big ones, see our advisories. Every vendor, and every WordPress plugin and theme with a recorded flaw, also has its own page. All of it is free to reuse as JSON, CSV or RSS.
