  • Oct 28, 2026Product Designer for WooCommerce WordPress | Lumise: Directory TraversalCVE-2026-15323 · WordPress plugins & themes · reported by WordfenceHigh 7.5

The Product Designer for WooCommerce WordPress | Lumise plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to Directory Traversal in all versions up to, and including, 2.1.2 via the process_checkout function. This makes it possible for unauthenticated attackers to read the contents of arbitrary files on the server, which can contain sensitive information. The lumise_security nonce required to reach the vulnerable /?lumise=cart endpoint is freely obtainable by any unauthenticated visitor via the /?lumise=ajax action=init handler, making this exploitable with no prior access or credentials.

  • Oct 19, 2026Rank Math SEO PRO for WordPress is affected by a supply-chain compromise in a subset of version 3.0.123 packages downloaded or updated between October 15, 2026 CVE-2026-111862 · WordPress plugins & themes · reported by WordfenceCritical 9.8

Rank Math SEO PRO for WordPress is affected by a supply-chain compromise in a subset of version 3.0.123 packages downloaded or updated between October 15, 2026 at 20:02 UTC and October 16, 2026 at 07:12 UTC. Rank Math states that the affected plugin files contained malware that could compromise a website if the plugin was activated and directs sites that activated an affected package to treat the website as compromised. The malware may establish persistent access, communicate with rank1cdn[.]com, recreate hidden backdoors on page visits, and expose WordPress credentials, database credentials, API keys, and other secrets accessible to the web server. Rank Math identifies three malicious wp_options keys, hidden PHP backdoors, unauthorized administrator accounts, a fake WordPress core file, PHP-executable .cache files, and a system cron marker as incident indicators. Only packages obtained during the vendor-confirmed window are claimed as affected; version 3.0.123 alone is not sufficient to establish compromise. Rank Math removed the affected files and released version 3.0.124 as the clean replacement.

    What to do
Update the plugin to the newest version.

  • Aug 6, 2026The official MonsterInsights Pro update distribution bucket (`monster-insights.s3.amazonaws.com`) was compromised.CVE-2026-11976 · WordPress plugins & themes · reported by WPScanCritical 10

The official MonsterInsights Pro update distribution bucket (`monster-insights.s3.amazonaws.com`) was compromised. Both the current release (10.2.2) and the version MonsterInsights rolled back to (10.2.0) contain a malicious file, `class-system-check.php`. Three distinct variants were observed on 2026-06-11, all sharing the same AES-256-GCM key, confirming a single threat actor. The attacker retains write access to the S3 bucket and has been actively iterating on the payload throughout the day.

    What to do
Update the plugin to the newest version.
  • Jul 23, 2026Lumise Product Designer for WooCommerce: SQL InjectionCVE-2026-9713 · WordPress plugins & themes · reported by WordfenceHigh 7.5

The Lumise Product Designer for WooCommerce plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to SQL Injection via the 'id' and 'table' parameters in the uploaded cart JSON file processed by the checkout AJAX action in versions up to, and including, 2.1.1. This is due to insufficient escaping on the user-supplied parameters before they are appended directly to a raw SQL query in the find_resource() function — the 'id' field is interpolated without quotes into a WHERE clause (numeric context) and 'table' is interpolated into the FROM clause, neither of which is protected by wp_magic_quotes or passed through $wpdb->prepare(). This makes it possible for unauthenticated attackers to append additional SQL queries into already existing queries that can be used to extract sensitive information from the database.

  • Jul 3, 2026CM Business Directory – Optimise and showcase local business: Stored Cross-Site ScriptingCVE-2026-8892 · WordPress plugins & themes · reported by WordfenceMedium 6.4

The CM Business Directory – Optimise and showcase local business plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to Stored Cross-Site Scripting via Business Address Meta Fields in all versions up to, and including, 1.5.7 due to insufficient input sanitization and output escaping. This makes it possible for authenticated attackers, with contributor-level access and above, to inject arbitrary web scripts in pages that will execute whenever a user accesses an injected page. Because the malicious payload is stored in post meta rather than post_content, WordPress's unfiltered_html capability restriction does not apply, meaning contributors who lack that capability can still inject executable HTML via the address meta fields such as cmbd_address, cmbd_cityTown, cmbd_stateCounty, cmbd_postalcode, cmbd_region, and cmbd_country.

Smart Slider 3 Pro version 3.5.1.35 for WordPress and Joomla contains a multi-stage remote access toolkit injected through a compromised update system that allows unauthenticated attackers to execute arbitrary code and commands. Attackers can trigger pre-authentication remote shell execution via HTTP headers, establish authenticated backdoors accepting arbitrary PHP code or OS commands, create hidden administrator accounts, exfiltrate credentials and access keys, and maintain persistence through multiple injection points including must-use plugins and core file modifications.

  • Jun 25, 2024Several plugins for WordPress hosted on WordPress.org have been compromised and injected with malicious PHP scripts.CVE-2024-6297 · WordPress plugins & themes · reported by WordfenceCritical 10

Several plugins for WordPress hosted on WordPress.org have been compromised and injected with malicious PHP scripts. A malicious threat actor compromised the source code of various plugins and injected code that exfiltrates database credentials and is used to create new, malicious, administrator users and send that data back to a server. Currently, not all plugins have been patched and we strongly recommend uninstalling the plugins for the time being and running a complete malware scan.

Where this comes from: the exploited list is CISA’s Known Exploited Vulnerabilities catalog. Everything else is the whole National Vulnerability Database, where each record is published by the team that found the bug (Wordfence, Patchstack, WPScan, the vendors themselves and others); we show who. Exploit odds are FIRST’s EPSS, updated daily. Titles and categories are ours, so check the linked record before acting on a detail. For a write-up of the big ones, see our advisories. Every vendor, and every WordPress plugin and theme with a recorded flaw, also has its own page. All of it is free to reuse as JSON, CSV or RSS.
