Oct 23, 2026Depicter — Popup & Slider Builder: Does not properly validate uploaded files in its editor media-upload endpointCVE-2026-113472 · WordPress plugins & themes · reported by WPScanMedium 5.4
The Depicter — Popup & Slider Builder WordPress plugin before 4.8.2 does not properly validate uploaded files in its editor media-upload endpoint, checking only the client-supplied MIME type and a case-sensitive block of the .php extension, which allows users with the Editor role and above to upload files with other active extensions into the public uploads directory, leading to stored script execution in the site origin and, depending on the server's handler mapping, to code execution.

Sep 28, 2026Improper Neutralization of Input During Web Page Generation ('Cross-site Scripting') in Apache Roller 6.1.5 allows a user with media-upload rights to store actiCVE-2026-82387 · Websites & servers · Apache Software Foundation · reported by security@apache.orgMedium 5.4
Improper Neutralization of Input During Web Page Generation ('Cross-site Scripting') in Apache Roller 6.1.5 allows a user with media-upload rights to store active content on Roller's origin, because the media upload feature trusts the upload-supplied content type and serves the stored file back with that type. A victim who opens the uploaded file executes the stored script. Media uploads are disabled by default; only installations that enable them are affected, and the shipped type restrictions do not block active content once uploads are on. Users are recommended to upgrade to Apache Roller 6.1.6 or later, which derives the stored type from file content and serves non-image media as a download.

Joomla Extension - joomshaper.com - Missing Directory Confinement in Media Upload in SP Page Builder (Free and Pro) 4.0.0 - 6.9.0 - The folder request parameter replaced the generated date-based destination folder in its entirety and was then passed to Folder::create() and File::upload() without either of the directory boundary checks applied elsewhere in the same file.
