The Bluetooth Link Layer Control Procedure (LLCP) implementation for Connected Isochronous Stream (CIS) creation retains an RX node (ctx->node_ref.rx, marked NODE_RX_TYPE_RETAIN) so it can later be reused as the host notification — on the peripheral while awaiting the Host's reply to an LL_CIS_REQ, and on the central for the whole duration of a locally initiated CIS Create. In subsys/bluetooth/controller/ll_sw/ull_llcp_cc.c, the "invalid PDU received" paths of llcp_rp_cc_rx() and llcp_lp_cc_rx() terminated the connection and completed the procedure without releasing that retained node, breaking the invariant checked in llcp_lr_check_done() and llcp_rr_check_done() and orphaning the node's memory. A peer device within radio range can reach this with a single extra LL Control PDU on an unauthenticated, unencrypted ACL link. Against a peripheral, the attacker sends a valid LL_CIS_REQ and then, before the Host replies, any unrelated LL Control PDU (for example LL_VERSION_IND), which ull_cp_rx() routes into the active remote procedure. Against a central performing a CIS Create, a malicious peripheral answers with LL_UNKNOWN_RSP for CIS_REQ, which is dispatched into the active local pro

OpenPrinting CUPS before 2.4.20 contains a NULL pointer dereference in cupsdCheckJobs() when a job marked job-held-on-create refers to a temporary printer that has been automatically deleted. Temporary-printer cleanup can remove the destination without canceling its held jobs, and the scheduler dereferences the NULL result of cupsdFindDest() while checking holding_new_jobs. This terminates cupsd and interrupts all queues managed by that process. In some plausible scenarios, an unprivileged submission can trigger this.

RansomLook does not consistently enforce authorization checks when accessing groups, markets, and ransom notes marked as private. An unauthenticated or otherwise unauthorized remote attacker can access information associated with private entities through several web views and API endpoints. The affected functionality can disclose private group or market names, ransom-note content, and metadata associated with private groups. The /compare functionality can also be queried directly with the name of a private entity, allowing an unauthorized user to retrieve information such as post counts, mirror totals, and uptime even when the entity is excluded from the normal user interface. The patch explicitly adds a privacy check before returning this information. Ransom-note views, search results, and API endpoints were similarly missing consistent filtering. The fix introduces normalized private-group identifiers and alias handling, then rejects or filters notes associated with private groups before returning them to unauthorized callers. An attacker can exploit the issue remotely without authentication or user interaction, resulting in disclosure of information tha

  • Aug 19, 2026When msync(MS_INVALIDATE) is called on a mapping of an unmanaged device object, the physical pages in the mapping range are marked invalid but remain in the pagCVE-2026-49418 · Other software · FreeBSD · reported by secteam@freebsd.orgHigh 8.8

When msync(MS_INVALIDATE) is called on a mapping of an unmanaged device object, the physical pages in the mapping range are marked invalid but remain in the pager's page list. A subsequent page fault will cause the fault handler to re-insert the page into the object's list. This corrupts the list, and on object destruction the page is freed twice. An unprivileged local user with access to a device that provides memory-mapped I/O can trigger a use-after-free in the kernel, though this is limited to a pool of objects ("fictitious pages") that are never recycled for a different purpose. It may be possible to exploit this to escalate privileges.

In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: drm/gpusvm: Reject VMAs with VM_IO or VM_PFNMAP when creating SVM ranges VMAs marked with VM_IO or VM_PFNMAP are not backed by struct page objects, which GPUSVM requires in order to operate correctly. In particular, get_pages() relies on hmm_range_fault() to resolve struct pages for the target range. Attempting to create an SVM range on such VMAs results in repeated get_pages() failures and can lead to an infinite loop inside a driver’s page‑fault handler. Prevent this by rejecting ranges on VM_IO or VM_PFNMAP VMAs and returning -EIO.

In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: can: bcm: add missing rcu list annotations and operations sashiko-bot remarked the missing use of list_add_rcu() in bcm_[rx|tx]_setup() to have a proper initialized bcm_op structure when bcm_proc_show() traverses the bcm_op's under rcu_read_lock(). To cover all initial settings of the bcm_op's the list_add_rcu() calls are moved to the end of the setup code. While at it, also fix the mirroring removal side: bcm_release() called bcm_remove_op() - which frees the op via call_rcu() - on ops that were still linked in bo->tx_ops/bo->rx_ops, without list_del_rcu() first. Unlink each op with list_del_rcu() before handing it to bcm_remove_op(), matching the existing pattern in bcm_delete_tx_op()/bcm_delete_rx_op().

  • Aug 15, 2026In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: can: bcm: add missing device refcount for CAN filter removal sashiko-bot remarked a probleCVE-2026-72113 · Computers, phones & browsers · Linux · reported by 416baaa9-dc9f-4396-8d5f-8c081fb06d67High 7.8

In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: can: bcm: add missing device refcount for CAN filter removal sashiko-bot remarked a problem with a concurrent device unregistration in isotp.c which also is present in the bcm.c code. A former fix for raw.c commit c275a176e4b6 ("can: raw: add missing refcount for memory leak fix") introduced a netdevice_tracker which solves the issue for bcm.c too. bcm_release(), bcm_delete_rx_op() and bcm_notifier() relied on dev_get_by_index(ifindex) to re-find the device for an rx_op before unregistering its filter. If a concurrent NETDEV_UNREGISTER has already unlisted the device from the ifindex table, that lookup fails and can_rx_unregister() is silently skipped, leaving a stale CAN filter pointing at the soon-to-be-freed bcm_op/socket. Hold a netdev_hold()/netdev_put() tracked reference on op->rx_reg_dev from the moment the rx filter is registered in bcm_rx_setup() until it is unregistered in bcm_rx_unreg(), and use that reference directly in bcm_release() and bcm_delete_rx_op() instead of re-looking the device up by ifindex.

  • Jan 9, 2026On October 1, 2025, Palantir discovered that images uploaded through the Dossier front-end app were not being marked correctly with the proper security levels.CVE-2025-62487 · Other software · Palantir · reported by cve-coordination@palantir.comLow 3.5

On October 1, 2025, Palantir discovered that images uploaded through the Dossier front-end app were not being marked correctly with the proper security levels. The regression was traced back to a change in May 2025, which was meant to allow file uploads to be shared among different artifacts (e.g. other dossiers and presentations). On deployments configured with CBAC, the front-end would present a security picker dialog to set the security level on the uploads, thereby mitigating the issue. On deployments without a CBAC configuration, no security picker dialog appears, leading to a security level of CUSTOM with no markings or datasets selected. The resulting markings and groups for the file uploads thus will be only those added by the default authorization rules defined in the Auth Chooser configuration. On most environments, it is expected that the default authorization rules only add the Everyone group.

  • Aug 8, 2024In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: cifs: Fix server re-repick on subrequest retry When a subrequest is marked for needing retCVE-2024-42256 · Computers, phones & browsers · Linux · reported by 416baaa9-dc9f-4396-8d5f-8c081fb06d67High 7.5

In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: cifs: Fix server re-repick on subrequest retry When a subrequest is marked for needing retry, netfs will call cifs_prepare_write() which will make cifs repick the server for the op before renegotiating credits; it then calls cifs_issue_write() which invokes smb2_async_writev() - which re-repicks the server. If a different server is then selected, this causes the increment of server->in_flight to happen against one record and the decrement to happen against another, leading to misaccounting. Fix this by just removing the repick code in smb2_async_writev(). As this is only called from netfslib-driven code, cifs_prepare_write() should always have been called first, and so server should never be NULL and the preparatory step is repeated in the event that we do a retry. The problem manifests as a warning looking something like: WARNING: CPU: 4 PID: 72896 at fs/smb/client/smb2ops.c:97 smb2_add_credits+0x3f0/0x9e0 [cifs] ... Prior to version 4.0.10, the regular expression `inline.reflinkSearch` may cause catastrophic backtracking against some strings and lead to a denial of service (DoS). Anyone who runs untrusted markdown through a vulnerable version of marked and does not use a worker with a time limit may be affected. This issue is patched in version 4.0.10. As a workaround, avoid running untrusted markdown through marked or run marked on a worker thread and set a reasonable time limit to prevent draining resources.

  • May 31, 2018marked is an application that is meant to parse and compile markdown.CVE-2016-10531 · Other software · HackerOne · reported by support@hackerone.comMedium 6.1

marked is an application that is meant to parse and compile markdown. Due to the way that marked 0.3.5 and earlier parses input, specifically HTML entities, it's possible to bypass marked's content injection protection (`sanitize: true`) to inject a `javascript:` URL. This flaw exists because `&#xNNanything;` gets parsed to what it could and leaves the rest behind, resulting in just `anything;` being left.

Where this comes from: the exploited list is CISA’s Known Exploited Vulnerabilities catalog. Everything else is the whole National Vulnerability Database, where each record is published by the team that found the bug (Wordfence, Patchstack, WPScan, the vendors themselves and others); we show who. Exploit odds are FIRST’s EPSS, updated daily. Titles and categories are ours, so check the linked record before acting on a detail. For a write-up of the big ones, see our advisories. Every vendor, and every WordPress plugin and theme with a recorded flaw, also has its own page. All of it is free to reuse as JSON, CSV or RSS.
