Bitwarden Server 2025.6.0 before 2026.5.0 declares the @ExternalId parameter of the User_ReadBySsoUserOrganizationIdExternalId stored procedure as NVARCHAR(50) while the column it queries stores NVARCHAR(300), silently truncating the SSO login identifier on SQL Server deployments and allowing a user whose identity-provider identifier begins with another organization member's full 50-character identifier to authenticate as that member and obtain a victim-scoped access token.

  • Sep 25, 2026In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: bpf: Reject non-scalar bpf_loop iteration counts bpf_loop() declares its nr_loops argumentCVE-2026-98007 · Computers, phones & browsers · Linux · reported by 416baaa9-dc9f-4396-8d5f-8c081fb06d67

In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: bpf: Reject non-scalar bpf_loop iteration counts bpf_loop() declares its nr_loops argument as ARG_ANYTHING. Privileged programs may pass pointer values to such arguments, so check_func_arg() lets a pointer-valued R1 reach the helper-specific checks. Since commit bb124da69c47 ("bpf: keep track of max number of bpf_loop callback iterations"), the verifier marks R1 precise and reads its upper bound to limit callback simulation. Precision backtracking only accepts scalar registers, so passing a pointer instead triggers the "backtracking misuse" verifier warning. Kernels with panic_on_warn enabled subsequently panic. Introduce ARG_SCALAR for helper arguments that only accept scalar values and use it for bpf_loop() nr_loops. Generic helper argument validation then rejects pointers before loop inlining and precision processing.

  • Sep 25, 2026In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: xfs: initialise error in xfs_defer_finish_one() xfs_defer_finish_one() declares error withCVE-2026-97552 · Computers, phones & browsers · Linux · reported by 416baaa9-dc9f-4396-8d5f-8c081fb06d67

In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: xfs: initialise error in xfs_defer_finish_one() xfs_defer_finish_one() declares error without an initialiser and only assigns it inside the loop over dfp->dfp_work. When that list is empty the loop body never runs, control falls through to the "Done with the dfp, free it" path, and the function returns an indeterminate value. An item-less pending item reaches this through xfs_defer_add_barrier(), which xfs_reap_ag_blocks() uses on any CONFIG_XFS_ONLINE_REPAIR kernel. xfs_defer_finish_noroll() treats any non-EAGAIN return as fatal, so a non-zero stack value turns a successful barrier into a SHUTDOWN_CORRUPT_INCORE in the middle of a repair. Zero is the correct result: reaching the free path means the item loop drained without a non-zero error.

If a malicious SDK container declares an extension point with a crafted `directory` path, and a developer runs `flatpak build-init --writable-sdk --sdk-extension` with that SDK, attacker-chosen files could be written outside the working directory, since the target path is resolved via a function that allows `..` traversal.

  • Sep 11, 2026In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: nfsd: validate sockaddr length per family in listener_set nfsd_sock_nl_policy declares NFSCVE-2026-89700 · Computers, phones & browsers · Linux · reported by 416baaa9-dc9f-4396-8d5f-8c081fb06d67

In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: nfsd: validate sockaddr length per family in listener_set nfsd_sock_nl_policy declares NFSD_A_SOCK_ADDR as a bare NLA_BINARY attribute with no minimum length. A CAP_NET_ADMIN caller can send a 16-byte NFSD_A_SOCK_ADDR with sa_family=AF_INET6, causing a 12-byte OOB read across three consumers (rpc_cmp_addr_port, svc_find_listener, kernel_bind). nfsd_nl_listener_set_doit() also parsed and validated each listener entry inline in two separate loops, interleaved with mutating the running listener configuration. The validation was duplicated, used an open-coded "nla_len < sizeof(struct sockaddr)" check that was too short for AF_INET6, and handled a malformed entry inconsistently depending on which loop noticed it. Add an nfsd_nl_validate_listeners() helper that walks the entire list once and confirms each entry parses, carries both an address and a transport name, and is long enough for its address family (sizeof(struct sockaddr_in) for AF_INET, sizeof(struct sockaddr_in6) for AF_INET6, -EAFNOSUPPORT otherwise). Call it before taking nfsd_mutex or creating the serv, so a malformed request fails cleanly with no side e

  • Aug 19, 2026phpMyFAQ before 4.1.7, when configured to use PostgreSQL via the native pgsql PHP extension, declares an incorrect LIKE ESCAPE character ('=') in the Search/DatCVE-2026-76212 · Other software · thorsten · reported by VulnCheckMedium 6.9

phpMyFAQ before 4.1.7, when configured to use PostgreSQL via the native pgsql PHP extension, declares an incorrect LIKE ESCAPE character ('=') in the Search/Database/Pgsql.php backend while escapeLikeWildcards() escapes user input with the '|' prefix. As a result, wildcard escaping is a no-op and user-supplied % and _ characters remain active LIKE wildcards. An unauthenticated attacker can submit such characters in the public FAQ search form to force maximally broad pattern matches and expensive sequential scans, resulting in a denial of service. The PDO PostgreSQL backend is not affected, and quotes remain escaped so this does not enable quote-breaking SQL injection or data exfiltration.

  • Aug 1, 2026Zephyr's Bluetooth host declares a GATT characteristic as two consecutive attributes: a Characteristic Declaration whose permission is hard-coded to BT_GATT_PERCVE-2026-2411 · Other software · zephyrproject · reported by vulnerabilities@zephyrproject.orgMedium 6.5

Zephyr's Bluetooth host declares a GATT characteristic as two consecutive attributes: a Characteristic Declaration whose permission is hard-coded to BT_GATT_PERM_READ, and a Characteristic Value attribute that carries the application-specified security permissions (e.g. BT_GATT_PERM_READ_ENCRYPT / READ_AUTHEN / READ_LESC). The public notify and indicate APIs explicitly accept either attribute, and passing the declaration is the documented, common idiom. Before sending each notification or indication, the host re-checks link security with bt_gatt_check_perm() against params->attr in gatt_notify(), gatt_indicate(), and gatt_notify_multiple_verify_params() (subsys/bluetooth/host/gatt.c). When the application passed the Characteristic Declaration attribute, the host correctly redirected the value handle but left params->attr pointing at the declaration, so the security check evaluated the declaration's permissions (no security required) instead of the value's. As a result the encryption/authentication/LESC requirement configured on the characteristic value was skipped. The Notify-Multiple path additionally used a mask that omitted the LE Secure Connections requirement. A remote peer

  • Jul 19, 2026In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: iio: imu: st_lsm6dsx: fix stack leak in tagged FIFO buffer The tagged FIFO path declares iCVE-2026-63967 · Computers, phones & browsers · Linux · reported by 416baaa9-dc9f-4396-8d5f-8c081fb06d67

In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: iio: imu: st_lsm6dsx: fix stack leak in tagged FIFO buffer The tagged FIFO path declares iio_buff on the stack with __aligned(8) but no initializer, but there is a hole in the structure, which will then leak to userspace as ST_LSM6DSX_SAMPLE_SIZE bytes (6) will be copied, but the space between that and the timestamp are not initialized. Commit c14edb4d0bdc ("iio:imu:st_lsm6dsx Fix alignment and data leak issues") moved the untagged FIFO path to a kzalloc'd buffer in hw->scan, but for the tagged path it only added the alignment qualifier and not the initializer :( Fix this by just zero-initializing the structure on the stack.

  • Jun 24, 2026In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: tun: zero the whole vnet header in tun_put_user() tun_put_user() declares an on-stack struCVE-2026-52940 · Computers, phones & browsers · Linux · reported by 416baaa9-dc9f-4396-8d5f-8c081fb06d67Medium 5.5

In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: tun: zero the whole vnet header in tun_put_user() tun_put_user() declares an on-stack struct virtio_net_hdr_v1_hash_tunnel without zeroing it. For a non-tunnel skb, virtio_net_hdr_tnl_from_skb() only initializes the first 10 bytes (sizeof(struct virtio_net_hdr)), leaving bytes 10..23 (num_buffers and the hash/tunnel fields) as stack garbage. An unprivileged user can set the vnet header size to 24 with TUNSETVNETHDRSZ, so __tun_vnet_hdr_put() copies all 24 bytes of the partially-initialized struct to userspace, leaking 14 bytes of kernel stack on every read of a non-tunnel packet. Fix it the same way tun_get_user() already does by zeroing the whole header right after declaration.
