In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: drm/amdgpu/userq: actually validate userq BOs This was supposed to loop over the individual evicted list, as the kernel and always_valid evicted lists were already handled in amdgpu_vm_validate. Without this, BOs that were created and evicted before a userq was made would never end up in an eviction fence rearm. Also add the missing ref to the BO before drm_exec locks and refs it. The mechanism binding files generated during a shredding process to the authentication method is not working correctly and the same session token is used for all token-based API users. This is similar to an issue fixed in 2026.7.1 but was missed while creating the fix. Since the files are referred to by randomly generated UUIDs and only exist for a day, there is virtually no risk, but it renders the added protection mechanism useless. As part of the fix, we have also improved hardening of some other related code areas.

  • Oct 26, 2026The Object Transfer Service server builds its Object Action Control Point (OACP) response indication in oacp_ind_send() (subsys/bluetooth/services/ots/ots_oacp.CVE-2026-81038 · Other software · zephyrproject · reported by vulnerabilities@zephyrproject.orgHigh 7.1

The Object Transfer Service server builds its Object Action Control Point (OACP) response indication in oacp_ind_send() (subsys/bluetooth/services/ots/ots_oacp.c). Before this fix the four-byte Checksum Value field was appended whenever the requested op code was BT_GATT_OTS_OACP_PROC_CHECKSUM_CALC, regardless of the result code. The response payload is a bare, uninitialized four-byte stack buffer declared with NET_BUF_SIMPLE_DEFINE(resp_param, sizeof(uint32_t)) in bt_gatt_ots_oacp_write(), and it is filled only on the success path of oacp_checksum_proc_validate(). On every failure path the buffer is still empty, so net_buf_simple_pull_le32() was invoked on a zero-length buffer. The OACP characteristic and its client characteristic configuration descriptor are declared with BT_GATT_PERM_WRITE and BT_GATT_PERM_READ | BT_GATT_PERM_WRITE, so no pairing, encryption, or authentication is required. Any peer within radio range that can connect to a device running the OTS server can enable OACP indications and write a nine-byte Calculate Checksum command that fails validation — for example by issuing it with no object selected, which returns BT_GATT_OTS_OACP_RES_INV_OBJ. In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: Bluetooth: hci_sock: Serialize dead-device detachment Rebinding an HCI socket after its controller is unregistered can race monitor control replay and crash the kernel. hci_sock_bind() clears hci_pi(sk)->hdev and drops the device reference under only the socket lock, whereas send_monitor_control_replay() holds hci_sk_list.lock for reading. Replay can observe a non-NULL hdev, then bind can clear it and drop the last reference before create_monitor_ctrl_open() reads hdev->id. This can cause a NULL pointer dereference if the pointer is reloaded, or a use-after-free if the old pointer is retained. The kernel reported: KASAN: null-ptr-deref in range [0x0000000000000068-0x000000000000006f] RIP: 0010:create_monitor_ctrl_open+0x579/0x800 Call Trace: hci_sock_bind+0xd96/0x1190 __sys_bind+0x166/0x200 __x64_sys_bind+0x6d/0xb0 do_syscall_64+0xdd/0x4a0 entry_SYSCALL_64_after_hwframe+0x77/0x7f The same missing serialization lets hci_send_to_sock() select a socket for the old device and queue its frame after bind has detached the socket or installed a new binding. • Oct 22, 2026Improper Handling of Highly Compressed Data (Data Amplification) in esaml_binding in dropbox esaml allows an unauthenticated attacker to exhaust server memory aCVE-2026-93471 · Other software · handnot2 · reported by 6b3ad84c-e1a6-4bf7-a703-f496b71e49dbHigh 8.7

Improper Handling of Highly Compressed Data (Data Amplification) in esaml_binding in dropbox esaml allows an unauthenticated attacker to exhaust server memory and crash the Erlang VM via a crafted compressed SAMLResponse. esaml_binding:decode_response/2 base64-decodes the attacker-supplied SAMLResponse, inflates it with zlib:unzip/1 with no bound on the output, then converts the result to a charlist with binary_to_list/1 before parsing. This runs on the SAML consume (ACS) and single-logout endpoints, which accept unauthenticated requests by design, and it runs before any signature check. A small deflate stream reaches a compression ratio near 1000 to 1, so a request body of tens of kilobytes inflates to hundreds of megabytes and then to several gigabytes of list heap, so a few requests exhaust memory and take the node down. This issue affects esaml: from 0.1.0 onward.

Allocation of Resources Without Limits or Throttling vulnerability in esaml_binding in dropbox esaml allows an unauthenticated attacker to exhaust the Erlang VM atom table and crash the node via a crafted SAMLResponse. esaml_binding:decode_response/2 parses the decoded SAMLResponse with xmerl_scan:string/2, which interns every element name, attribute name, and namespace prefix it reads as a permanent atom. The SAML consume (ACS) and single-logout endpoints call it on unauthenticated requests before any signature check, so one well-formed document with thousands of distinct names mints thousands of atoms while staying inside the 128 KB request body limit. Atoms are never reclaimed and the VM caps the atom table at about one million entries, so a few dozen requests abort the node. This issue affects esaml: from 0.1.0 onward.

The MCTP-over-I2C+GPIO target binding in subsys/pmci/mctp/mctp_i2c_gpio_target.c emulates a small pseudo-register file, where the bus controller first writes a register number and then writes or reads payload bytes. The selected register (b->reg_addr) and the data-phase flag (b->rxtx) were never cleared when the controller issued an I2C STOP, so after a completed transfer the target still had a data register selected while the packet buffer that register refers to had already been consumed and set to NULL by mctp_i2c_gpio_target_stop(). A controller on the bus can re-enter the same branch of mctp_i2c_gpio_target_stop() with a NULL buffer using two ordinary transactions and no authentication: first a normal packet write to MCTP_I2C_GPIO_RX_MSG_ADDR followed by STOP (which delivers and frees b->rx_pkt), then a bare read transaction followed by STOP. The failing read_requested() call leaves the stale state untouched and the I2C driver still delivers the STOP callback, which then calls mctp_bus_rx() with a NULL packet. The symmetric case exists on the transmit side, where the stale MCTP_I2C_GPIO_TX_MSG_ADDR selection dereferences b->tx_pkt->end after b->tx_pkt has been cleared and add

In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: Bluetooth: btintel_pcie: validate device-supplied DMA indices In btintel_pcie_msix_rx_handle(), the driver processes RX completion descriptors (urbd1) written by the PCIe device into DMA-coherent memory. urbd1->frbd_tag (a 16-bit field fully controlled by the device firmware via DMA) is used directly as an array index into rxq->bufs[] without any bounds check. rxq->bufs[] has only BTINTEL_PCIE_RX_DESCS_COUNT (64) entries, while frbd_tag can be any value 0-65535. A malicious or malfunctioning device can write an out-of-range frbd_tag, causing the driver to dereference an out-of-bounds data_buf pointer. Additionally, cr_hia is read from a DMA-shared index array also writable by the device; if the device sets cr_hia >= rxq->count, the while-loop never terminates because cr_tia is wrapped via modulo rxq->count and can never equal an out-of-range cr_hia. Add bounds validation for cr_hia and frbd_tag in the RX path, and cr_hia in the TX path. Log invalid values with bt_dev_err before returning.

  • Oct 13, 2026Indico is a feature-rich event management system.CVE-2026-108388 · Other software · indico · reported by GitHubLow 3.5

Indico is a feature-rich event management system. Indico 3.3.3 through 3.3.13 incorrectly uses the ambient web-session user instead of the user supplied to Contribution.can_manage when checking inherited event contribution-management permission. A low-privileged user can induce a privileged user to request a crafted legacy contribution export and cause speaker or author email addresses and contribution access-control entries to be stored in an API cache entry retrievable with less privilege. This issue was fixed in Indico 3.3.14.

Privasys rustls is a maintained fork of the rustls TLS library that adds RA-TLS challenge and channel-binding support. Prior to privasys-v0.8.1, the fork emitted RA-TLS challenge certificates whose quote ReportData was bound to the certificate public key and client nonce but not to the active TLS session. An attacker who obtained an enclave TLS private key could relay a genuine quote onto another connection, causing a relying party to accept an attacker-terminated connection as the attested enclave. In Bouncy Castle for Java before 1.86, the high-level OpenPGP API accepted a data signature made by a signing subkey whose Subkey Binding signature carried no embedded Primary Key Binding (cross-certification) signature, in the case where that binding omits a Key Flags subpacket. RFC 9580 sec. 5.2.1.8 and sec. 10.1.3 require the embedded Primary Key Binding signature on any subkey that can issue signatures; it is the subkey's own statement that it belongs to the primary key it is bound under. OpenPGPCertificate resolved the subkey's key flags two different ways. isSigningKey() goes through getKeyFlags() and getApplyingSubpacket(), which falls back to the primary key's direct-key or primary User ID self-signature when the binding signature omits the subpacket, so the subkey inherited the primary's SIGN_DATA and counted as signing-capable; verifyEmbeddedPrimaryKeyBinding(), which enforces the requirement, reads the binding signature's own hashed subpackets, found no SIGN_DATA there, and returned early as a non-signing key without ever demanding the back signature. The same subkey was therefore signing-capable - so its signatures were attributed to the certificate and OpenPGPSignature
