  • Sep 18, 2026Save as PDF Plugin by PDFCrowd: Arbitrary Function InvocationCVE-2026-92807 · WordPress plugins & themes · reported by WordfenceHigh 8.8

The Save as PDF Plugin by PDFCrowd plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to Arbitrary Function Invocation in all versions up to, and including, 4.6.1 via the `pdf_created_callback` shortcode attribute. The `eval_shortcode()` function copies any non-`button_`/non-`email_` shortcode attribute verbatim into a custom options array without sanitization, allowlist enforcement, or capability checks, and `create_button()` AES-encrypts that array — including the attacker-supplied callback value — and embeds the resulting blob in the rendered button HTML; when the blob is later POSTed to the unauthenticated `wp_ajax_nopriv_save_as_pdf_pdfcrowd` endpoint, `save_as_pdf_pdfcrowd()` decrypts it and invokes `$options['pdf_created_callback']` as a PHP callable at line 1722 with no `is_callable()` guard, no allowlist, and no capability check. This makes it possible for authenticated attackers, with Contributor-level access and above, to invoke arbitrary PHP functions or static class methods with plugin option data as the sole argument, enabling disclosure of the site's stored PDFCrowd API key and username or further server-side abuse. Note that the encryption boundary does not mitigate this vector bec

  • Aug 28, 2026Tutor LMS – eLearning and online course solution: Remote Code Execution limited to zero-argument function invocationCVE-2026-16759 · WordPress plugins & themes · reported by WordfenceMedium 6.5

The Tutor LMS – eLearning and online course solution plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to Remote Code Execution limited to zero-argument function invocation in all versions up to, and including, 4.0.5 via the tutor_course_filter_ajax AJAX action. This is due to missing authorization on the handler combined with unsanitized array keys being passed to extract() inside tutor_load_template(), allowing attacker-controlled POST data to overwrite the local $template variable and, in the resulting templates/single-content-loader.php template, the $method_map and $context variables invoked at $method_map[$context](). This makes it possible for unauthenticated attackers to call an arbitrary zero-argument PHP function server-side and, via WordPress core edit_user(), to create a persistent subscriber-level account from request parameters.

The ShopLentor plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to arbitrary function execution via the woolentoropt/v1/custom-action REST API endpoint in all versions up to, and including, 3.3.7. • Jul 1, 2026Youtube Showcase: Arbitrary Function CallCVE-2026-12923 · WordPress plugins & themes · reported by WordfenceHigh 7.5

The Youtube Showcase plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to Arbitrary Function Call in versions up to and including 4.0.3. This is due to insufficient validation of the 'path' parameter in the emd_delete_file() AJAX handler in includes/common-functions.php. The user-supplied value is passed through sanitize_text_field(), has its trailing '_PLUGIN_DIR' substring stripped, and is then invoked as a PHP function name with no arguments via `$sess_name()`. The handler is gated only by a nonce — no current_user_can() check is present — and the nonce is emitted on any front-end page that renders a form shortcode containing file fields. This makes it possible for authenticated attackers, with Subscriber-level access and above, to invoke arbitrary zero-argument PHP functions (such as phpinfo, phpversion, get_defined_vars, error_get_last), resulting in sensitive information disclosure and potential further compromise depending on the functions available in the environment.

  • Apr 10, 2026AddFunc Head & Footer Code: Stored Cross-Site ScriptingCVE-2026-2305 · WordPress plugins & themes · reported by WordfenceMedium 6.4

The AddFunc Head & Footer Code plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to Stored Cross-Site Scripting via the `aFhfc_head_code`, `aFhfc_body_code`, and `aFhfc_footer_code` post meta values in all versions up to, and including, 2.3. This is due to the plugin outputting these meta values without any sanitization or escaping. While the plugin restricts its own metabox and save handler to administrators via `current_user_can('manage_options')`, it does not use `register_meta()` with an `auth_callback` to protect these meta keys. This makes it possible for authenticated attackers, with Subscriber-level access and above, to invoke admin-only Smush operations including reading log files (`get_smush_logs`), deleting all backup images (`clean_all_backup_images`), triggering bulk image processing (`process_bulk_smush`), and modifying Smush options (`update_smush_options`).
