In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: net/sched: cls_flower: validate mask pointer after nla_next() fl_set_enc_opt() iterates the key's nested tunnel-option attributes with nla_for_each_attr() while advancing a single mask pointer via nla_next() at the bottom of each loop, so the mask cursor is driven by the number of key attributes rather than by the mask's own attributes. The nla_ok() added by commit c96adff956191 ("cls_flower: call nla_ok() before nla_next()") only validates the mask pointer that was just consumed; the pointer produced by nla_next() is used by the next iteration (fl_set_geneve_opt() and siblings) without any validation. The mask's nested attributes are validated with NL_VALIDATE_LIBERAL, which merely warns on trailing bytes that do not form a complete attribute. A mask carrying one valid attribute plus 1-3 residue bytes (or a non-aligned attribute length making msk_depth negative) therefore reaches the next iteration with msk_depth != 0, so neither the !msk_depth check in fl_set_enc_opt() nor the !depth check in the per-type helpers fires. nla_type() then reads past the mask payload and nla_parse_nested_deprecated() iterates w

Oct 23, 2026In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: mlxsw: spectrum_flower: Fix port range register leak in tmplt_create() mlxsw_sp_flower_tmpCVE-2026-98948 · Computers, phones & browsers · Linux · reported by 416baaa9-dc9f-4396-8d5f-8c081fb06d67
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: mlxsw: spectrum_flower: Fix port range register leak in tmplt_create() mlxsw_sp_flower_tmplt_create() parses a flow_cls_offload template into a stack-local struct mlxsw_sp_acl_rule_info purely to compute rulei.values.elusage. Parsing can acquire port range registers via mlxsw_sp_flower_parse_ports_range(), but since this rulei never goes through mlxsw_sp_acl_rulei_destroy(), those registers were never released, including through chain template deletion. Factor out of mlxsw_sp_acl_rulei_destroy() the code to actually release the necessary resources and call from mlxsw_sp_flower_tmplt_create() to plug the leak. The issue was found during a review of Wentao Liang's patch referenced below.

Oct 23, 2026In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: net: microchip: sparx5: clean up PSFP resources on flower setup failure sparx5_tc_flower_pCVE-2026-98908 · Computers, phones & browsers · Linux · reported by 416baaa9-dc9f-4396-8d5f-8c081fb06d67
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: net: microchip: sparx5: clean up PSFP resources on flower setup failure sparx5_tc_flower_psfp_setup() allocates PSFP stream gate, flow meter and stream filter resources before adding VCAP actions. If a later step fails, the resources allocated earlier in the function are not unwound. Add error paths to release the stream filter, flow meter and stream gate when setup fails after they have been acquired. Also make sparx5_psfp_fm_add() return the acquired flow-meter id before the existing-flow-meter early return. When an existing flow meter is reused, sparx5_psfp_fm_get() increments its pool reference count, but the caller previously kept psfp_fmid as 0. If a later setup step failed, the error path could try to delete flow-meter id 0 instead of the reused flow meter, leaving the incremented reference behind.

Sep 24, 2026In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: net: dsa: sja1105: flower: reject cross-chip redirect dsa_port_from_netdev() may return a CVE-2026-97435 · Computers, phones & browsers · Linux · reported by 416baaa9-dc9f-4396-8d5f-8c081fb06d67
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: net: dsa: sja1105: flower: reject cross-chip redirect dsa_port_from_netdev() may return a valid port from a different switch chip. Programming another chip's port index into the local hardware causes redirection to the wrong port, or an out-of-bounds access if the index exceeds the local chip's port count. Apply a minimal fix that adds a check to catch this case and adjusts the extack message. When cls->common.skip_sw is not set, the operation could instead redirect to the upstream port and let the software or upstream switch(es) handle the forward, but that is not addressed here.

Dec 30, 2025In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: net/sched: flower: fix filter idr initialization The cited commit moved idr initializationCVE-2023-54206 · Computers, phones & browsers · Linux · reported by 416baaa9-dc9f-4396-8d5f-8c081fb06d67High 7.8
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: net/sched: flower: fix filter idr initialization The cited commit moved idr initialization too early in fl_change() which allows concurrent users to access the filter that is still being initialized and is in inconsistent state, which, in turn, can cause NULL pointer dereference [0]. Since there is no obvious way to fix the ordering without reverting the whole cited commit, alternative approach taken to first insert NULL pointer into idr in order to allocate the handle but still cause fl_get() to return NULL and prevent concurrent users from seeing the filter while providing miss-to-action infrastructure with valid handle id early in fl_change(). Apr 2, 2024In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: net/sched: flower: Fix chain template offload When a qdisc is deleted from a net device thCVE-2024-26669 · Computers, phones & browsers · Linux · reported by 416baaa9-dc9f-4396-8d5f-8c081fb06d67High 7.1
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: net/sched: flower: Fix chain template offload When a qdisc is deleted from a net device the stack instructs the underlying driver to remove its flow offload callback from the associated filter block using the 'FLOW_BLOCK_UNBIND' command. The stack then continues to replay the removal of the filters in the block for this driver by iterating over the chains in the block and invoking the 'reoffload' operation of the classifier being used. In turn, the classifier in its 'reoffload' operation prepares and emits a 'FLOW_CLS_DESTROY' command for each filter. However, the stack does not do the same for chain templates and the underlying driver never receives a 'FLOW_CLS_TMPLT_DESTROY' command when a qdisc is deleted. This results in a memory leak [1] which can be reproduced using [2]. Fix by introducing a 'tmplt_reoffload' operation and have the stack invoke it with the appropriate arguments as part of the replay. Implement the operation in the sole classifier that supports chain templates (flower) by emitting the 'FLOW_CLS_TMPLT_{CREATE,DESTROY}' command based on whether a flow offload callback is being bound to a fil

Where this comes from: the exploited list is CISA’s Known Exploited Vulnerabilities catalog. Everything else is the whole National Vulnerability Database, where each record is published by the team that found the bug (Wordfence, Patchstack, WPScan, the vendors themselves and others); we show who. Exploit odds are FIRST’s EPSS, updated daily. Titles and categories are ours, so check the linked record before acting on a detail. For a write-up of the big ones, see our advisories. Every vendor, and every WordPress plugin and theme with a recorded flaw, also has its own page. All of it is free to reuse as JSON, CSV or RSS.
