Oct 28, 2026FearlessCMS is a flat-file `content` management system centered on simplicity and open source.CVE-2026-63190 · Other software · fearlessgeekmedia · reported by GitHubCritical 9.4
FearlessCMS is a flat-file `content` management system centered on simplicity and open source. Prior to version 0.1.4, five debug/test PHP scripts under `admin/` perform privileged operations without `isLoggedIn()` authentication checks, CSRF protection or adequate `path` validation. On PHP's built-in development server, including the default Docker deployment, `router.php` checks an unnormalized admin URI prefix while the filesystem resolves dot segments, so `/./admin/` bypasses the admin login gate and executes those scripts directly. In `admin/debug_save_flow.php`, attacker-controlled `path` and `content` reach `file_put_contents` for arbitrary `.md` writes under `content`/ or outside it through `path` traversal, enabling site defacement and stored JavaScript in public pages; `print_r($_POST)` output without `htmlspecialchars` escaping also causes reflected cross-site scripting. The `admin/debug_content.php` `path` parameter reaches `scandir()`, `file_get_contents()` and `posix_getpwuid()`, permitting arbitrary directory enumeration and `.md` file reads that expose absolute paths, ownership, permissions, hashes and `content` previews. The `admin/preview-handler.php` endpoint acc

Oct 23, 2026XDG Desktop Portal is a desktop integration portal.CVE-2026-55889 · Other software · flatpak · reported by GitHubHigh 8.3
XDG Desktop Portal is a desktop integration portal. Prior to version 1.22.1, malicious sandboxed applications can use the FileTransfer.RetrieveFiles method to redirect drag-and-drop and copy-paste data targeted at other applications to itself. Some portals generate tokens which provide access to resources. The sharing of the token transfers access to the resource and is supposed to happen out of band. The tokens were generated with g_random_int or g_uuid_string_random, both of which use GLib's GRand based on the Mersenne Twister PRNG which created a stream of reproducible random numbers. By generating enough tokens, the state of the GRand can be recover and with it, the next tokens can be predictedinsufin. This issue has been patched in version 1.22.1.

Oct 23, 2026XDG Desktop Portal is a desktop integration portal.CVE-2026-55888 · Other software · flatpak · reported by GitHubHigh 8.8
XDG Desktop Portal is a desktop integration portal. Prior to version 1.22.1, malicious sandboxed applications can use the FileChooser.SaveFiles method to gain arbitrary file access to non-existing files on the host (limited to files the user has access to). The FileChooser.SaveFiles method takes optional filenames which get appended to the selected directory by backends. The backends are supposed to check that the file does not exist yet. The filenames are not validated by the frontend and also not by common backends. This issue has been patched in version 1.22.1.

Oct 20, 2026Flatpak is a system for building, distributing, and running sandboxed desktop applications on Linux.CVE-2026-92162 · Other software · flatpak · reported by GitHubHigh 7.2
Flatpak is a system for building, distributing, and running sandboxed desktop applications on Linux. Prior to version 1.18.1, on systems where at least one OCI remote is configured (most common on Fedora systems), a malicious local user in an active local session could use a crafted architecture name to trick the `flatpak-system-helper` process into creating a root-owned directory tree with contents determined by the OCI remote, plus a root-owned `lock` file and `icons` directory, outside the intended root directory. If this vulnerability is combined with other vulnerabilities also fixed in 1.18.1, the combination can lead to local root privilege escalation. This particular vulnerability is not believed to be exploitable if there are no OCI remotes configured (common on non-Fedora systems). Version 1.18.1 patches the issue.

Oct 13, 2026FearlessCMS is a flat-file content management system centered on simplicity and open source.CVE-2026-55695 · Other software · fearlessgeekmedia · reported by GitHubCritical 9.1
FearlessCMS is a flat-file content management system centered on simplicity and open source. In 0.1.2b and earlier, an authenticated administrator can set an arbitrary Git repository URL through admin/updater-handler.php and trigger perform_update, which passes the URL to update.sh. The updater clones the repository and replaces the live plugins/, admin/, and includes/ directories without verifying the repository's identity, signatures, or contents. Because router.php permits existing PHP files under plugins to be executed by the PHP development server, attacker-supplied update content can execute arbitrary PHP with the web server process's privileges and persist as a backdoor. This issue is fixed in version 0.1.3b.

Oct 9, 2026CompressionUtils.inflate() decompressed attacker-controlled DEFLATE data with no output-size cap.CVE-2026-78384 · Websites & servers · Apache Software Foundation · reported by security@apache.orgHigh 7.5
CompressionUtils.inflate() decompressed attacker-controlled DEFLATE data with no output-size cap. A small (~KB) crafted payload could expand to gigabytes on the heap. Reachable via JWE decryption when zip=DEF (e.g. JoseSessionTokenProvider with RSA-OAEP key wrap) and via SAML redirect/POST binding token inflation — in both cases decompression happens before/independent of trust validation. Fix: Added a configurable maximum inflated-size cap (default 10 MiB, org.apache.cxf.compression-max-inflated-size system property) to CompressionUtils.inflate(); aborts with DataFormatException once exceeded. Users are recommended to upgrade to versions 4.2.4 or 4.1.9 or 3.6.13, which fix this issue.

Oct 8, 2026A flaw was found in flatpak-builder.CVE-2026-107466 · Other software · Red Hat · reported by Red HatMedium 6.1
A flaw was found in flatpak-builder. This vulnerability allows an attacker to cause information disclosure by convincing a user or continuous integration (CI) system to process a crafted build manifest. By specifying local file Uniform Resource Identifiers (URIs) within source download definitions, the builder bypasses directory confinement checks. As a result, sensitive host files accessible to the build process can be read and incorporated into the build artifacts.

Oct 1, 2026MISP contains an authorization bypass in the event flattening feature.CVE-2026-103659 · Other software · MISP · reported by 5a6e4751-2f3f-4070-9419-94fb35b644e8High 7.1
MISP contains an authorization bypass in the event flattening feature. When a user requests an event with the flatten option enabled, the application removes the Object containment from the query and returns object attributes as top-level event attributes. In doing so, the object-level distribution and sharing-group access control check was not re-applied to those attributes. As a result, a user who can view a community-distributed event could retrieve attributes belonging to organisation-only objects (distribution level 0) or objects restricted to a specific sharing group, even though the user's organisation does not have access to those objects. This constitutes an unauthorized disclosure of sensitive threat intelligence data. A secondary issue was introduced by the initial remediation: the fix reused the full Object contain conditions (including soft-delete state) as the gate for flattened attributes, causing an event owner requesting deleted attributes to lose all attributes whose parent object was still live. The final fix isolates the distribution ACL condition as the sole gate. Preconditions: - An authenticated user with access to a community-distributed event - The eve

Sep 26, 2026Grav is a flat-file CMS.CVE-2026-100671 · Other software · getgrav · reported by VulnCheckHigh 8.6
Grav is a flat-file CMS. In versions 2.0.19 through 2.0.24 — and in 2.0.0 through 2.0.18 and 1.7.x only where content Twig has been explicitly enabled — page content authored by a user holding only page-write permission is rendered through a Twig sandbox that allowlists get_cookie(), which returns any cookie sent with the current request, including the visitor's session cookie. Because the read occurs server-side via filter_input(INPUT_COOKIE, ...), the HttpOnly, Secure and SameSite attributes offer no protection. Grav then stores the finished post-Twig output in a page-content cache keyed only on page identity and the configuration checksum, with no session, user or request dimension and no bypass for authenticated visitors. A page published by a page-write user can therefore capture the session identifier of the next administrator who views it, after which the cached output serves that identifier to unauthenticated visitors, who can replay the cookie to authenticate as that administrator. Since 2.0.19, security.twig_content.process_enabled defaults to true and Security::applyTwigContentDefault() derives each page's process.twig flag from that gate, so content Twig runs on every p

In Flatpak before 1.18.1, the revokefs writer, used by the flatpak-system-helper to receive repository data from unprivileged callers, validated file paths by rejecting literal .. components but did not prevent symlink traversal. A malicious local user in an active local session could obtain two revokefs sessions via the system helper, create a symlink in one session pointing into the other session's directory, and retain a file descriptor through that symlink. This allowed the attacker to modify files belonging to a different revokefs session after they had been validated and imported by the system helper. In particular, an attacker could use this to tamper with ostree commit objects in the system repository after they passed signature verification, enabling root-controlled file writes to attacker-chosen paths and local root privilege escalation.

A specially crafted schema can trigger a one-byte heap buffer over-read, resulting in application crash and denial of service.

Sep 21, 2026The CompressionFilter class uses ZLib to deflate and inflate data sent and received.CVE-2026-47321 · Websites & servers · Apache Software Foundation · reported by security@apache.orgHigh 7.5
The CompressionFilter class uses ZLib to deflate and inflate data sent and received. When we inflate incoming data, the filter does not control the resulting size, and create a buffer no matter what. Some compressed data may have a compression ration greater than 1 thousand, leading to an exhaustion of the application memory, as we don't control the deflated size. The fix adds such a control by allowing the application developer to provide a fixed size limit, which when reached throws an exception. It also allows the user to provide a compression ratio that should not be exceeded, protected the application from small inflated files that inflate in gigantic files, but with a grace limit for the resulting size (1Mb) to avoid false positive (like a very small file inflating with a high ratio, but resulting with a acceptable size, like a few thousands bytes) For application using this feature, it is highly recommended to create the CompressionFilter and to pass the maximum limit as a forth constructor parameter, maxDecompressedSize: public CompressionFilter(final boolean compressInbound, final boolean compressOutbound, final int compressionLevel, final int maxDecompressedS

Sep 17, 2026Grav is a flat-file CMS.CVE-2026-92917 · Other software · getgrav · reported by VulnCheckHigh 8.7
Grav is a flat-file CMS. In versions 2.0.0-rc.1 through 2.0.21, the Twig content sandbox fails to restrict the dump and serialize filters (print_r, vardump, json_encode, yaml_encode, string): GravExtension::assertSandboxDumpSafe() determines sandbox state by calling SandboxExtension::isSandboxed() without a Source argument, which reports only the global sandbox flag that Grav never enables, so the guard added in GHSA-mc5q-6hpj-rp7j never executes. As a result, an authenticated user with page-edit rights can render {{ config|print_r }} in page content with Twig processing enabled and dump Grav's entire merged configuration — print_r reflects the real Config object held in a private property of the SandboxConfig facade, bypassing its path redaction — exposing plugin secrets such as SMTP credentials, API tokens, webhook secrets and cache backend passwords. Grav 1.7 is not affected because it ships no Twig content sandbox. The issue is fixed in 2.0.22, where the affected filters are registered with Twig's needs_is_sandboxed flag.

Sep 17, 2026Grav is a flat-file CMS.CVE-2026-92916 · Other software · getgrav · reported by VulnCheckHigh 8.7
Grav is a flat-file CMS. In Grav 1.7.0 through 1.7.53.2 and 2.0.0 through 2.0.21, when the debugger is enabled (system.debugger.enabled: true, which is not the default), the Clockwork profiler endpoint is exposed without authentication: InitializeProcessor::handleDebuggerRequest() intercepts any path containing /__clockwork/ during bootstrap and passes it to Debugger::debuggerRequest(), which performs no user lookup, IP restriction, or Clockwork authenticator check, and also supports anonymous pagination over the entire stored history. With the shipped censored: false default, each stored record contains raw request cookies (including Grav's session cookie, whose value is the PHP session id, allowing an attacker to resume another user's session, including an authenticated admin's), the full parsed request body (Grav's login form posts data[username]/data[password], so passwords are stored in plaintext because Clockwork's password filter only inspects top-level keys), and the site's entire system and plugin configuration, including operator-saved secrets such as SMTP credentials, third-party API keys, and licence keys. Authorization and X-API-Token headers are stored even when censo

Sep 16, 2026In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: drm/xe: Don't hand out the flat CCS storage as usable VRAM get_flat_ccs_offset() reads theCVE-2026-90047 · Computers, phones & browsers · Linux · reported by 416baaa9-dc9f-4396-8d5f-8c081fb06d67High 7.8
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: drm/xe: Don't hand out the flat CCS storage as usable VRAM get_flat_ccs_offset() reads the base of the flat CCS storage from the hardware, scales it by the number of enabled L3 nodes, and rounds the result up to 128K. Everything below that offset is then handed to the VRAM allocator as usable memory. Rounding a limit that means "usable memory ends here" upwards publishes whatever lies between the real base and the rounded one as free memory, and that memory belongs to the compression hardware. The scaled value has no reason to be 128K aligned, and on a Battlemage G21 with 16 GiB it is not: flat CCS base: raw 0x3fafff800, rounded 0x3fb000000 so the last 2 KiB of page 0x3fafff000 is CCS storage, in the allocator's pool. Whatever is allocated there gets that tail overwritten by the compression hardware, which needs no page-table entry, no buffer object and no GPU submission to do it, and does it before userspace exists. On this machine a Mesa VM's level-3 page table landed on that page on every cold boot. It lost the entry covering the compositor's batch-buffer heap, so the compositor's first submission fau

Sep 14, 2026flat-to-nested converts a hierarchy from a flat representation to a nested representation.CVE-2026-55091 · Other software · joaonuno · reported by GitHubHigh 7.5
flat-to-nested converts a hierarchy from a flat representation to a nested representation. Prior to 1.1.2, FlatToNested.prototype.convert in index.js uses attacker-influenced id and parent record fields directly as keys in the plain temp and pendingChildOf objects. When parent or id is __proto__, temp[parent] can resolve to Object.prototype, and initPush() can write attacker-controlled data to the global children prototype property while existing prototype methods remain intact. Any application that passes attacker-influenced flat records to convert() can therefore expose unrelated objects to polluted inherited state, causing application-logic corruption or denial of service and potentially enabling greater impact when a downstream prototype-pollution gadget is present. The constructor and prototype strings are also unsafe inherited-key values in the same lookup design. This issue is fixed in version 1.1.2.

Sep 12, 2026In Flatpak before 1.18.1, a malicious sandboxed app can obtain arbitrary read and write access to files on the host, which can be escalated to arbitrary code exCVE-2026-90616 · Other software · Flatpak · reported by MITREHigh 7.4
In Flatpak before 1.18.1, a malicious sandboxed app can obtain arbitrary read and write access to files on the host, which can be escalated to arbitrary code execution on the host, a different vulnerability than CVE-2026-76925. Flatpak creates a few app data directories (e.g., /var/cache, /var/data, /var/config, and /var/tmp) in every sandbox on every app launch where, in some cases, components of the path are attacker-controlled. Missing symlink protection can redirect the directories. Some of these directories are bind-mounted by Flatpak by passing the path (e.g., /home/user/.var/app/APP_ID/cache/tmp), which contains attacker-controlled directories (tmp) to bwrap --bind SRC DST. bwrap passes the path on to the kernel, which then follows symlinks. A malicious symlink can point to arbitrary locations on the host and it will become mounted inside the sandbox.

Sep 6, 2026Improper Validation of Specified Quantity in Input in ZenHive mpp allows an unauthenticated remote client to inflate the fee-payer's gas cost per sponsored paymCVE-2026-82751 · Other software · ZenHive · reported by 6b3ad84c-e1a6-4bf7-a703-f496b71e49dbHigh 8.3
Improper Validation of Specified Quantity in Input in ZenHive mpp allows an unauthenticated remote client to inflate the fee-payer's gas cost per sponsored payment by a large multiplier and to have the sponsor pay for provisioning an access key on the client's own account. When the server sponsors Tempo payments, MPP.Methods.Tempo.FeePayerPolicy.measure/3 in lib/mpp/methods/tempo/fee_payer_policy.ex bounds the gas fields, the fee budget, the validity window and the access list of the client-signed 0x76 envelope, but does not check whether the envelope carries the optional key_authorization field. A client can attach a fully signed key authorization, provisioning a new access key with token spending limits on its own account, alongside the normal payment call. The key and each limit entry are persistent storage writes billed as intrinsic gas to the sponsor, bounded only by the gas_limit ceiling. At the reporter's default of one key with three token limits the sponsored cost rises from about 46,587 gas to about 1,808,700 gas, and the client keeps a valid access key it paid nothing for. This issue affects mpp: from 0.2.0 before 0.16.1.

Improper Validation of Specified Quantity in Input in ZenHive mpp allows an unauthenticated remote client to inflate the fee-payer's gas cost per sponsored payment by a large multiplier and to have the sponsor pay for EIP-7702 account delegations of the client's choosing. When the server sponsors Tempo payments, MPP.Methods.Tempo.FeePayerPolicy.measure/3 in lib/mpp/methods/tempo/fee_payer_policy.ex bounds the gas fields, the fee budget, the validity window and the access list of the client-signed 0x76 envelope, but never reads its aa_authorization_list field. Every signed delegation in that list is charged as intrinsic gas before the payment call runs, so a client attaching delegations from throwaway authority keys makes the sponsor pay for them within the default gas_limit ceiling. At the reporter's default of seven entries the sponsored cost rises from about 46,575 gas to about 1,884,087 gas. Because each entry is applied as a persistent set-code delegation, a client can also upgrade its own accounts to delegated code at the sponsor's expense. This issue affects mpp: from 0.2.0 before 0.16.1.

Sep 4, 2026A flaw was found in Flatpak.CVE-2026-76925 · Other software · Red Hat · reported by Red HatMedium 5.8
A flaw was found in Flatpak. A Time-of-check to time-of-use (TOCTOU) race condition exists in the `org.freedesktop.Flatpak.SystemHelper` component. This vulnerability occurs because a privileged `chmod` operation executes before the OSTree repository validation within the `Deploy()` function. An attacker can exploit this timing window to redirect symlinks to arbitrary files, potentially leading to unauthorized file manipulation or information disclosure.
