Aug 6, 2026Fedify is a TypeScript library for building federated server apps powered by ActivityPub.CVE-2026-62857 · Other software · fedify-dev · reported by GitHubHigh 8.8
Fedify is a TypeScript library for building federated server apps powered by ActivityPub. From version 1.2.0 through the affected 1.9, 1.10, 2.0, 2.1, 2.2, and 2.3 maintenance lines, getNodeInfo() follows an attacker-controlled links[].href value from /.well-known/nodeinfo without scheme, redirect, or private-address validation, allowing requests to loopback, link-local, cloud metadata, and private-network services and returning their response bodies. This issue is fixed in versions 1.9.13, 1.10.12, 2.0.22, 2.1.18, 2.2.7, and 2.3.2.

Jun 10, 2026Fedify is a TypeScript library for building federated server apps powered by ActivityPub.CVE-2026-50131 · Other software · fedify-dev · reported by GitHubHigh 8.6
Fedify is a TypeScript library for building federated server apps powered by ActivityPub. Fedify previously addressed SSRF/internal network access in GHSA-p9cg-vqcc-grcx by adding public URL validation before runtime document and media fetching. However, the IPv4 validation logic present starting in version 0.11.2 and prior to versions 1.9.12, 1.10.11, 2.0.19, 2.1.15, and 2.2.4 appears incomplete. The `validatePublicUrl()` protection relies on `isValidPublicIPv4Address()` to reject non-public IPv4 destinations. The function blocks common private and local ranges such as `10.0.0.0/8`, `127.0.0.0/8`, `169.254.0.0/16`, `172.16.0.0/12`, and `192.168.0.0/16`, but it still treats several special-use, reserved, multicast, benchmarking, and carrier-grade NAT IPv4 ranges as valid public destinations. Because this validation is used as an SSRF defense before outbound fetches, this appears to be an incomplete mitigation or bypass class for the previous SSRF issue. Versions 1.9.12, 1.10.11, 2.0.19, 2.1.15, and 2.2.4 contain an updated patch.

Jun 10, 2026Fedify is a TypeScript library for building federated server apps powered by ActivityPub.CVE-2026-42462 · Other software · fedify-dev · reported by GitHubHigh 7
Fedify is a TypeScript library for building federated server apps powered by ActivityPub. Prior to versions 1.9.11, 1.10.10, 2.0.18, 2.1.14, and 2.2.3, an attacker can make use of JSON-LD features to restructure a JSON-LD document that would change how Fedify interprets it without changing its Linked Data Signature, allowing them to alter a third-party signed activity they have received. Versions 1.9.11, 1.10.10, 2.0.18, 2.1.14, and 2.2.3 fix the issue.

Apr 6, 2026Fedify is a TypeScript library for building federated server apps powered by ActivityPub.CVE-2026-34148 · Other software · @fedify · reported by GitHubHigh 7.5
Fedify is a TypeScript library for building federated server apps powered by ActivityPub. Prior to 1.9.6, 1.10.5, 2.0.8, and 2.1.1, @fedify/fedify follows HTTP redirects recursively in its remote document loader and authenticated document loader without enforcing a maximum redirect count or visited-URL loop detection. An attacker who controls a remote ActivityPub key or actor URL can force a server using Fedify to make repeated outbound requests from a single inbound request, leading to resource consumption and denial of service. This vulnerability is fixed in 1.9.6, 1.10.5, 2.0.8, and 2.1.1.

Dec 22, 2025Fedify is a TypeScript library for building federated server apps powered by ActivityPub.CVE-2025-68475 · Other software · fedify-dev · reported by GitHubHigh 7.5
Fedify is a TypeScript library for building federated server apps powered by ActivityPub. Prior to versions 1.6.13, 1.7.14, 1.8.15, and 1.9.2, a Regular Expression Denial of Service (ReDoS) vulnerability exists in Fedify's document loader. The HTML parsing regex at packages/fedify/src/runtime/docloader.ts:259 contains nested quantifiers that cause catastrophic backtracking when processing maliciously crafted HTML responses. This issue has been patched in versions 1.6.13, 1.7.14, 1.8.15, and 1.9.2.

Aug 8, 2025Fedify is a TypeScript library for building federated server apps powered by ActivityPub.CVE-2025-54888 · Other software · fedify-dev · reported by GitHubHigh 8.7
Fedify is a TypeScript library for building federated server apps powered by ActivityPub. In versions below 1.3.20, 1.4.0-dev.585 through 1.4.12, 1.5.0-dev.636 through 1.5.4, 1.6.0-dev.754 through 1.6.7, 1.7.0-pr.251.885 through 1.7.8 and 1.8.0-dev.909 through 1.8.4, an authentication bypass vulnerability allows any unauthenticated attacker to impersonate any ActivityPub actor by sending forged activities signed with their own keys. Activities are processed before verifying the signing key belongs to the claimed actor, enabling complete actor impersonation across all Fedify instances. This is fixed in versions 1.3.20, 1.4.13, 1.5.5, 1.6.8, 1.7.9 and 1.8.5.

Jan 20, 2025Fedify is a TypeScript library for building federated server apps powered by ActivityPub and other standards.CVE-2025-23221 · Other software · dahlia · reported by GitHubMedium 5.4
Fedify is a TypeScript library for building federated server apps powered by ActivityPub and other standards. This vulnerability allows a user to maneuver the Webfinger mechanism to perform a GET request to any internal resource on any Host, Port, URL combination regardless of present security mechanisms, and forcing the victim’s server into an infinite loop causing Denial of Service. Moreover, this issue can also be maneuvered into performing a Blind SSRF attack. This vulnerability is fixed in 1.0.14, 1.1.11, 1.2.11, and 1.3.4.

Jul 5, 2024Fedify is a TypeScript library for building federated server apps powered by ActivityPub and other standards.CVE-2024-39687 · Other software · dahlia · reported by GitHubHigh 7.2
Fedify is a TypeScript library for building federated server apps powered by ActivityPub and other standards. At present, when Fedify needs to retrieve an object or activity from a remote activitypub server, it makes a HTTP request to the `@id` or other resources present within the activity it has received from the web. This activity could reference an `@id` that points to an internal IP address, allowing an attacker to send request to resources internal to the fedify server's network. This applies to not just resolution of documents containing activities or objects, but also to media URLs as well. Specifically this is a Server Side Request Forgery attack. Users should upgrade to Fedify version 0.9.2, 0.10.1, or 0.11.1 to receive a patch for this issue.

Where this comes from: the exploited list is CISA’s Known Exploited Vulnerabilities catalog. Everything else is the whole National Vulnerability Database, where each record is published by the team that found the bug (Wordfence, Patchstack, WPScan, the vendors themselves and others); we show who. Exploit odds are FIRST’s EPSS, updated daily. Titles and categories are ours, so check the linked record before acting on a detail. For a write-up of the big ones, see our advisories. Every vendor, and every WordPress plugin and theme with a recorded flaw, also has its own page. All of it is free to reuse as JSON, CSV or RSS.
