Oct 23, 2026In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: gpio: exar: initialize the ID before registering its cleanup devm_add_action_or_reset() inCVE-2026-98971 · Computers, phones & browsers · Linux · reported by 416baaa9-dc9f-4396-8d5f-8c081fb06d67
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: gpio: exar: initialize the ID before registering its cleanup devm_add_action_or_reset() invokes the cleanup action immediately when registering the action fails. gpio_exar_probe() currently stores the allocated ID in exar_gpio only after registering the action, so that failure makes exar_devm_ida_free() release ID 0. If the allocated ID is nonzero, this leaks that ID and can free ID 0 belonging to another device. Store the ID before registering the cleanup action so both the immediate failure path and normal device teardown release the correct allocation.

Oct 23, 2026In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: mailbox: imx: Use devm_pm_runtime_enable() sashiko complained about early usage of the devCVE-2026-98904 · Computers, phones & browsers · Linux · reported by 416baaa9-dc9f-4396-8d5f-8c081fb06d67
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: mailbox: imx: Use devm_pm_runtime_enable() sashiko complained about early usage of the device while probe isn't completed. This can be mitigated by delaying the pm_runtime_enable() into the removal path instead doing it early. This ensures that in an error case the device is removed (and imx_mu_shutdown()) before pm_runtime_disable() so we don't have to do this manually. For the order to work, lets move devm_mbox_controller_register() until after the pm-runtime part. So the reverse order will be mbox-controller removal followed by disabling pm runtime. Use devm_pm_runtime_enable(), remove manual pm_runtime_disable() invocations and move the pm_runtime handling in probe before devm_mbox_controller_register().

Oct 21, 2026The device multiplexer pseudo-driver in drivers/misc/devmux/devmux.c exposes two system calls, devmux_select_get() and devmux_select_set().CVE-2026-19947 · Other software · zephyrproject · reported by vulnerabilities@zephyrproject.orgMedium 5.3
The device multiplexer pseudo-driver in drivers/misc/devmux/devmux.c exposes two system calls, devmux_select_get() and devmux_select_set(). When CONFIG_USERSPACE is enabled, their user-mode verifiers z_vrfy_devmux_select_get() and z_vrfy_devmux_select_set() forwarded directly to the kernel implementations without performing any kernel-object validation — no k_object_access_check() and no driver object check. Compounding this, DEVICE_DT_INST_DEFINE() registered devmux instances with a NULL driver API pointer, which causes scripts/build/gen_kobject_list.py to skip them entirely, so a devmux device had no struct k_object and no permission on it could be granted or withheld in the first place. Any thread running in user mode can reach the defect: device pointers such as DEVICE_DT_GET(DT_NODELABEL(devmux0)) are compile-time constants available to application code, and the syscall accepted them from a thread that had never been granted access to the device. The kernel implementations do validate the pointer against the static devmux instance table and bounds-check the selection index, so this is not a memory-safety issue; the failure is purely one of authorization. Exposure requires CON

Oct 18, 2026In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: rtc: mpfs: fix unchecked devm_clk_get() error pointer in probe() devm_clk_get(&pdev->dev, CVE-2026-98825 · Computers, phones & browsers · Linux · reported by 416baaa9-dc9f-4396-8d5f-8c081fb06d67
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: rtc: mpfs: fix unchecked devm_clk_get() error pointer in probe() devm_clk_get(&pdev->dev, "rtcref")'s return value was passed straight into clk_get_rate() without checking it for an error first, unlike the "rtc" clock a few lines above which is correctly checked with IS_ERR(). clk_get_rate() only guards against a NULL clk, not an error pointer: if (!clk) return 0; ... rate = clk_core_get_rate_recalc(clk->core); so if devm_clk_get() ever returns an error pointer here (for example ERR_PTR(-EPROBE_DEFER), which is the normal, expected outcome if the clkcfg clock-provider this RTC depends on has not registered its clocks yet by the time this driver probes), clk_get_rate() dereferences that error pointer instead of returning 0, crashing instead of letting probe defer. Capture the clock in the existing 'clk' local and check it with IS_ERR() before calling clk_get_rate(), matching the handling already used for the "rtc" clock in this same function.

Sep 26, 2026vm2 before 3.12.2 contains an authorization bypass in the NodeVM external-module resolver.CVE-2026-100721 · Other software · patriksimek · reported by VulnCheckCritical 9.5
vm2 before 3.12.2 contains an authorization bypass in the NodeVM external-module resolver. When an embedder configures `require.external` with a custom resolver (and `context: 'host'`), `LegacyResolver.customResolve` in lib/resolver-compat.js records the resolved module directory in `this.externals` as `new RegExp('^' + escapeRegExp(resolvedPath))`, without requiring a path separator or end-of-string boundary. Untrusted guest code can therefore require the allowlisted module (e.g. `foo`) and then require the absolute path of a non-allowlisted sibling whose path merely shares the resolved prefix (e.g. `.../node_modules/foo2/index.js`); the sibling passes `isPathAllowedForModule` and is loaded through `hostRequire`, so its top-level code runs in the host process before the exports are wrapped with `vm.readonly`, resulting in a sandbox escape and arbitrary code execution in the host context.

Sep 24, 2026In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: thermal/drivers/tegra/soctherma: Switch to devm cooling device registration Use devm_thermCVE-2026-97475 · Computers, phones & browsers · Linux · reported by 416baaa9-dc9f-4396-8d5f-8c081fb06d67
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: thermal/drivers/tegra/soctherma: Switch to devm cooling device registration Use devm_thermal_of_cooling_device_register() to simplify resource management and avoid manual cleanup in error paths. As a side effect this change has the benefit of solving an existing issue. Before, the function tegra_soctherm_remove() only called debugfs_remove_recursive() and never called thermal_cooling_device_unregister() for any of the cooling devices registered here. After the driver removal, the thermal framework's cdev list would still hold references to thermal_cooling_device objects whose devdata pointer (ts) pointed to memory already freed by the platform device's devm cleanup. With this change, the cooling device is unregistered when the driver is removed, thus fixing the issue above.

Sep 24, 2026In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: phy: renesas: phy-rcar-gen3-usb2: Fix devm action registration for disabled VBUS regulator CVE-2026-93276 · Computers, phones & browsers · Linux · reported by 416baaa9-dc9f-4396-8d5f-8c081fb06d67
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: phy: renesas: phy-rcar-gen3-usb2: Fix devm action registration for disabled VBUS regulator devm_regulator_get_exclusive() initialises the regulator with enable_count = 1, requiring the consumer to disable it before release. The devm disable action was previously only registered when the caller explicitly requested enable, so when the regulator was left in its initial enabled state without an explicit enable call, the cleanup path skipped decrementing enable_count, triggering a WARN_ON during regulator release on device removal. Fix this by always registering the devm disable action based on the actual enabled state via regulator_is_enabled(), regardless of whether the caller requested an explicit enable. This covers both the explicitly enabled case and the initial state set by devm_regulator_get_exclusive().

In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: pinctrl: bcm2835: Don't remove an unregistered GPIO chip If the devm_pinctrl_register() function fails, bcm2835_pinctrl_probe() calls gpiochip_remove() before gpiochip_add_data() has registered the GPIO chip. This means that upon failure the gpio_chip.gpiodev is NULL resulting in a null pointer dereference inside the gpiochip_remove() function. Remove the unnecessary function call to gpiochip_remove(). No GPIO cleanup is required because the GPIO chip has not yet been registered. Without this change there is potential for a kernel panic upon registration failure

Sep 24, 2026In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: iommu/arm-smmu-v3: Manage teardown with devm arm_smmu_device_remove() manually frees the ICVE-2026-93205 · Computers, phones & browsers · Linux · reported by 416baaa9-dc9f-4396-8d5f-8c081fb06d67
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: iommu/arm-smmu-v3: Manage teardown with devm arm_smmu_device_remove() manually frees the IOPF queue, destroys the vmid_map and disables the device, while the IRQs and queues are devm managed. devm unwinds only after remove() returns, so the cleanup runs in the wrong order. The IOPF queue is freed before the event-queue IRQ whose handler uses it. Manage all of it with devm so the unwind order is correct. Free the IOPF queue and vmid_map via devm actions, and disable the device from one registered after arm_smmu_device_reset(). This is also a prerequisite for fixing a Tegra241 CMDQV CMD_SYNC use-after-free in the subsequent patch.

Sep 22, 2026mppx is a TypeScript interface for machine payments protocol.CVE-2026-63628 · Other software · wevm · reported by GitHubMedium 6.9
mppx is a TypeScript interface for machine payments protocol. Prior to 0.8.2, the fee-payer cosigning path in src/tempo/internal/fee-payer.ts copied a client-supplied access_list from a 0x78 FeePayerEnvelope without validating its length or contents. Because EIP-2930 access-list entries consume intrinsic gas even when the listed addresses are never used, a client could add fabricated address-only entries and cause the server fee_payer wallet to pay unnecessary transaction fees. The demonstrated 180-entry list remained within the 500,000 gas policy cap, 16 KB header limit, and RPC simulation budget while increasing the fee by approximately 9.4 times. This issue is fixed in version 0.8.2.

Sep 22, 2026mppx is a TypeScript interface for machine payments protocol.CVE-2026-63627 · Other software · wevm · reported by GitHubMedium 6.9
mppx is a TypeScript interface for machine payments protocol. Prior to 0.8.2, FeePayerPolicy in src/tempo/internal/fee-payer.ts used decodeFunctionData to validate fee-sponsored calldata but did not reject trailing bytes. A client could append nonzero padding that increased intrinsic calldata gas while gas_limit and max_fee_per_gas remained within policy caps, causing the server fee_payer wallet to pay substantially more than the decoded transaction required. The tested 16 KB header limit bounded the demonstrated padding to about 5,500 bytes and produced approximately five times the normal transaction fee. This issue is fixed in version 0.8.2.

Sep 18, 2026vm2 (npm) versions 3.12.0 and earlier contain a sandbox escape in `VM` and `NodeVM`.CVE-2026-93606 · Other software · patriksimek · reported by VulnCheckCritical 10
vm2 (npm) versions 3.12.0 and earlier contain a sandbox escape in `VM` and `NodeVM`. When an embedder exposes a host API that returns a host-realm Promise, the bridge's rejection sanitizer (hostPromiseSanitizeReject / makeSanitizedPromiseCallback / normalizeHostPromiseCallbacks in lib/bridge.js) only wraps `then`/`catch` rejection slots that hold a function, and the sandbox-side `Symbol.species`/`.then` neutralization is installed only on the sandbox intrinsic `Promise.prototype`, so it never applies to a host Promise. Code running inside the sandbox can overwrite `p.constructor[Symbol.species]` on the host Promise and then call `p.then()` with no `onRejected` handler; V8 substitutes its internal Thrower, which re-throws the raw host rejection value into a resolve/reject closure captured by the attacker. This delivers an unsanitized, fully functional bridge proxy of the host object to sandboxed code, bypassing handleException and hostPromiseSanitizeReject. If the rejection value is host-pivotable (for example a host `process` object), this results in arbitrary code execution on the host. Fixed in 3.12.1.

Sep 18, 2026vm2 through 3.12.0 exposes Node.js's crypto.setFips() function to untrusted guest code when an embedder explicitly allowlists the crypto builtin for a NodeVM (rCVE-2026-93604 · Other software · patriksimek · reported by VulnCheckMedium 6.9
vm2 through 3.12.0 exposes Node.js's crypto.setFips() function to untrusted guest code when an embedder explicitly allowlists the crypto builtin for a NodeVM (require.builtin: ['crypto']). The builtin sanitizer (sanitizeCryptoModule in lib/builtin.js) replaces crypto.setEngine but leaves crypto.setFips callable, and the readonly wrapper used to expose the host module does not localize side effects of forwarded host functions. Guest code can therefore call crypto.setFips() to change the FIPS mode of the entire host process; the modified mode is subsequently observed by trusted host code (crypto.getFips() changed from 0 to 1 in the reported test), crossing the NodeVM isolation boundary. Fixed in vm2 3.12.1.

In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: pinctrl: mediatek: use devm_gpiochip_add_data() for GPIO chip The gpio_chip is allocated with device-managed memory but registered with the non-managed gpiochip_add_data(). This was harmless while the drivers were built-in, but once they can be built as modules and unbound/rmmod'd, devm frees the gpio_chip's memory while it is still registered, causing a use-after-free. Register it with devm_gpiochip_add_data() so it shares the same device-managed lifecycle, which also lets the manual gpiochip_remove() error paths go away.

In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: iommu/tegra241-cmdqv: Don't fall back to a freed smmu after devm_krealloc() __tegra241_cmdqv_probe() uses devm_krealloc() to grow @smmu into the larger tegra241_cmdqv, which frees the original @smmu once it relocates. A failure after that returned NULL, and the caller then dereferenced the freed @smmu on its fallback path. Return an int and take @smmu by reference instead, then update *smmu to the reallocated pointer after devm_krealloc() succeeds, so the caller and its fallback path both use the live @smmu rather than the freed original.

In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: tcp: reject non zerocopy devmem tx Devmem tcp tx doesn't work without zero-copy, however it's not currently enforced if NETIF_F_SG isn't present. In this case, tcp_sendmsg_locked() will try the copy path and try to copy data from an iovec which consists of offsets into the dma-buf and would normally fail. Moreover, d9c56501c72fd ("net: tcp: block mixing readable and unreadable frags") relies on that and assumes that the devmem binding is present IFF we're using the zero-copy path, which can be used to mix net-iov and pages in a single skb, and break invariants. Let's reject devmem tx without zero-copy. Note, the parameter check the patch is modifying is too loose, we can create an io_uring request with dmabuf_id and all ZC flags, but which won't have the binding. We replace it with stricter validation.

Sep 17, 2026vm2 before 3.11.8 does not fully enforce the allowAsync: false option in VM and NodeVM.CVE-2026-92959 · Other software · patriksimek · reported by VulnCheckHigh 7.1
vm2 before 3.11.8 does not fully enforce the allowAsync: false option in VM and NodeVM. While localPromise.prototype.then is replaced with a handler that throws 'Async not available', the sandbox's Promise static methods (Promise.resolve, Promise.all, Promise.race, Promise.any, and Promise.allSettled) still assimilate attacker-supplied thenables: native promise resolution performs PromiseResolveThenableJob and invokes the sandboxed code's then method in a microtask without passing through the patched then, so the async restriction is never applied. As a result, sandboxed script can schedule work that runs after VM.run() or NodeVM.run() has returned and outside the configured timeout, continuing to execute after the host believes execution is complete.

Sep 17, 2026vm2 through 3.11.6 contains a builtin-module denylist bypass in NodeVM.CVE-2026-92958 · Other software · patriksimek · reported by VulnCheckHigh 8.4
vm2 through 3.11.6 contains a builtin-module denylist bypass in NodeVM. When the embedder uses the builtin wildcard together with negative entries (e.g. require: { builtin: ['*', '-fs', '-child_process'] }), negative entries are matched by exact module name in lib/builtin.js, so -fs removes only the builtin named fs and does not remove builtin subpaths such as fs/promises. Sandboxed code can therefore call require('fs/promises') or require('node:fs/promises') and reach the promise-based filesystem API despite fs being denied; node: prefix handling is likewise inconsistent (a -node:fs/promises entry does not block require('fs/promises')). Host file creation and writing were confirmed via fsp.writeFile(), and other fs/promises operations (cp, mkdir, rename, rm, rmdir, truncate, read operations, etc.) are also reachable. This issue is fixed in vm2 3.11.7.

Although NodeVM strips the `node:` prefix during require() resolution, negative wildcard entries are matched by exact string comparison against the canonical builtin names, so a policy such as `new NodeVM({ require: { builtin: ['*', '-node:child_process'] } })` fails to deny the canonical `child_process` module. Sandboxed code can therefore obtain the host `child_process` builtin via `require('child_process')` or `require('node:child_process')`, gaining references to process-spawning APIs such as execSync and spawn, which is equivalent to host command-execution capability for untrusted sandbox code. Fixed in vm2 3.11.7.

Sep 17, 2026vm2 versions >= 3.9.6 and <= 3.11.6 are affected by a NodeVM builtin allowlist bypass that permits a sandbox escape on Node.js 24 and newer when the embedder exCVE-2026-92948 · Other software · patriksimek · reported by VulnCheckCritical 9.4
vm2 versions >= 3.9.6 and <= 3.11.6 are affected by a NodeVM builtin allowlist bypass that permits a sandbox escape on Node.js 24 and newer when the embedder explicitly allows the node:test builtin (e.g. require: { builtin: ['node:test'] }). On Node.js 24+, module.builtinModules exposes the scheme-only key node:test, which is not covered by vm2's family-based DANGEROUS_BUILTINS protection, so it is stored in the generic host-passthrough loader. Because requireImpl() in lib/setup-node-sandbox.js strips a single 'node:' prefix before the builtin lookup, sandbox code calling require('node:node:test') resolves to the stored node:test key and receives a readonly proxy to the host module. Calls to node:test.run() are forwarded to the host implementation, which spawns a separate Node process for process-isolated test execution and passes through attacker-controlled execArgv values; supplying --eval=<JavaScript> therefore executes arbitrary JavaScript in an unrestricted host Node process outside the NodeVM sandbox. Fixed in vm2 3.11.7.

Sep 17, 2026vm2 versions 3.11.3 through 3.11.6 expose the host process's real https.globalAgent to sandboxed code when a NodeVM is explicitly configured to allow require('hCVE-2026-92940 · Other software · patriksimek · reported by VulnCheckCritical 10
vm2 versions 3.11.3 through 3.11.6 expose the host process's real https.globalAgent to sandboxed code when a NodeVM is explicitly configured to allow require('https'). The builtin loader wraps host modules in a read-only proxy, but method calls such as Agent.prototype.on() are forwarded to the underlying host object, so sandbox code can register a listener for the agent's 'free' event. When an unrelated host HTTPS request releases a pooled connection, the listener receives the live host request options and the host TLSSocket, allowing sandboxed code to read the host's Authorization header and private destination host/port, attach a data listener to the released socket and read subsequent host response bodies in plaintext, and issue attacker-chosen authenticated requests using the stolen credentials. The issue is fixed in 3.11.7.

Sep 17, 2026vm2 3.11.3 through 3.11.6 exposes the host Node.js crypto module to a NodeVM sandbox when the crypto builtin is allowed.CVE-2026-92939 · Other software · patriksimek · reported by VulnCheckCritical 9.4
vm2 3.11.3 through 3.11.6 exposes the host Node.js crypto module to a NodeVM sandbox when the crypto builtin is allowed. The module is presented via a recursive read-only proxy, but its callable exports still execute with host-process authority. Sandboxed JavaScript can therefore call crypto.setEngine() with a filesystem path to an attacker-supplied native library (for example, one bundled in an untrusted plugin package already written to disk); OpenSSL asks the operating-system dynamic loader to load the file, and the library's constructor executes native code in the host process before engine-symbol validation rejects it. Exploitation requires only the crypto builtin and does not require fs, process, module, child_process, worker_threads, vm, or inspector access, resulting in a sandbox escape and arbitrary native code execution. Fixed in 3.11.7.

Sep 17, 2026vm2 versions 3.11.3 through 3.11.6 expose Node.js's host node:sqlite module to code running in NodeVM when that builtin is permitted, either explicitly or throuCVE-2026-92938 · Other software · patriksimek · reported by VulnCheckCritical 9.4
vm2 versions 3.11.3 through 3.11.6 expose Node.js's host node:sqlite module to code running in NodeVM when that builtin is permitted, either explicitly or through builtin: ['*']. The module is wrapped with vm.readonly(), which prevents property assignment but leaves host-authority callables reachable; in addition, the resolver treats any request starting with 'node:' as a core-module request and the runtime strips only one 'node:' prefix, so a sandbox request for 'node:node:sqlite' resolves to the configured node:sqlite entry. Sandboxed code can therefore create an in-memory DatabaseSync with extension loading enabled and call DatabaseSync.loadExtension() on a native library bundled in the untrusted plugin package (path derived from __dirname). SQLite loads the library into the Node.js host process and invokes its native entry point, giving the sandboxed plugin arbitrary native code execution outside the sandbox with the host process's privileges. The issue is fixed in vm2 3.11.7.

In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: serial: imx: serialize imx_uart_ports[] lifetime imx_uart_probe() publishes its devm-allocated port in imx_uart_ports[] before uart_add_one_port() because console setup uses the table. The entry is not cleared when adding the port fails or after removal, leaving a dangling pointer. A sibling probe can register the shared console through that stale entry. This was reproduced under KASAN on QEMU mcimx6ul-evk by unbinding a sibling UART, unbinding the console UART and rebinding the sibling. Keep the entry valid through uart_remove_one_port(), then clear it. Protect port addition and removal together with their table updates so sibling operations cannot interleave. Reject an occupied slot rather than clobbering an active port during a duplicate-line probe.

In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: HID: mcp2221: stop device IO before hid_hw_stop Quiesce device IO at the start of the devm cleanup callback mcp2221_hid_unregister() so that incoming HID reports cannot race with hardware teardown during probe failure or device removal, addressing a potential use-after-free. Guard the call to hid_device_io_stop() with io_started. On normal removal hid_device_remove() has already cleared io_started before the devres group is released, so an unconditional call would otherwise hit the !io_started path and emit a spurious "io already stopped" warning on every removal. The guard preserves the probe-failure balancing, where io_started is still set after hid_device_io_start(), while staying silent on the normal removal path.

In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: power: supply: bq24257: fix use-after-free on remove The STAT-pin interrupt is devm-managed, so it stays armed until the devm cleanup that runs after remove() returns. remove() cancels bq->iilimit_setup_work while the threaded handler can still fire; that handler reschedules the work and dereferences bq, so the work runs against freed memory once devm frees bq. Make the delayed work device-managed with devm_delayed_work_autocancel(), registered before the interrupt request. The devm cleanup then releases the interrupt first, so the handler can no longer reschedule the work, and cancels the work before bq is freed. The explicit cancel_delayed_work_sync() in remove() is no longer needed and is dropped. Found by static analysis.

Sep 11, 2026In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: power: supply: twl4030_charger: cancel workers via devm bci is devm-allocated.CVE-2026-89464 · Computers, phones & browsers · Linux · reported by 416baaa9-dc9f-4396-8d5f-8c081fb06d67
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: power: supply: twl4030_charger: cancel workers via devm bci is devm-allocated. Two workers (bci->work and bci->current_worker) dereference it. twl4030_bci_remove() disables charging and masks interrupts. It cancels neither worker. A worker pending at remove() can run after devm frees bci. The USB transceiver comes from devm_usb_get_phy_by_node(). devm unregisters its notifier only after remove() returns. A cancel_work_sync() in remove() can then race a notifier reschedule. devm_work_autocancel() and devm_delayed_work_autocancel() avoid that. They cancel the workers during devm release, before bci is freed. The current_worker is registered first, since devm will cancel in reverse order and bci->work can reschedule current_worker. In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: iommu/msm: Unwind probe state on registration failure msm_iommu_probe() adds its devm-managed IOMMU object to qcom_iommu_devices before adding the IOMMU sysfs device and registering it with the IOMMU core. If iommu_device_sysfs_add() fails, probe returns with the object still on qcom_iommu_devices. The driver core then releases the devm allocation, leaving a dangling list entry that later list walks may dereference. If iommu_device_register() fails, the same dangling list entry remains and the sysfs device is left registered as well. Unwind the sysfs device and global list entry in reverse setup order on the corresponding failure paths.

Aug 13, 2026OpenZeppelin Confidential Contracts is an experimental library for developing applications on the Zama fhEVM.CVE-2026-73645 · Other software · OpenZeppelin · reported by GitHubMedium 6.6
OpenZeppelin Confidential Contracts is an experimental library for developing applications on the Zama fhEVM. Prior to 0.3.1, the ERC7984 contract tracked confidential total supply with an euint64 value, and an overflowing internal _mint operation could fail silently. The wrap and onTransferReceived functions in contracts/token/ERC7984/extensions/ERC7984ERC20Wrapper.sol did not handle that failure, so a user could transfer the underlying token without receiving the corresponding confidential wrapped token. With the default rate(), the wrapper fills after approximately 18.4 trillion tokens, and subsequent wrapping requests can cause loss of funds. This issue is fixed in version 0.3.1.
