Oct 21, 2026odf-kit allows users to generate, fill, read, and convert OpenDocument Format files (.odt, .ods) in TypeScript and JavaScript.CVE-2026-113787 · Other software · GitHubNewbie0 · reported by GitHubMedium 6.1
odf-kit allows users to generate, fill, read, and convert OpenDocument Format files (.odt, .ods) in TypeScript and JavaScript. Starting in version 0.6.0 and prior to version 0.14.2, he renderer has an `escapeHtml()` helper and applies it consistently to text content and to attribute values — `href`, `src`, `alt`, `id`, `data-author`, `data-date`, citation text all go through it. The inline CSS strings do not. In `renderTextSpan` (`dist/odt/to-html/html-renderer.js:195`), the value of e.g. `fo:color` is copied from the document into `style.fontColor` verbatim by the parser (`extractSpanStyle`, read/parser.js:348), then concatenated raw into the attribute. A `"` in the value terminates the attribute early. The same unescaped `style="${...}"` pattern appears at roughly ten other emission sites: paragraph and heading (`paragraphStyleToCss`), table cells and rows (`cellStyleToCss`, `rowStyleToCss`), `<col>`, and the image style attribute. The affected source attributes include `fo:color`, `fo:background-color`, `fo:text-shadow`, `fo:letter-spacing`, `fo:font-family` (via both direct and font-face resolution), `fo:margin-*`, `fo:padding-*`, `fo:line-height`, `fo:border*`, and `style:vert

Oct 11, 2026The NXP MCUX TRNG entropy driver in drivers/entropy/entropy_mcux_trng.c passed the caller's byte count straight to the vendor SDK routine TRNG_GetRandomData().CVE-2026-19736 · Other software · zephyrproject · reported by vulnerabilities@zephyrproject.orgHigh 7.8
The NXP MCUX TRNG entropy driver in drivers/entropy/entropy_mcux_trng.c passed the caller's byte count straight to the vendor SDK routine TRNG_GetRandomData(). On i.MX RT5xx and RT6xx parts the SDK compiles its TRNG_SW_HEALTH_TESTS variant, which always copies whole 32-bit words and draws entropy rounded up to a multiple of 128 bytes. Its "caller buffer is full" guard tests dataSize == 0, so a request whose length is not a multiple of four makes dataSize underflow past zero and the SDK keeps writing into the caller's buffer for the entire extraction: a 1-byte request results in 128 bytes written, and any non-word-multiple length overflows by up to 127 bytes. entropy_get_entropy() is a syscall, and its verifier in drivers/entropy/entropy_handlers.c validates only the requested length via K_SYSCALL_MEMORY_WRITE(). With CONFIG_USERSPACE enabled, an unprivileged user-mode thread that has merely been granted the entropy device can therefore choose both the destination address and a length such as 1, and cause the kernel to write up to 127 bytes beyond the region it proved it owns. On these Cortex-M33 targets there is no MMU, so user partitions and kernel data share one SRAM and the ove

In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: Bluetooth: hci_codec: validate vendor codec count length The Read Local Supported Codecs parsers consume the variable-sized standard codec array before parsing the vendor codec count. Although the initial reply-size check includes a vendor count byte in the fixed layout, it does not guarantee that the byte remains after the standard codec array. If a controller reply ends immediately after that array, calculating the vendor codec array size reads vnd_codecs->num beyond the skb data. Use skb_pull_data() to validate and consume each codec header before using its count in both command variants.

This is due to insufficient escaping on the user supplied parameter and lack of sufficient preparation on the existing SQL query — the value is concatenated directly into an ORDER BY clause where esc_sql() (which only neutralizes characters needed to break out of quoted string literals) provides no protection. This makes it possible for authenticated attackers, with vendor-level access and above (users granted the 'edit_stores' capability), to append additional SQL queries into already existing queries that can be used to extract sensitive information from the database.

Flatpak passes through arbitrary vendor-extension keys unmodified when exporting an application's Desktop Entry (.desktop) and D-Bus Service (.service) files, instead of validating against an allowlist. A malicious Flatpak app can use this to cause denial of service (e.g. forced application restart loops) or to influence host D-Bus/systemd activation behavior beyond what the sandbox is intended to permit.

In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: scsi: qla2xxx: Validate BSG request_len before reading vendor_cmd[] The FC BSG transport allocates job->request via memdup_user() using the exact user-supplied request_len. For FC_BSG_HST_VENDOR, fc_bsg_host_dispatch() only guarantees request_len covers msgcode and vendor_id; it does not account for the vendor_cmd[] flexible array. qla2xxx then reads the command selector vendor_cmd[0] and, in several sub-handlers, vendor_cmd[1]/[2] or structures overlaid on the vendor command area without verifying request_len. A caller holding CAP_SYS_RAWIO can submit a short request whose vendor_id matches the host, triggering out-of-bounds heap reads (KASAN-detectable, and able to mis-select a command or panic). Add a central guard in qla2x00_process_vendor_specific() so the selector is always in bounds, restrict the early vendor_cmd[0] read in qla24xx_bsg_request() to sufficiently long vendor messages, and add request_len checks to the sub-handlers that read further: qla24xx_proc_fcp_prio_cfg_cmd(), qla2x00_process_loopback(), qla84xx_reset(), qla84xx_updatefw(), qla2x00_read_optrom(), qla2x00_update_optrom(), qlafx00_mgmt_

OpenTelemetry, also known as OTel, is a vendor-neutral open source Observability framework for instrumenting, generating, collecting, and exporting telemetry data such as traces, metrics, and logs. Prior to 0.154.0, the Sentry exporter reads the remote OTLP sender-controlled service.name resource attribute in exporter/sentryexporter/sentry_exporter.go through extractProjectSlug and getOrCreateProjectEndpoint, passes the raw project slug to GetOTLPEndpoints and GetProjectKeys in exporter/sentryexporter/sentry_client.go, and interpolates it into a Sentry API URL without applying projectSlugRegexp through validateRoutingConfig at runtime in exporter/sentryexporter/config.go. Special characters can turn the expected path suffix into query data in all deployments or introduce slash and dot segments that traverse paths when the Sentry deployment normalizes them, while the Collector attaches its operator-configured bearer token to the request. A successful request can reach token-authorized administrative, organization, member, or key endpoints within the configured Sentry organization, and an attacker-controlled project slug can redirect subsequently exported telemetry. Sep 10, 2026The Sierra Wireless HL78xx modem GNSS driver (drivers/modem/hl78xx/, later drivers/modem/vendor_standalone/hl78xx/) embeds a generic struct gnss_nmea0183_match_CVE-2026-15461 · Other software · zephyrproject · reported by vulnerabilities@zephyrproject.orgMedium 5.3
The Sierra Wireless HL78xx modem GNSS driver (drivers/modem/hl78xx/, later drivers/modem/vendor_standalone/hl78xx/) embeds a generic struct gnss_nmea0183_match_data match_data inside struct hl78xx_gnss_data. The generic NMEA0183 match helper (drivers/gnss/gnss_nmea0183_match.c) requires that context to be the first member because its callbacks cast user_data directly to struct gnss_nmea0183_match_data . In the affected releases match_data was the second member (after const struct device dev), so it sat at a non-zero offset while gnss_nmea0183_match_init() initialized it at the correct address. The registered NMEA handlers instead pass the whole device data object (data->devices.gnss->data, offset 0), producing an offset-shifted type confusion between where state is initialized and where the parse callbacks read and write it. When NMEA sentences from the GNSS receiver are parsed, the GGA/RMC callbacks write parsed fix data into the wrong location within the struct, and the GSV callback (gnss_nmea0183_match_gsv_callback, active under CONFIG_GNSS_SATELLITES) reads its satellites pointer and bound from the wrong offsets — non-pointer bytes of struct hl78xx_gnss_data — and then writes

Sep 4, 2026In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: HID: nintendo: fix out-of-bounds read in joycon_ctlr_read_handler() joycon_ctlr_read_handlCVE-2026-80772 · Computers, phones & browsers · Linux · reported by 416baaa9-dc9f-4396-8d5f-8c081fb06d67
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: HID: nintendo: fix out-of-bounds read in joycon_ctlr_read_handler() joycon_ctlr_read_handler() casts an incoming HID input report to struct joycon_input_report and parses it, guarding the cast only with a 12-byte length check: if (size >= 12) /* make sure it contains the input report */ joycon_parse_report(ctlr, (struct joycon_input_report *)data); struct joycon_input_report is 49 bytes: a 13-byte header followed by a union whose IMU arm is 36 bytes. For an IMU report joycon_parse_report() -> joycon_parse_imu_report() walks that union (struct offsets 13..48), so a report of exactly 12 bytes with data[0] == JC_INPUT_IMU_DATA passes the guard yet is read up to 37 bytes past its declared length. The over-read bytes are decoded into accelerometer/gyroscope values and forwarded to userspace through the "(IMU)" input device, leaking driver-internal memory. data[0] and size are fully controlled by a malicious or spoofed Joy-Con/Pro Controller. Receive buffers are sized to the maximum report length, so this is an over-read within the allocation rather than a slab OOB, but the decoded bytes still reach userspace. T

Sep 4, 2026In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: HID: nintendo: register input device after capabilities are set input_register_device() exCVE-2026-80771 · Computers, phones & browsers · Linux · reported by 416baaa9-dc9f-4396-8d5f-8c081fb06d67
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: HID: nintendo: register input device after capabilities are set input_register_device() exposes the device to userspace immediately. In joycon_input_create() it was called before joycon_config_rumble() configures the FF_RUMBLE capability and the memless force-feedback device, so a concurrent EVIOCSFF could dereference a NULL dev->ff. Registering early also means the initial udev event lacks button and axis information, which can make input managers ignore the device. Move input_register_device() to the end of joycon_input_create(), after all capabilities, the IMU input device and the force-feedback callbacks have been configured.
