  • Oct 13, 2026The unstructured library provides open-source components for ingesting and pre-processing images and text documents, such as PDFs, HTML, Word docs, and many morCVE-2026-104250 · Other software · Unstructured-IO · reported by GitHubMedium 6.1

The unstructured library provides open-source components for ingesting and pre-processing images and text documents, such as PDFs, HTML, Word docs, and many more. Prior to 0.24.1, partition_html(html_parser_version="v2") and the VLM partitioner can preserve untrusted document tags, attributes, text, and link targets in metadata.text_as_html, while elements_to_html() emits the result as an HTML document. The to_html() path in unstructured/documents/ontology.py does not escape output or reject unsafe URL schemes, allowing event-handler attributes, attribute breakout markup, and javascript: links to survive parsing. When the generated HTML or text_as_html is rendered in a browser, attacker-controlled script can execute in the viewer's origin, including in document-ingestion workflows where a privileged reviewer opens submitted content. This issue is fixed in version 0.24.1.

  • Oct 13, 2026The Salty documentation repository builds and deploys the docs.saltbox.dev website.CVE-2026-55675 · Other software · saltyorg · reported by GitHubCritical 10

The Salty documentation repository builds and deploys the docs.saltbox.dev website. Prior to commit 649c9aea2daef1168eeb0415b44e65dbbde9f220, .github/workflows/trigger-pr-build.yml records an untrusted fork commit in the pr_info artifact, and the secret-bearing workflow_run job in .github/workflows/build-pr.yml checks out that commit before running pip install -r requirements.txt. A fork pull request can therefore supply attacker-authored setup.py or PEP 517 build hooks whose installation code executes in the privileged base-repository workflow with CF_API_TOKEN, GH_TOKEN, MKDOCS_GIT_COMMITTERS_APIKEY, and a write-capable GITHUB_TOKEN, allowing secret disclosure and follow-on compromise. The vulnerability is not caused by the repository-fork guard, and the demonstrated path requires attacker control of fork content rather than merely the artifact metadata. This vulnerability is fixed with commit 649c9aea2daef1168eeb0415b44e65dbbde9f220.

  • Sep 24, 2026LaSuite Doc is a collaborative note taking, wiki and documentation platform.CVE-2026-76907 · Other software · suitenumerique · reported by GitHubMedium 6.5

LaSuite Doc is a collaborative note taking, wiki and documentation platform. From 4.8.2 until 5.4.0, GET /api/v1.0/documents/search/ accepts sequential seven-digit document paths to scope descendant searches without requiring the caller to possess the public document UUID. An unauthenticated caller can submit an empty search query and iterate predictable path values to enumerate public document subtrees, obtaining document identifiers, titles, creator data, timestamps, and tree metadata. Each disclosed identifier can then be used through normal public-document endpoints to retrieve the document content, and differing 403 Forbidden and 404 Not Found responses reveal whether a guessed path exists. Authenticated users can similarly discover documents with authenticated link reach, while restricted documents remain protected. This issue is fixed in version 5.4.0.

  • Sep 1, 2026BetterDocs – AI Documentation, Knowledge Base, Docs, Wikis, FAQ with Chatbot: Stored Cross-Site ScriptingCVE-2026-75980 · WordPress plugins & themes · reported by WordfenceMedium 6.4

The BetterDocs – AI Documentation, Knowledge Base, Docs, Wikis, FAQ with Chatbot plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to Stored Cross-Site Scripting via Heading 'id' Attribute in Post Content in all versions up to, and including, 4.8.1 due to insufficient input sanitization and output escaping. This makes it possible for authenticated attackers, with contributor-level access and above, to inject arbitrary web scripts in pages that will execute whenever a user accesses an injected page. The exploit survives wp_kses_post because entity-encoded quotes in a heading id attribute are treated as a single legitimate attribute value at save time; the dangerous payload only materialises after process_content_for_toc() calls html_entity_decode() on the stored content and the broken id is extracted by a lazy regex before being echoed unescaped into the Table of Contents output.

The unstructured library provides open-source components for ingesting and pre-processing images and text documents, such as PDFs, HTML, Word docs, and many more. From 0.4.7 until 0.24.0, the url argument of partition, partition_html, and partition_md is fetched without host validation in unstructured/partition/auto.py, unstructured/partition/html/partition.py, and unstructured/partition/md.py. An attacker who controls that URL can make a server-side ingestion service request loopback addresses, internal HTTP services, or cloud metadata endpoints through direct targets, redirects, or DNS rebinding. The BetterDocs Pro plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to Local File Inclusion in versions up to, and including, 3.8.0 via the `doc_style` parameter. This makes it possible for unauthenticated attackers to include and execute arbitrary .php files on the server, allowing the execution of any PHP code in those files. This can be used to bypass access controls, obtain sensitive data, or achieve code execution in cases where .php file types can be uploaded and included.

  • Jun 19, 2026BetterDocs - Knowledge Base Docs & FAQ Solution for Elementor & Block Editor: Stored Cross-Site ScriptingCVE-2026-12157 · WordPress plugins & themes · reported by WordfenceMedium 6.4

The BetterDocs - Knowledge Base Docs & FAQ Solution for Elementor & Block Editor plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to Stored Cross-Site Scripting via the blockId attribute of the betterdocs/category-slate-layout Gutenberg block in versions up to, and including, 4.5.3. This is due to insufficient input sanitization and output escaping in the CategorySlateLayout::render() method, which echoes the blockId block attribute directly into an HTML class attribute without esc_attr(). This makes it possible for authenticated attackers, with contributor-level access and above, to inject arbitrary web scripts in pages that will execute whenever a user accesses an injected page.

  • May 7, 2026BetterDocs Pro: SQL InjectionCVE-2026-4348 · WordPress plugins & themes · reported by WordfenceHigh 7.5

The BetterDocs Pro plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to SQL Injection via the `get_current_letter_docs` and `docs_sort_by_letter` AJAX actions in all versions up to, and including, 3.7.0. This is due to the `limit` POST parameter being interpolated directly into a SQL query string before being passed to `$wpdb->prepare()`, which only parameterizes other variables. This makes it possible for unauthenticated attackers to append additional SQL queries into already existing queries that can be used to extract sensitive information from the database. The Encyclopedia feature must be enabled in BetterDocs Pro settings for the vulnerability to be exploitable.
