Sep 18, 2026deepmerge through 4.3.1 contains a prototype poisoning vulnerability in the mergeObject() function that fails to properly validate keys being written to target CVE-2026-93753 · Other software · TehShrike · reported by VulnCheckHigh 8.7
deepmerge through 4.3.1 contains a prototype poisoning vulnerability in the mergeObject() function that fails to properly validate keys being written to target objects. Attackers can supply malicious source objects in merge operations to inject attacker-controlled properties into the returned object's prototype, causing applications to inherit unintended values when accessing properties without own-property checks.

exceljs through 4.4.0 contains a prototype pollution vulnerability in the deepMerge helper that fails to reject __proto__, constructor, or prototype keys when merging note objects. Aug 20, 2026deepmerge-ts is a typescript library providing functionality to deep merging of javascript objects.CVE-2026-40345 · Other software · RebeccaStevens · reported by GitHubHigh 8.2
deepmerge-ts is a typescript library providing functionality to deep merging of javascript objects. Prior to 8.0.0, the deepmerge, deepmergeCustom, deepmergeInto, and deepmergeIntoCustom APIs do not track visited objects or object pairs when recursively merging records. When two input values contain self-references at the same property path, the merge logic repeatedly revisits the same pair until Node.js raises RangeError: Maximum call stack size exceeded. Applications that merge attacker-controlled recursive object graphs can synchronously crash the affected process or cause repeated worker restarts. Plain JSON input alone cannot create the recursive graph required to trigger the issue. This issue is fixed in version 8.0.0.

Versions of the package ts-deepmerge before 8.0.0 are vulnerable to Uncaught Exception due to the improper handling of built-in Object.prototype methods (such as toString, valueOf). When user-controlled input contains these keys with non-function values, the resulting merged object becomes broken — any string context operation throws a TypeError, crashing the application.

Where this comes from: the exploited list is CISA’s Known Exploited Vulnerabilities catalog. Everything else is the whole National Vulnerability Database, where each record is published by the team that found the bug (Wordfence, Patchstack, WPScan, the vendors themselves and others); we show who. Exploit odds are FIRST’s EPSS, updated daily. Titles and categories are ours, so check the linked record before acting on a detail. For a write-up of the big ones, see our advisories. Every vendor, and every WordPress plugin and theme with a recorded flaw, also has its own page. All of it is free to reuse as JSON, CSV or RSS.
