  • Oct 28, 2026Advanced Custom Fields: Extended: Unauthorized access of data and triggering of server-side actionsCVE-2026-2839 · WordPress plugins & themes · reported by WordfenceMedium 5.3

The Advanced Custom Fields: Extended plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to unauthorized access of data and triggering of server-side actions in all versions up to, and including, 0.9.2.7. This is due to multiple AJAX handlers registered for unauthenticated users (`wp_ajax_nopriv_*`) that fail to implement proper `current_user_can()` authorization checks. While these handlers use ACF's `acf_verify_ajax()` function to validate cryptographic nonces, the `acf_nonce` values are generated for guest users and publicly exposed in the page source of any frontend page utilizing an ACF form. This makes it possible for unauthenticated attackers to extract the guest nonce and bypass WordPress visibility permissions, leading to the unauthorized disclosure of post titles and internal Flexible Content layout structures. The vulnerability was partially patched in version 0.9.2.4.

  • Oct 27, 2026Advanced Custom Fields: Extended: Authorization bypassCVE-2026-10752 · WordPress plugins & themes · reported by WordfenceMedium 4.8

The Advanced Custom Fields: Extended plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to authorization bypass in all versions up to, and including, 0.9.2.6. This is due to the plugin not properly verifying that a user is authorized to perform an action. This makes it possible for unauthenticated attackers to permanently delete arbitrary WordPress media library attachments by supplying a numeric attachment ID in the form submission without any ownership or capability verification. Exploitation requires a site administrator to have configured a public-facing ACFE form with an Email action whose attachment row uses a dynamic {field:...} source bound to a submittable field with the Delete option enabled.

  • Oct 27, 2026Advanced Views – Display Framework for Gutenberg & Elementor: Stored Cross-Site ScriptingCVE-2026-109995 · WordPress plugins & themes · reported by WordfenceHigh 7.2

The Advanced Views – Display Framework for Gutenberg & Elementor plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to Stored Cross-Site Scripting via the 'comment' parameter in all versions up to, and including, 3.9.6 due to insufficient input sanitization and output escaping. This makes it possible for unauthenticated attackers to inject arbitrary web scripts in pages that will execute whenever a user accesses an injected page. This vulnerability is exploitable even against pending or unapproved comments, as the plugin's get_comment() lookup applies no approval-status filter, meaning a payload executes for any visitor loading an avf-layout block bound to the attacker's comment ID before the comment is ever reviewed.

  • Oct 23, 2026The Advanced Custom Fields: Extended and Advanced Custom Fields: Extended PRO WordPress plugins from 0.9.2.4 to 0.9.2.7 do not consistently disable shortcode prCVE-2026-94263 · WordPress plugins & themes · reported by WPScanMedium 4.8

The Advanced Custom Fields: Extended and Advanced Custom Fields: Extended PRO WordPress plugins from 0.9.2.4 to 0.9.2.7 do not consistently disable shortcode processing in the confirmation message of their front-end forms, allowing unauthenticated visitors to have arbitrary shortcodes executed server-side when they submit a form whose stored configuration does not carry the relevant setting.

The Advanced Custom Fields: Extended WordPress plugin before 0.9.2.8, Advanced Custom Fields: Extended PRO WordPress plugin before 0.9.2.8 does not resolve the target of the update-user action in its front-end Forms module consistently between the stage that authorises the request and the stage that carries it out, which allows unauthenticated visitors to bypass the guard protecting administrator accounts, take over the site administrator's account and be issued a valid session for it. Exploitation requires the site to publish two separate front-end form configurations whose targets are mapped to visitor-submitted values.

The Advanced Custom Fields: Extended WordPress plugin before 0.9.2.8, Advanced Custom Fields: Extended PRO WordPress plugin before 0.9.2.8 does not perform any capability check when updating a post through one of its front-end form actions, allowing unauthenticated visitors to overwrite arbitrary posts, including the ones in which the site stores its own field definitions, which in turn leads to arbitrary code execution on the server. Exploitation requires the site to publish a form whose post-update action maps both its target and its content to visitor-submitted values.

The Advanced Custom Fields: Extended WordPress plugin before 0.9.2.8, Advanced Custom Fields: Extended PRO WordPress plugin before 0.9.2.8 does not validate or escape some of its form shortcode attributes, which can be pointed at values taken from the visitor's own request and are then output without escaping, allowing users with a role as low as contributor to have arbitrary script run in the browser of anyone led to open a crafted link or page, including a logged-in administrator. This is an incomplete fix for CVE-2023-5292, whose deny-list covers only the three HTML wrapper attributes.

  • Oct 10, 2026Advanced Form Integration — Connect Forms to 300+ Apps: Authentication BypassCVE-2026-104797 · WordPress plugins & themes · reported by WordfenceHigh 8.1

The Advanced Form Integration — Connect Forms to 300+ Apps plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to Authentication Bypass via Unverified Password Change in all versions up to, and including, 2.9.0 The `adfoin_ultimatememberac_send_data` function, which powers the Ultimate Member "Update Profile Field" action, resolves the target WordPress user from an attacker-supplied email address and passes an attacker-controlled field key and value directly to `UM()->user()->update_profile()` in the `account` context — which explicitly bypasses Ultimate Member's banned-key validation — without performing any submitter identity verification, ownership check, capability check, current-password reauthentication, or restriction on sensitive keys such as `user_pass`. This makes it possible for unauthenticated attackers to change the password of any WordPress user account, including Administrator accounts, by submitting a public Contact Form 7 form with a target email and `user_pass` as the field key, enabling full site takeover. Exploitation requires an administrator to have pre-configured a Contact Form 7 integration that maps the target email, field key, and value from public form inputs to the Ultim

  • Oct 10, 2026Advanced IP Blocker: Authentication BypassCVE-2026-104732 · WordPress plugins & themes · reported by WordfenceCritical 9.8

The Advanced IP Blocker plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to Authentication Bypass in all versions up to, and including, 8.13.13 The vulnerability exists because `handle_login_action()` performs no server-side check — via transient, session marker, or equivalent — that a requester completed step-1 password authentication before processing a step-2 TOTP submission for the POSTed `user_id`; compounding this, an error branch in the function unconditionally mints a fresh `advaipbl-2fa-interim-{user_id}` nonce and delivers it in a `Location` header to any unauthenticated caller, after which `display_2fa_login_form_step_2()` renders a valid `advaipbl-2fa-verify-{user_id}` nonce in HTML — both nonces computed against a fixed `uid=0` empty-session context and therefore fully reusable by the attacker across subsequent requests. This makes it possible for unauthenticated attackers to bypass authentication entirely for any 2FA-enabled account, including administrators, by brute-forcing an unthrottled 6-digit TOTP code (no attempt counter, no account lockout, and no `wp_login_failed` firing) and receiving a fully authenticated session cookie via `wp_set_auth_cookie` without ever supplying the

The Smart Manager – Advanced WooCommerce Bulk Edit & Inventory Management plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to generic SQL Injection via the 'access_privileges' parameter in all versions up to, and including, 8.97.0 due to insufficient escaping on the user supplied parameter and lack of sufficient preparation on the existing SQL query. This makes it possible for authenticated attackers, with subscriber-level access and above, to append additional SQL queries into already existing queries that can be used to extract sensitive information from the database. This exploit is only possible on installations where an administrator has saved a role-based deny-list Access Privilege configuration that does not explicitly block the internal 'access-privilege' module, as this condition allows the authorization filter to implicitly permit Subscriber-level users to invoke the vulnerable handler.

  • Sep 25, 2026Automation Web Platform – Notifications and OTP for WooCommerce, Advanced Country Code: Privilege EscalationCVE-2026-14281 · WordPress plugins & themes · reported by WordfenceCritical 9.8

The Automation Web Platform – Notifications and OTP for WooCommerce, Advanced Country Code plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to Privilege Escalation in all versions up to, and including, 4.8.6. This is due to missing permission enforcement on the publicly accessible REST route `POST /wp-json/wawp/v1/signup/<op>` and the absence of a key allowlist in the `finish_registration_logic` function, which copies the attacker-controlled `wawp_custom_fields` parameter directly into `update_user_meta()` — allowing sensitive meta keys such as `wp_capabilities` and `wp_user_level` to be set by the caller. This makes it possible for unauthenticated attackers to register a new account with the administrator role and gain full administrative access to the site. When OTP verification is enabled at signup, the OTP session token (`otp_transient`) is returned in plaintext in the HTTP response body, and the `handle_magic_link_request()` handler marks that token as verified on any unauthenticated GET request containing it without ever checking the OTP code value — making the OTP step trivially bypassable with no inbox or SMS access required.

  • Sep 10, 2026Registration Form for WooCommerce: Does not validate that the form referenced during registration is a legitimate registration formCVE-2026-81431 · WordPress plugins & themes · reported by WPScanHigh 7.2

The Registration Form for WooCommerce WordPress plugin before 1.1.3 does not validate that the form referenced during registration is a legitimate registration form, reading the permitted-role allow-list from an arbitrary attacker-controlled post instead. A user able to create a post (Contributor and above) can therefore register a new account with an arbitrary role, including Administrator, leading to full site takeover. • Sep 2, 2026Advanced Custom Fields: Extended: Does not verify that the requester is authorized to edit the targeted user account in the update-user action of its front-end Forms module; it only checks a capabilityCVE-2026-12526 · WordPress plugins & themes · reported by WPScanHigh 8.1

The Advanced Custom Fields: Extended WordPress plugin before 0.9.2.7 does not verify that the requester is authorized to edit the targeted user account in the update-user action of its front-end Forms module; it only checks a capability when the submitted role is administrator or super_admin. On a site that exposes a publicly reachable front-end form whose user-update action targets an existing administrator (a fixed target, or one mapped to a visitor-submitted field) and maps the password to a visitor-submitted field, an unauthenticated visitor can overwrite that administrator's password and take over the account. The default target is the submitting user, so exploitation depends on the form being configured to target another account.

The Advanced Product Fields (Product Addons) for WooCommerce plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to Improper Input Validation in all versions up to, and including, 1.6.21. This is due to a logic flaw in the 'validate_cart_data' function. The Automation Web Platform – Notifications and OTP for WooCommerce, Advanced Country Code plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to Authentication Bypass in versions up to, and including, 4.8.6. The Advanced File Manager – Ultimate File Manager for WordPress And Document Library Solution plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to Stored Cross-Site Scripting via the 'soundFile' parameter in all versions up to, and including, 5.4.12 due to insufficient input sanitization and output escaping. This makes it possible for unauthenticated attackers to inject arbitrary web scripts in pages that will execute whenever a user accesses an injected page. Exploitation requires the attacker to control a domain whose origin string is a leading prefix of the target site's backend URL (e.g. https://example.co against https://example.com), and the victim must be an authenticated WordPress administrator who visits the attacker-controlled page while the File Manager admin screen is open.
