  • Sep 27, 2026Fleet-maintained app install and uninstall scripts for macOS are generated from Homebrew cask metadata.CVE-2026-101045 · Other software · fleetdm · reported by VulnCheckHigh 8.9

Fleet-maintained app install and uninstall scripts for macOS are generated from Homebrew cask metadata. In manifests generated before 2026-08-19, the script generator escaped this metadata at some interpolation sites but not all of them, so cask metadata containing shell metacharacters (for example $(...) command substitution) could be carried into scripts that execute as root on managed macOS hosts. An attacker who could land crafted metadata in an upstream Homebrew cask — without needing any Fleet credentials — could achieve arbitrary command execution as root on managed macOS hosts that install or uninstall the affected Fleet-maintained app; exploitation required the crafted metadata to pass both upstream Homebrew cask review and Fleet's review of the automated ingestion pull request. The fix (fleetdm/fleet#51324) landed in Fleet's ingestion pipeline on 2026-08-19 so that all manifests generated on or after that date escape cask metadata at every interpolation site; because manifests are generated centrally and distributed as pre-built content, remediation applied to all deployments with no customer action, and the code fix is included in Fleet v4.92.0.

  • Sep 21, 2026Chartbrew is an open-source web application that can connect directly to databases and APIs and use the data to create charts.CVE-2026-65980 · Other software · chartbrew · reported by GitHubHigh 7.9

Chartbrew is an open-source web application that can connect directly to databases and APIs and use the data to create charts. Prior to 5.2.3, Chartbrew's ClickHouse protocol in server/sources/plugins/clickhouse/clickhouse.protocol.js calls applySqlVariables() from server/sources/shared/sql/sql.variables.js without enabling the escapeBackslash option. For a ClickHouse-backed chart with variable binding, an attacker can supply a backslash before a quote so quote doubling does not keep the value within its intended SQL string literal. Public dashboards can expose this path without authentication, and successful exploitation can execute arbitrary ClickHouse SQL to disclose data or, when the database configuration permits, access files or internal network resources. This issue is fixed in version 5.2.3.

  • Sep 21, 2026Chartbrew is an open-source web application that can connect directly to databases and APIs and use the data to create charts.CVE-2026-61852 · Other software · chartbrew · reported by GitHubMedium 5.8

Chartbrew is an open-source web application that can connect directly to databases and APIs and use the data to create charts. Prior to 5.2.2, Chartbrew's runQuery() implementation in server/modules/ai/orchestrator/tools/runQuery.js interpolates the AI tool's row_limit parameter into a SQL LIMIT clause without runtime integer validation. The read-only keyword check runs before this value is appended, so an authenticated user who can influence a model-generated non-integer row_limit can add SQL that bypasses the earlier check. Successful exploitation can execute arbitrary statements against the connected database, including reading or changing data and, where database permissions permit, accessing files or executing operating-system commands. This issue is fixed in version 5.2.2.

  • Sep 21, 2026Chartbrew is an open-source web application that can connect directly to databases and APIs and use the data to create charts.CVE-2026-61851 · Other software · chartbrew · reported by GitHubMedium 6.5

Chartbrew is an open-source web application that can connect directly to databases and APIs and use the data to create charts. Prior to 5.2.2, Chartbrew's runQuery() implementation in server/modules/ai/orchestrator/tools/runQuery.js attempts to enforce read-only database access with a blocklist containing only seven SQL keywords. An authenticated user with AI feature access can submit dangerous statements or database functions that are absent from the read-only keyword blocklist, causing them to execute without SQL injection or keyword-obfuscation techniques. Depending on the database engine, configuration, and database-user privileges, this can expose or write files, access internal network resources, change database privileges, execute commands, or alter data. This issue is fixed in version 5.2.2.

  • Sep 21, 2026Chartbrew is an open-source web application that can connect directly to databases and APIs and use the data to create charts.CVE-2026-61743 · Other software · chartbrew · reported by GitHubMedium 6.3

Chartbrew is an open-source web application that can connect directly to databases and APIs and use the data to create charts. Prior to 5.2.2, Chartbrew's server/modules/safeRequest.js calls validateOutboundUrl() to resolve and validate a target hostname, but request-promise performs a separate DNS resolution for the actual connection. An authenticated user who can create or test API connections and controls the target DNS name can return a public address during validation and a private address during the request, bypassing the protections implemented by server/modules/outboundTargetPolicy.js. This DNS rebinding condition can expose internal services, localhost resources, or cloud metadata endpoints. This issue is fixed in version 5.2.2.

  • Aug 14, 2026ZeroBrew version 0.3.1 and prior contains a missing integrity verification vulnerability in the Ruby compatibility shim that allows network attackers to executeCVE-2026-53970 · Other software · lucasgelfond · reported by VulnCheckHigh 7.5

ZeroBrew version 0.3.1 and prior contains a missing integrity verification vulnerability in the Ruby compatibility shim that allows network attackers to execute arbitrary code by substituting malicious content at formula resource or URL-based patch URLs without checksum validation. Attackers can intercept or replace downloads for secondary resource and patch paths in shim.rb, injecting attacker-controlled build steps or source tree modifications that execute during source builds via 'zb install --build-from-source' without any integrity warning.

  • Jun 4, 2026Chartbrew is an open-source web application that can connect directly to databases and APIs and use the data to create charts.CVE-2026-41518 · Other software · chartbrew · reported by GitHubHigh 7.6

Chartbrew is an open-source web application that can connect directly to databases and APIs and use the data to create charts. In versions 4.9.0 through 5.0.0, an authenticated user with project-editor permissions can store arbitrary HTML/JavaScript in the `ChartDatasetConfig.legend` field. The payload is persisted verbatim in the database, propagated through the Chart.js rendering pipeline, and injected into the tooltip DOM element via an unguarded `innerHTML` assignment in `ChartTooltip.js`. Every unauthenticated viewer of the public dashboard triggers JavaScript execution on page load — no hover interaction is required. Browser-based Playwright verification confirmed `alert('localhost')` fires immediately and `<img src="x" onerror="alert(document.domain)">` is present in the `#chartjs-tooltip` DOM element. Version 5.0.1 contains a fix.

  • Apr 30, 2026Chartbrew is an open-source web application that can connect directly to databases and APIs and use the data to create charts.CVE-2026-40904 · Other software · chartbrew · reported by GitHubHigh 8.1

Chartbrew is an open-source web application that can connect directly to databases and APIs and use the data to create charts. In version 4.9.0, Chartbrew exposes multiple dataset and dataRequest endpoints that authorize low-privileged project members at the team level instead of binding the requested dataset_id, dataRequest id, and connection_id to the caller's allowed projects. An authenticated attacker who only has access to one project inside a team can read, execute, create, update, and delete datasets and data requests that belong to other projects in the same team. The issue is exploitable remotely with ordinary project-level credentials and leads to cross-project data disclosure and unauthorized use of victim-side database or API connections. This issue has been patched in version 5.0.0.

Chartbrew is an open-source web application that can connect directly to databases and APIs and use the data to create charts. In version 4.9.0, Chartbrew exposes a legacy dashboard route that returns a project's report data to any authenticated member of the same team, even when that user does not have access to the specific project. The route bypasses project-level authorization and returns the raw project object. As a result, a low-privileged same-team user can read another project's dashboard data and recover the project's stored report password from the response. This issue has been patched in version 5.0.0.

Chartbrew is an open-source web application that can connect directly to databases and APIs and use the data to create charts. In version 4.9.0, Chartbrew exposes POST /api/chart/:chart_id/query without authentication. The endpoint only checks team.allowReportRefresh and does not verify that the target chart belongs to a public report, that the project is public, or that sharing policy allows the operation. An unauthenticated attacker who knows a chart identifier can trigger a data refresh and retrieve the current data of private charts. This issue has been patched in version 5.0.0.

Chartbrew is an open-source web application that can connect directly to databases and APIs and use the data to create charts. In version 4.9.0, Chartbrew allows authenticated users with access to one project to update or delete a SharePolicy record that belongs to a different project. The affected routes authorize the caller against the project in the URL path, but they never verify that policy_id belongs to that project. This permits cross-project modification of dashboard sharing rules, including visibility, password requirements, allowed parameters, and expiration settings. Chartbrew is an open-source web application that can connect directly to databases and APIs and use the data to create charts. In version 4.9.0, Chartbrew exposes public chart retrieval and export routes that only verify project-level public access and, for exports, a team-level export toggle. The routes do not verify whether the target chart is actually allowed on the public report or whether the governing SharePolicy permits public access. An unauthenticated attacker who knows a chart identifier in a public project can read or export chart data for charts that were intentionally hidden from the report. This issue has been patched in version 5.0.0.

Chartbrew is an open-source web application that can connect directly to databases and APIs and use the data to create charts. In version 4.9.0, the endpoint POST /user/invited does not validate any invite token, authentication header, or session. Any unauthenticated attacker can call this endpoint directly to create a fully active account and receive a valid JWT — even when the instance has existing users and signupRestricted is enabled. This bypass is distinct from the normal registration endpoint (POST /user) which enforces signupRestricted and sets active: false pending verification. This issue has been patched in version 5.0.0.

Chartbrew is an open-source web application that can connect directly to databases and APIs and use the data to create charts. Prior to 4.9.0, a cross-tenant authorization bypass exists in Chartbrew in GET /team/:team_id/template/generate/:project_id. The GET handler calls checkAccess(req, "updateAny", "chart") without awaiting the returned promise, and it does not verify that the supplied project_id belongs to req.params.team_id or to the caller's team. As a result, an authenticated attacker with valid template-generation permissions in their own team can request the template model for a project belonging to another team and receive victim project data. This vulnerability is fixed in 4.9.0.

Chartbrew is an open-source web application that can connect directly to databases and APIs and use the data to create charts. Prior to 4.8.5, Chartbrew allows authenticated users to create API data connections with arbitrary URLs. • Mar 6, 2026Chartbrew is an open-source web application that can connect directly to databases and APIs and use the data to create charts.CVE-2026-27605 · Other software · chartbrew · reported by GitHubMedium 6.3

Chartbrew is an open-source web application that can connect directly to databases and APIs and use the data to create charts. Prior to version 4.8.4, the application allows uploading files (project logos) without validating the file type or content. It trusts the extension provided by the user. These files are saved to the uploads/ directory and served statically. An attacker can upload an HTML file containing malicious JavaScript. Since authentication tokens are likely stored in localStorage (as they are returned in the API body), this XSS can lead to account takeover. This issue has been patched in version 4.8.4.

  • May 3, 2021An issue was discovered on Libre Wireless LS9 LS1.5/p7040 devices.CVE-2020-35758 · Other software · Librewireless · reported by MITRECritical 9.8

An issue was discovered on Libre Wireless LS9 LS1.5/p7040 devices. There is a Authentication Bypass in the Web Interface. This interface does not properly restrict access to internal functionality. Despite presenting a password login page on first access, authentication is not required to access privileged functionality. As such, it's possible to directly access APIs that should not be exposed to an unauthenticated user.

An issue was discovered on Libre Wireless LS9 LS1.5/p7040 devices. There is Unauthenticated Root ADB Access Over TCP. The LS9 web interface provides functionality to access ADB over TCP. This is not enabled by default, but can be enabled by sending a crafted request to a web management interface endpoint. Requests made to this endpoint do not require authentication. As such, any unauthenticated user who is able to access the web interface will be able to gain root privileges on the LS9 module.

  • Apr 30, 2021cumulative-distribution-function is an open source npm library used which calculates statistical cumulative distribution function from data array of x values.CVE-2021-29486 · Other software · DrPaulBrewer · reported by GitHubHigh 7.5

cumulative-distribution-function is an open source npm library used which calculates statistical cumulative distribution function from data array of x values. In versions prior to 2.0.0 apps using this library on improper data may crash or go into an infinite-loop. In the case of a nodejs server-app using this library to act on invalid non-numeric data, the nodejs server may crash. This may affect other users of this server and/or require the server to be rebooted for proper operation. In the case of a browser app using this library to act on invalid non-numeric data, that browser may crash or lock up. A flaw enabling an infinite-loop was discovered in the code for evaluating the cumulative-distribution-function of input data. Although the documentation explains that numeric data is required, some users may confuse an array of strings like ["1","2","3","4","5"] for numeric data [1,2,3,4,5] when it is in fact string data. An infinite loop is possible when the cumulative-distribution-function is evaluated for a given point when the input data is string data rather than type `number`. This vulnerability enables an infinite-cpu-loop denial-of-service-attack on any app using npm:cumulat

Characters from languages are such as Arabic, Hebrew are displayed from RTL (Right To Left) order in Opera 37.0.2192.105088 for Android, due to mishandling of several unicode characters such as U+FE70, U+0622, U+0623 etc and how they are rendered combined with (first strong character) such as an IP address or alphabet could lead to a spoofed URL. It was noticed that by placing neutral characters such as "/", "?" in filepath causes the URL to be flipped and displayed from Right To Left. However, in order for the URL to be spoofed the URL must begin with an IP address followed by neutral characters as omnibox considers IP address to be combination of punctuation and numbers and since LTR (Left To Right) direction is not properly enforced, this causes the entire URL to be treated and rendered from RTL (Right To Left). However, it doesn't have be an IP address, what matters is that first strong character (generally, alphabetic character) in the URL must be an RTL character.
