Oct 27, 2026The asynchronous Smile parser (NonBlockingByteArrayParser) uses a raw-binary length prefix taken from untrusted input to allocate a byte[] before the body is reCVE-2026-104895 · Other software · FasterXML · reported by 36c7be3b-2937-45df-85ea-ca7133ea542cHigh 7.5
The asynchronous Smile parser (NonBlockingByteArrayParser) uses a raw-binary length prefix taken from untrusted input to allocate a byte[] before the body is read, with no upper bound and no overflow check. On the raw-binary marker 0xFD, _decodeVInt() computes (value << 6) + (i & 0x3F) without the (value >>> 25) != 0 overflow guard present in the blocking SmileParser._readUnsignedVInt, and _startRawBinary then allocates the declared length immediately. A Smile feed of roughly ten bytes can therefore force an eager allocation of approximately 2 GB, producing an OutOfMemoryError on reactive or asynchronous Smile endpoints. A VInt crafted to overflow int yields a negative length and a NegativeArraySizeException, a RuntimeException that is not a JacksonException and so escapes the parser contract. Either outcome crashes the request or processing thread. This is the same class of issue as CVE-2020-28491 in the CBOR parser of this library, which was fixed with a LONGEST_NON_CHUNKED_BINARY guard; the asynchronous Smile parser never received the equivalent guard. No privileges or user interaction beyond the ability to submit data for parsing are required.

Oct 22, 2026A numeric-type conversion flaw in the BSON handling library of the MongoDB C# Driver allows an out-of-range binary subtype value supplied through untrusted textCVE-2026-114654 · Other software · MongoDB · reported by cna@mongodb.comMedium 6.9
A numeric-type conversion flaw in the BSON handling library of the MongoDB C# Driver allows an out-of-range binary subtype value supplied through untrusted textual input to bypass the library's binary-element integrity checks. When such a value is later encoded, it is narrowed to a smaller wire representation, producing binary elements that misdeclare their type or length. An unauthenticated party able to supply text parsed by an affected application can cause it to emit and persist malformed binary data, which subsequent readers either reject with an error or silently interpret as shorter than the data that was validated.

Oct 22, 2026A data-validation flaw exists in the BSON handling and binary serialization path of the MongoDB C# Driver.CVE-2026-114646 · Other software · MongoDB · reported by cna@mongodb.comMedium 6.9
A data-validation flaw exists in the BSON handling and binary serialization path of the MongoDB C# Driver. When an application constructs a raw or lazy BSON document object from externally supplied binary data, the driver does not verify that the size quantity declared inside that data matches the amount of data actually provided, and it copies the data onto the wire unchanged. An unauthenticated party who can supply binary content to such an application can thereby cause additional elements to be inserted into, or existing elements to be removed from, the database command the application issues, without needing any database credentials of their own. This can result in unauthorized modification of stored data and disclosure of data outside the intended scope of the application's request, bounded by the database privileges the application itself holds.

Oct 21, 2026toml-node is a TOML parser for Node.js and the browser.CVE-2026-114144 · Other software · BinaryMuse · reported by GitHubHigh 7.5
toml-node is a TOML parser for Node.js and the browser. Prior to 5.0.1, toml.parse() passes unbounded hexadecimal, octal, binary, and decimal digit sequences from lib/parser.js to BigInt() before reduceInteger() in lib/compiler.js checks whether the resulting value fits the TOML 64-bit integer range. Converting a sufficiently long integer string consumes super-linear CPU time and synchronously blocks the Node.js event loop, allowing one attacker-supplied TOML document to deny service to concurrent work in the process. The later range check cannot prevent the conversion cost because it executes after BigInt(). This issue is fixed in version 5.0.1.

Oct 21, 2026toml-node is a TOML parser for Node.js and the browser.CVE-2026-114143 · Other software · BinaryMuse · reported by GitHubHigh 8.7
toml-node is a TOML parser for Node.js and the browser. Prior to 5.0.1, toml.parse() repeatedly slices and rejoins every path prefix in lib/compiler.js while processing long dotted keys, table headers, array-of-tables headers, and inline-table keys in assign(), deepRef(), and setNestedKey(). The resulting quadratic work can block the Node.js event loop for several seconds, and sufficiently long paths can terminate the process through memory exhaustion. The maxDepth option does not limit key-segment count and therefore does not mitigate this path. This issue is fixed in version 5.0.1.

Oct 21, 2026toml-node is a TOML parser for Node.js and the browser.CVE-2026-114142 · Other software · BinaryMuse · reported by GitHubHigh 8.8
toml-node is a TOML parser for Node.js and the browser. Prior to 5.0.1, toml.parse() can write attacker-controlled properties to Object.prototype because quoteDottedString() in lib/compiler.js produces the same bookkeeping string for distinct quoted key paths, allowing addTableArray() to clear another key's guard. The assign() path then descends through an unowned Date value without applying the owned-container check and can reach the prototype chain. Objects created elsewhere in the process can inherit the injected property. This issue is fixed in version 5.0.1.

toml-node is a TOML parser for Node.js and the browser. Prior to 5.0.1, the toml.parse() compiler's addTableArray() function in lib/compiler.js rescans the complete assignedPaths and valueAssignments bookkeeping sets for every array-of-tables header. Distinct [[name]] paths are not pruned, so a document with many such headers causes quadratic synchronous work and can block the Node.js event loop, denying service to other operations in the process. This issue is fixed in version 5.0.1.

The Pulsar broker serves two schema commands on its binary protocol: GetSchema, which returns the schema registered for a topic, and GetOrCreateSchema, which registers a new schema version for an existing topic. The broker handled both commands after checking only that the client connection was authenticated. Unlike the broker's other topic commands, such as those for creating producers and consumers or for looking up topics, these two commands did not check whether the authenticated client was authorized for the target topic. The Pulsar REST API endpoints for schemas were not affected. An authenticated client without any permission on the target topic, namespace or tenant could use these commands to: - read the schema registered for a topic in another namespace or tenant, disclosing the schema definition such as record field names and types. Message payloads are not disclosed. - register a new schema version on an existing topic in another namespace or tenant. The topic's schema compatibility and schema auto-update policies still apply. Oct 20, 2026`_gx_binres_pixelmap_table_load()` in the GUIX binary resource (theme) loader indexes the pixelmap table with a value read verbatim from the resource file and nCVE-2026-92449 · Other software · Eclipse Foundation · reported by emo@eclipse.orgMedium 6.8
`_gx_binres_pixelmap_table_load()` in the GUIX binary resource (theme) loader indexes the pixelmap table with a value read verbatim from the resource file and never bounds it against the table size. A crafted theme drives a write of up to roughly 256 KB past the end of the table. The overflowed buffer is allocated by GUIX itself, through `_gx_system_memory_allocator`, rather than supplied by the caller, so the loader corrupts its own arena. The public API `gx_binres_theme_load()` takes no size parameter, so no amount of caller diligence prevents this. Reproduces in the shipped default configuration; `GX_BINARY_RESOURCE_SUPPORT` is enabled by default.

Oct 20, 2026The GUIX binary resource loader never checks that a font page's glyph range is well formed.CVE-2026-91189 · Other software · Eclipse Foundation · reported by emo@eclipse.orgHigh 7.1
The GUIX binary resource loader never checks that a font page's glyph range is well formed. `gx_page_header_first_glyph` and `gx_page_header_last_glyph` are read verbatim from the file and only the upper bound of `last_glyph` is validated, so a page declaring `first_glyph > last_glyph` makes `last - first + 1` underflow to a very large unsigned count. That count is multiplied by a glyph record size to reserve the load buffer, and the multiply is unchecked, so it wraps to a small value and the loader allocates a buffer far smaller than the data it is about to write. The load pass then recomputes the count in a narrower type and writes attacker-controlled glyph records into the undersized buffer.

在 openGauss-server的 src/common/backend/utils/adt/genfile.cpp 模块中,内置函数 pg_read_binary_file_blocks() 存在权限校验逻辑缺陷。

Oct 15, 2026bincookie is a header-only binarycookies parser.CVE-2026-55246 · Other software · Tatsh · reported by GitHubHigh 7.8
bincookie is a header-only binarycookies parser. Prior to 0.1.9, bincookie_init_file() in bincookie.h allocates a buffer using the actual .binarycookies file length but trusts the file-controlled num_pages field as the loop bound for byte-swapping page_sizes entries. A crafted file can make the loop read and write beyond the heap allocation, and related unvalidated page sizes and cookie_offsets can drive additional out-of-bounds accesses in page and cookie iteration. Godot Engine through 4.7.2 has a heap out-of-bounds write in the binary resource loader (core/io/resource_format_binary.cpp, ResourceLoaderBinary::get_unicode_string). A string length is read from the resource file into a signed 32-bit integer and compared against the destination buffer size with a signed comparison, which conditionally resizes the buffer. A negative length value skips the resize; the same value is then passed to the copy routine as an unsigned byte count, where it sign-extends to a huge value, copying file-controlled data far past the undersized heap allocation. The defect is reached when the product or an exported game loads a crafted binary resource file (.res). NOTE: the Supplier's position is that the research has identified "no security issues" because the required attacker access is outside of the current Godot Engine threat model.

The Smile parser in FasterXML jackson-dataformats-binary never invokes StreamReadConstraints.validateNameLength() when decoding JSON object property names, so the maxNameLength limit is not enforced for this format. SmileParser._handleLongFieldName() grows its internal name buffer through an unconstrained _growArrayTo() call and performs no length validation. An attacker who can have a Smile document parsed may therefore embed a single property name of unbounded length; the parser buffers the whole name in memory before returning it, whatever maxNameLength is configured to. Because StreamReadConstraints.maxDocumentLength is also disabled by default, nothing else bounds the name under default settings, so the only limits are the attacker's upload capacity and available heap, leading to memory exhaustion and denial of service. No privileges beyond the ability to submit data to a parsing endpoint are required, and exploitation needs only that the bytes reach SmileFactory parsing, directly or through an ObjectMapper configured with the Smile module. jackson-core's own JSON parsers enforce maxNameLength incrementally during name decoding; this gap is specific to the binary formats. maxN

Sep 29, 2026A missing bounds check in the binary decoder in lib0, versions 0.2.1-0.2.117 and earlier and 1.0.0-rc.32 and earlier, lets any unauthenticated remote peer read CVE-2026-102360 · Other software · dmonad · reported by GitHubHigh 8.6
A missing bounds check in the binary decoder in lib0, versions 0.2.1-0.2.117 and earlier and 1.0.0-rc.32 and earlier, lets any unauthenticated remote peer read adjacent process memory and receive it back. `readUint8Array` never compares the wire-supplied length against the decoder's own view, so one over-long length prefix returns whatever the host process allocated next: other tenants' document content, personal data, and live bearer session tokens**, recovered in full and at will. An attacker who can supply bytes to a lib0 decoder which means any peer that can open a socket, including before authentication reads adjacent process memory and, where the consumer echoes, stores or re-serves the decoded value, receives it back. This is patched in version 0.2.118 and 1.0.0-rc.33.

Sep 28, 2026In Google fuse-archive versions prior to 1.24, an attacker who can prepend a directory to PATH or write a malicious binary to an attacker-controlled or writableCVE-2026-87723 · Computers, phones & browsers · Google · reported by cve-coordination@google.comMedium 5.4
In Google fuse-archive versions prior to 1.24, an attacker who can prepend a directory to PATH or write a malicious binary to an attacker-controlled or writable directory appearing in PATH can hijack the execution pathway. This allows the attacker to execute arbitrary local code under the security context of the user running the fuse-archive process. The issue was partially mitigated in version 1.22 and fully resolved in 1.24 via refined selective PATH filtering.

Sep 23, 2026The Tauri updater plugin verifies update binaries using minisign signatures, but the signature covers only the raw binary bytes.CVE-2026-95625 · Other software · Tauri · reported by reefs@jfrog.comMedium 5.9
The Tauri updater plugin verifies update binaries using minisign signatures, but the signature covers only the raw binary bytes. The update manifest -- which contains the version number, download URL, and signature -- is fetched over TLS but is never itself signed or authenticated. Because the only anti-rollback check compares the manifest's version field against the current version, and that field is unsigned, an attacker who can serve a crafted manifest can force installation of any older signed release without possessing the developer's private key.

Sep 21, 2026Conda is a system-level binary package and environment manager that runs on major operating systems and platforms.CVE-2026-53940 · Other software · conda · reported by GitHubHigh 8.8
Conda is a system-level binary package and environment manager that runs on major operating systems and platforms. Prior to 26.5.2, parse_entry_point_def in conda/common/path/python.py accepted an unvalidated entry-point command from a noarch:python package's info/link.json metadata. CreatePythonEntryPointAction in conda/core/path_actions.py interpolated that command into target_short_path, and PrefixPathAction.target_full_path joined it to the installation prefix without verifying that the result remained under the intended bin or Scripts directory. create_python_entry_point in conda/gateways/disk/create.py then wrote an executable wrapper to the resulting path. A malicious package could use path separators, traversal segments, or an absolute command path to write outside the prefix or overwrite another in-prefix entry point during default install and environment transactions. Out-of-prefix writes require the target parent directory to exist, while an overwritten entry point can execute attacker-controlled Python when later invoked with the installing user's privileges. This issue is fixed in version 26.5.2.

Sep 14, 2026MikroTik RouterOS before 7.23.4 (long-term) and 7.24.2 (stable) contains a stack-based buffer overflow vulnerability in the mtget binary's TFTP RRQ builder funcCVE-2026-89020 · Network & remote access · MikroTik · reported by VulnCheckMedium 5.3
MikroTik RouterOS before 7.23.4 (long-term) and 7.24.2 (stable) contains a stack-based buffer overflow vulnerability in the mtget binary's TFTP RRQ builder function that allows authenticated users to crash the mtget worker process by supplying a URL path of 507 bytes or more to the /tool fetch command; the first write outside the 528-byte buffer occurs at 505 bytes. Attackers can trigger the overflow by issuing a fetch command with a crafted tftp:// URL path, which causes an unbounded rep movsb instruction to overwrite saved registers at a deterministic offset, crashing the process without requiring a reachable TFTP server or elevated privileges beyond read-only group membership.

Sep 14, 2026Description The setuid-root `worker-launcher` binary adjusts ownership and permissions of worker directories by walking the tree with FTS and calling `lchown` CVE-2026-82429 · Websites & servers · Apache Software Foundation · reported by security@apache.orgHigh 7.8
Description The setuid-root `worker-launcher` binary adjusts ownership and permissions of worker directories by walking the tree with FTS and calling `lchown` and `chmod` on each entry's full pathname while running with an effective uid of 0. Both syscalls re-resolve the path at the time of the call, after FTS has classified the entry, and the trees being walked are owned and writable by the untrusted topology user. A tenant running code on a supervisor node could therefore replace an intermediate directory component with a symbolic link between classification and the privileged operation, redirecting the root-owned `lchown` or `chmod` at an arbitrary file on the host. The operation is repeatable at will, since crashing a worker forces a relaunch and blob updates re-run the walk, so a failed attempt costs the attacker nothing. This crosses the boundary that `supervisor.run.worker.as.user` and container isolation are intended to enforce. It is the same defect class as the Hadoop container-executor issues from which this code derives. Mitigation Upgrade to 3.1.0, where the privileged walk operates on file descriptors it has already stat'd rather than on pathnames re-resolved at

Snipe-IT before 8.7.0 streams the SQL entry from an uploaded backup archive directly into the MySQL/MariaDB command-line client (`mysql`) without the --binary-mode flag, so the client interprets lines beginning with backslash commands such as `\!` as local shell commands. An authenticated superadministrator who uploads a crafted ZIP backup (POST /admin/backups/upload) and triggers a restore (POST /admin/backups/restore/{filename}) without the optional `clean` sanitizer parameter — which is not applied by default because DB_SANITIZE_BY_DEFAULT is false — can execute arbitrary OS commands as the web application's operating-system user, exposing application secrets (including database credentials and APP_KEY) and allowing modification of application-writable files and data. Version 8.7.0 adds the --binary-mode flag to the client invocation.

Sep 3, 2026toml-node is a TOML parser for Node.js and the browser.CVE-2026-77465 · Other software · BinaryMuse · reported by GitHubHigh 7.5
toml-node is a TOML parser for Node.js and the browser. Prior to 4.2.0, toml.parse() uses a Peggy 5.1.0 generated recursive-descent parser in lib/parser.js whose peg$parsevalue, peg$parsearray, and peg$parseinline_table_entry functions recurse through nested arrays and inline tables without a depth limit. A remote unauthenticated application parsing an attacker-controlled TOML document containing a few thousand nested arrays or inline tables can exhaust the Node.js call stack, raise an unexpected RangeError rather than the parser's SyntaxError, and terminate an unprotected request worker or process. The corresponding grammar source is src/toml.pegjs, where the generated parser must be bounded. This issue is fixed in version 4.2.0.

Sep 3, 2026toml-node is a TOML parser for Node.js and the browser.CVE-2026-63376 · Other software · BinaryMuse · reported by GitHubHigh 8.2
toml-node is a TOML parser for Node.js and the browser. Prior to 4.1.2, toml.parse() in lib/compiler.js can be tricked by a table path such as a.b.y.__proto__.__proto__, allowing traversal from a scalar value into Number.prototype and Object.prototype. The currentPath tracking value uses both arrays and strings, so valueAssignments records a comma-joined path such as a,b.y while deepRef checks the dot-joined path a.b.y, allowing the duplicate-key guard to miss and attacker-controlled keys to be written to Object.prototype. A table-array prefix-clearing path in addTableArray can also erase guard state before the same __proto__ traversal. Injected properties become visible throughout the Node.js process and can cause denial of service, logic or authorization bypass, or code execution when an application contains a suitable gadget. This issue is fixed in version 4.1.2.

During execve(2) of a SUID binary, the new virtual address space is installed before the process credentials are updated. During this window, a process running as the same user can access the target process's memory via procfs or linprocfs, because the kernel's debugging permission check still saw the original credentials.
