  • Aug 24, 2026An authenticated attacker with Editor access or alert.instances.external:write can submit an external Alertmanager alert containing a controlled generatorURL.CVE-2026-17033 · Other software · Grafana · reported by security@grafana.comMedium 6.8

An authenticated attacker with Editor access or alert.instances.external:write can submit an external Alertmanager alert containing a controlled generatorURL. The attacker is authorized to create the alert, but not to execute script in another user's Grafana session. Grafana renders alert.generatorURL directly as the Alert Details See source LinkButton href without URL-scheme sanitization or a safe-protocol allowlist. The click interceptor's :// heuristic can be bypassed by placing :// inside a JavaScript comment. When a user with read access clicks See source, the browser executes attacker-controlled JavaScript in the Grafana origin with the clicking user's permissions.

  • Aug 13, 2026basecamp/upright at commit efe4f2e5254ac6e57e45d2261804cca74dbbca3f disables Rails CSRF protection for its Alertmanager and Prometheus proxy controllers.CVE-2026-67990 · Other software · reported by MITREMedium 5.4

basecamp/upright at commit efe4f2e5254ac6e57e45d2261804cca74dbbca3f disables Rails CSRF protection for its Alertmanager and Prometheus proxy controllers. An unauthenticated attacker can induce a logged-in user's browser to submit requests that are forwarded to enabled upstream write or management endpoints, such as creating an Alertmanager silence or requesting a Prometheus reload. The final impact depends on the APIs enabled by the upstream services.

  • Jul 22, 2026The alertmanager templates test endpoint (/api/alertmanager/grafana/config/api/v1/templates/test) can execute templates with no memory limits.CVE-2026-21723 · Other software · Grafana · reported by security@grafana.comMedium 5.3

The alertmanager templates test endpoint (/api/alertmanager/grafana/config/api/v1/templates/test) can execute templates with no memory limits. Mass-executing templates in a short period causes OOM and crashes the Grafana service. The endpoint requires very low privileges and is exploitable with anonymous access enabled.

Where this comes from: the exploited list is CISA’s Known Exploited Vulnerabilities catalog. Everything else is the whole National Vulnerability Database, where each record is published by the team that found the bug (Wordfence, Patchstack, WPScan, the vendors themselves and others); we show who. Exploit odds are FIRST’s EPSS, updated daily. Titles and categories are ours, so check the linked record before acting on a detail. For a write-up of the big ones, see our advisories. Every vendor, and every WordPress plugin and theme with a recorded flaw, also has its own page. All of it is free to reuse as JSON, CSV or RSS.
