  • Oct 7, 2026LMCache multiprocess mode, also called distributed mode, opens an unauthenticated ZeroMQ ROUTER so worker processes can register and share KV cache blocks.CVE-2026-105192 · Other software · LMCache · reported by reefs@jfrog.comCritical 9.8

LMCache multiprocess mode, also called distributed mode, opens an unauthenticated ZeroMQ ROUTER so worker processes can register and share KV cache blocks. Messages on that socket are msgpack. Extension code 1 is passed to DeviceIPCWrapper.Deserialize, which calls pickle.loads, while the server is still decoding request arguments and before the handler runs. A single unauthenticated ZMQ DEALER message to the transport port (default 5555) therefore executes code as the user the LMCache process runs as. Official container images run that process as root. The transport binds to localhost unless the operator sets a routable address with --host, which is how multi-node deployments let peers connect. The decode path shipped in v0.3.9 and is present through v0.5.5, including the v0.5.6 release candidates. v0.5.6, published on 2026-10-14, removes pickle.loads from this path.

  • Oct 6, 2026MISP exposes critical infrastructure settings—specifically the Redis host addresses used by the core application, the ZeroMQ plugin, and the SimpleBackgroundJobCVE-2026-106513 · Other software · MISP · reported by 5a6e4751-2f3f-4070-9419-94fb35b644e8Medium 6.9

MISP exposes critical infrastructure settings—specifically the Redis host addresses used by the core application, the ZeroMQ plugin, and the SimpleBackgroundJobs plugin—through its web UI and API to site-admin users. The background job workers trust raw Redis job payloads without additional validation. An attacker who obtains a hijacked site-admin session (for example, through a stored cross-site scripting vulnerability) can modify the Redis host settings to point at an attacker-controlled Redis server and then restart the workers. Once the workers connect to the attacker's Redis instance, the attacker can inject malicious job payloads that the workers execute, achieving arbitrary command execution as the worker account. Additionally, the download_attachments_on_load setting, which controls inline attachment rendering, was modifiable through the same interface, allowing a hijacked session to re-enable a feature that could facilitate further client-side attacks. The vulnerability requires site-admin privileges and a prior session-compromise mechanism; it does not require unauthenticated access. The impact is remote code execution in the context of the MISP worker process and potenti

  • Apr 1, 2021There's a flaw in the zeromq server in versions before 4.3.3 in src/decoder_allocators.hpp.CVE-2021-20235 · Other software · Zeromq · reported by Red HatHigh 8.1

There's a flaw in the zeromq server in versions before 4.3.3 in src/decoder_allocators.hpp. The decoder static allocator could have its sized changed, but the buffer would remain the same as it is a static buffer. A remote, unauthenticated attacker who sends a crafted request to the zeromq server could trigger a buffer overflow WRITE of arbitrary data if CURVE/ZAP authentication is not enabled. The greatest impact of this flaw is to application availability, data integrity, and confidentiality.

  • Sep 11, 2020In ZeroMQ before version 4.3.3, there is a denial-of-service vulnerability.CVE-2020-15166 · Other software · zeromq · reported by GitHubHigh 7.5

In ZeroMQ before version 4.3.3, there is a denial-of-service vulnerability. Users with TCP transport public endpoints, even with CURVE/ZAP enabled, are impacted. If a raw TCP socket is opened and connected to an endpoint that is fully configured with CURVE/ZAP, legitimate clients will not be able to exchange any message. Handshakes complete successfully, and messages are delivered to the library, but the server application never receives them. This is patched in version 4.3.3.

  • Jan 13, 2019A pointer overflow, with code execution, was discovered in ZeroMQ libzmq (aka 0MQ) 4.2.x and 4.3.x before 4.3.1.CVE-2019-6250 · Other software · Zeromq · reported by MITREHigh 8.8

A pointer overflow, with code execution, was discovered in ZeroMQ libzmq (aka 0MQ) 4.2.x and 4.3.x before 4.3.1. A v2_decoder.cpp zmq::v2_decoder_t::size_ready integer overflow allows an authenticated attacker to overwrite an arbitrary amount of bytes beyond the bounds of a buffer, which can be leveraged to run arbitrary code on the target system. The memory layout allows the attacker to inject OS commands into a data structure located immediately after the problematic buffer (i.e., it is not necessary to use a typical buffer-overflow exploitation technique that changes the flow of control).

Where this comes from: the exploited list is CISA’s Known Exploited Vulnerabilities catalog. Everything else is the whole National Vulnerability Database, where each record is published by the team that found the bug (Wordfence, Patchstack, WPScan, the vendors themselves and others); we show who. Exploit odds are FIRST’s EPSS, updated daily. Titles and categories are ours, so check the linked record before acting on a detail. For a write-up of the big ones, see our advisories.
