  • Oct 27, 2026follow-redirects is a Node.js HTTP and HTTPS client wrapper that automatically follows redirects.CVE-2026-116689 · Other software · follow-redirects · reported by GitHubMedium 5.9

follow-redirects is a Node.js HTTP and HTTPS client wrapper that automatically follows redirects. From 1.16.0 until 1.16.2, the documented sensitiveHeaders option is checked with value instanceof Array, so an array created in another JavaScript realm is replaced with an empty list even though Array.isArray recognizes it. When a request then follows an attacker-controlled cross-origin redirect, a custom credential header named in that discarded list can be forwarded to the redirect destination. This issue is fixed in version 1.16.2.

  • Oct 20, 2026follow-redirects is a Node.js HTTP and HTTPS client wrapper that automatically follows redirects.CVE-2026-111756 · Other software · follow-redirects · reported by GitHubHigh 8.2

follow-redirects is a Node.js HTTP and HTTPS client wrapper that automatically follows redirects. From version 1.16.0 to before version 1.16.1, follow-redirects removes sensitive credential headers (Authorization, Proxy-Authorization, Cookie, and any caller-declared sensitiveHeaders) before following a redirect that crosses to a different host or downgrades to a less secure protocol. The removal routine iterates the caller's headers container with for...in and matches header names against a filter. This assumes the headers container is a plain object keyed by header names. Node's underlying http.request, which follow-redirects is a drop-in replacement for, also accepts headers as an alternating array of names and values. For an array, for...in yields the numeric indices "0", "1", "2" and so on, which never match a header-name filter, so nothing is removed. An application that sends array-form headers and follows an attacker-controlled cross-origin redirect therefore forwards its Authorization, Cookie, and Proxy-Authorization headers verbatim to the attacker-controlled destination, with no error or warning. The sensitiveHeaders option added to fix CVE-2026-40895 / GHSA-r4q5-vmmm-265

  • Oct 19, 2026follow-redirects is a Node.js HTTP and HTTPS client wrapper that automatically follows redirects.CVE-2026-111755 · Other software · follow-redirects · reported by GitHubHigh 8.2

follow-redirects is a Node.js HTTP and HTTPS client wrapper that automatically follows redirects. From 1.16.0 until 1.16.1, escapeRegex leaves valid header-name metacharacters unescaped in sensitiveHeaders. When an application declares a sensitive header whose name contains ^ or | and follows a cross-origin or HTTPS-to-HTTP redirect, unescaped regular-expression metacharacters prevent the generated filter from matching the declared header name, and the credential header is forwarded to an attacker-controlled redirect target. This issue is fixed in version 1.16.1.

  • Oct 19, 2026@fastify/oauth2 is a Fastify wrapper for OAuth2 login flows.CVE-2026-110008 · Other software · @fastify/oauth2 · reported by ce714d77-add3-4f53-aff5-83d477b104bbMedium 4.2

@fastify/oauth2 is a Fastify wrapper for OAuth2 login flows. In versions 7.2.0 through 8.3.1, the state and code-verifier cookies are set without a Path attribute at a login route with two or more path segments, while the clearing step at the OAuth callback writes them with a root path, so the original cookies survive the callback and the documented single-use guarantee for the state value does not hold. A state value an attacker learns stays valid for the rest of the browser session, letting the attacker drive their own authorization flow in the victim's browser and sign the victim in to the attacker's account (login CSRF). The issue is fixed in @fastify/oauth2 8.3.2, and users should upgrade to 8.3.2 or later. As a workaround, set an explicit cookie path so the set and the clear name the same cookie.

  • Oct 5, 2026mppx-condition-gate provides conditional free-access wrappers for mppx payment methods.CVE-2026-104891 · Other software · douglasborthwick-crypto · reported by GitHubHigh 7.5

mppx-condition-gate provides conditional free-access wrappers for mppx payment methods. Prior to @insumermodel/mppx-condition-gate 3.0.0 and @insumermodel/mppx-token-gate 1.0.4, the packages read a wallet address from the client-supplied credential.source, checked whether that public address met configured on-chain conditions, and returned a successful free-access receipt without invoking the wrapped payment verifier or proving that the caller controlled the wallet. An unauthenticated attacker could name any qualifying wallet and obtain content that should require payment, and cached grants could be reused for the configured cache lifetime. The corrected packages prevent free-access authorization unless payer control has been established. These issues are fixed in @insumermodel/mppx-condition-gate 3.0.0 and @insumermodel/mppx-token-gate 1.0.4.

  • Sep 25, 2026When the http:// stream wrapper follows a redirect it forwards the user-supplied Authorization, Cookie and Proxy-Authorization headers unchanged, even when the CVE-2026-91766 · Websites & servers · PHP Group · reported by security@php.netMedium 5.9

When the http:// stream wrapper follows a redirect it forwards the user-supplied Authorization, Cookie and Proxy-Authorization headers unchanged, even when the redirect target is a different host, a different port, or a downgrade from HTTPS to HTTP. A server that can steer a redirect therefore receives credentials that were only meant for the original origin. This is the same class of issue that libcurl fixed in 7.58.0 ( CVE-2018-1000007 https://github.com/advisories/GHSA-g7x2-hrfp-pv5f ).

When the HTTP stream wrapper follows a redirect and the response carries a Location header with an empty value, the redirect code reads one byte past the end of the heap buffer holding the location. • Sep 25, 2026CliInvoke is a .NET library for invoking command-line programs, and its `CliInvoke.Specializations` packages provide specialized wrappers for shells such as PowCVE-2026-100368 · Other software · alastairlundy · reported by GitHubHigh 8.4

CliInvoke is a .NET library for invoking command-line programs, and its `CliInvoke.Specializations` packages provide specialized wrappers for shells such as PowerShell and Windows Command Prompt. `CliInvoke.Specializations` versions 2.2.0 through 2.8.4, 2.9.0 through 2.9.3, 2.10.0 through 2.10.4, 3.0.0-alpha.1 through 3.0.0-alpha.4, and 3.0.0-alpha.8 through 3.0.0-alpha.10, as well as `AlastairLundy.CliInvoke.Specializations` versions 1.0.0-rc.1 through 1.6.1.1, contain an OS command injection vulnerability in their PowerShell and Cmd wrappers. The wrappers pass a caller-controlled target and arguments to `pwsh -Command` or `cmd /c` using a single `ProcessStartInfo.Arguments` string, allowing a double quote in untrusted input to break operating-system-level quoting and cause the shell to execute an additional command with the host process's privileges. The vulnerability is patched in `CliInvoke.Specializations` versions 2.8.5, 2.9.4, 2.10.5, and 3.0.0-beta.1, and in `AlastairLundy.CliInvoke.Specializations` version 2.0.2. • Sep 22, 2026MISP ships with PHP's phar stream wrapper registered in both its web entry point and its console entry point.CVE-2026-95806 · Other software · MISP · reported by 5a6e4751-2f3f-4070-9419-94fb35b644e8High 7.7

MISP ships with PHP's phar stream wrapper registered in both its web entry point and its console entry point.  The phar stream wrapper causes PHP to treat a phar archive as a directory, which has two security consequences:    - any filesystem operation on a caller-influenced path that resolves to a phar archive triggers an implicit unserialize() call, creating a deserialization sink;  - a relocated application root can reach executable code inside an uploaded phar file, enabling arbitrary code execution as the web user. No component of MISP, the vendored CakePHP framework, or any runtime-loaded library reads or constructs phar archives. The wrapper therefore serves no legitimate purpose in the MISP runtime and exists solely as an available primitive for an attacker who can influence a filesystem path argument.

  • Sep 14, 2026garminconnect is a Python 3 API wrapper for Garmin Connect that retrieves statistics and manages activities.CVE-2026-54447 · Other software · cyberjunky · reported by GitHubHigh 8.4

garminconnect is a Python 3 API wrapper for Garmin Connect that retrieves statistics and manages activities. Prior to 0.3.5, garminconnect/client.py Client.dump creates the OAuth token directory and garmin_tokens.json without explicit owner-only modes, so a permissive umask such as 022 can leave the directory mode at 0755 and the token file mode at 0644. garmin_tokens.json contains di_refresh_token, and another unprivileged user on a shared Linux or macOS host can read the token and obtain persistent access to the victim's Garmin Connect account, including health, fitness, activity, and device data. The Garmin.login tokenstore path is affected, and a pre-existing loosely permissioned token file remains exposed until rewritten or manually restricted. This issue is fixed in version 0.3.5.

hbs is an Express view engine wrapper for Handlebars. Version 4.3.0 can crash the Node.js process during output escaping when an async helper, registered with registerAsyncHelper, resolves to an object whose toHTML property is truthy but not callable. Handlebars escapeExpression calls the toHTML method on any value that has a truthy toHTML, so such a value throws a TypeError, and because the async substitution runs on a later tick outside the render function's try/catch, the throw is an uncaught exception that terminates the process without sending a response. Only version 4.3.0 is affected, since the throwing escape was introduced by the fix for CVE-2026-16231 and earlier versions do not escape async helper values. It can be triggered remotely when an async helper resolves to an externally influenced object such as parsed JSON. The issue is fixed in hbs 4.3.1, and users should upgrade to hbs 4.3.1 or later.

Renovate versions >=32.124.0 and before 42.68.5 (and Mend renovate-ce/renovate-ee before 13.3.0) contain a command injection vulnerability in Gradle Wrapper artifact handling. When Renovate processes Gradle Wrapper updates, it invokes a wrapper update command via a shell (e.g. /bin/sh -c ... ./gradlew :wrapper --gradle-distribution-url <value>). If an attacker supplies a malicious gradle-wrapper.properties whose distributionUrl contains shell command substitution syntax such as $(...), the shell evaluates it before Gradle parses the URL, resulting in arbitrary command execution in the Renovate runtime. OAuth is a Ruby wrapper for the OAuth 1.0 and 1.0a protocols, providing clients and servers. From 0.5.5 to 1.1.5, OAuth::Consumer#token_request parses the raw Location header of a 300 to 399 redirect returned by the OAuth server and follows the redirect recursively, which can mutate the consumer's configuration and expose signed OAuth request metadata, including the Authorization header, to a cross-origin host. This issue is fixed in version 1.1.6.

OAuth2 is a Ruby wrapper for the OAuth 2.0 and 2.1 authorization frameworks, including OpenID Connect (OIDC). From 0.4.0 to 2.0.21, a protocol-relative redirect Location returned to OAuth2::Client#request overrides the request authority, so the bearer Authorization header is sent to an attacker-controlled host, leaking the credential. This issue is fixed in version 2.0.22.

phpMyFAQ before 4.1.5 contains a potential authenticated path traversal vulnerability in the concatenatePaths() function within src/phpMyFAQ/Export/Pdf/Wrapper.php. A user with FAQ editing privileges can store HTML containing crafted image paths that are processed during PDF generation. The path resolution logic locates the substring "content" within a user-controlled path using strpos(); when "content" is absent, strpos() returns false, which becomes 0 when cast to an integer, preserving the entire attacker-controlled path. This path is later passed to file_get_contents() without canonicalization or root-directory containment validation, which may allow reading of files outside the intended content directory.

Deserialization of untrusted data in the RemoteQueryCachePlugin in Amazon Web Services AWS Advanced JDBC Wrapper 3.3.0 through 4.0.0 might allow an actor with write access to the shared cache infrastructure to execute arbitrary code on application servers that read cached query results via a crafted serialized Java object. The RemoteQueryCachePlugin uses ObjectInputStream without class filtering when deserializing cached query results from Redis or Valkey, enabling gadget chain execution when cache entries are poisoned. We recommend upgrading to AWS Advanced JDBC Wrapper version 4.0.1 or later.
