  • Oct 27, 2026An attacker can read the name of filesystem paths of your application present via Tidewave configuration via /tidewave/connect or via the rendered toolbar.CVE-2026-109823 · Other software · tidewave-ai · reported by 6b3ad84c-e1a6-4bf7-a703-f496b71e49dbLow 2.3

An attacker can read the name of filesystem paths of your application present via Tidewave configuration via /tidewave/connect or via the rendered toolbar. Neither response checks the Host header. A web page that rebinds its own domain to the loopback address can therefore read the tag with a same-origin request, which carries no Origin header. The paths usually reveal the local username and the project layout. This issue affects tidewave: from 0.8.0 before 0.9.2.

  • Sep 24, 2026In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: drm/amdkfd: Fix OOB memory exposure in get_wave_state() The get_wave_state() function for CVE-2026-97496 · Computers, phones & browsers · Linux · reported by 416baaa9-dc9f-4396-8d5f-8c081fb06d67High 7.1

In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: drm/amdkfd: Fix OOB memory exposure in get_wave_state() The get_wave_state() function for v9 trusts cp_hqd_cntl_stack_size and cp_hqd_cntl_stack_offset values read directly from the MQD, which are written by GPU microcode and fully attacker-controlled on the CRIU-restore path (via AMDKFD_IOC_RESTORE_PROCESS with H3). this leads to an unbounded copy_to_user() that can leak adjacent GTT/kernel memory. If offset > size, integer underflow produces a ~4 GiB read length, if size is set to 1 MiB against a 4 KiB allocation, we leak 1 MiB of adjacent kernel memory (other queues' MQDs, ring buffers, KASLR pointers). Fix by clamping both cp_hqd_cntl_stack_size to the actual allocated buffer size (q->ctl_stack_size) and cp_hqd_cntl_stack_offset to the clamped size before performing arithmetic and copy_to_user(). This ensures we never read beyond the allocated kernel BO regardless of attacker-supplied MQD field values.

Wavelog is web-based amateur radio logging software. From 1.8 until 2.4.2, Wavelog exposes /install/ajax.php and /install/includes/interface_assets/triggers.php after installation without an installation lock or permission check. Unsanitized input reaches write_config() and write_configfile() in install/includes/core/core_class.php, allowing a remote unauthenticated attacker to read or write log files and place attacker-controlled content into PHP configuration files. • Sep 16, 2026In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: media: chips-media: wave5: Defer job_finish() only when a DEC_PIC was queued Decoder instaCVE-2026-89867 · Computers, phones & browsers · Linux · reported by 416baaa9-dc9f-4396-8d5f-8c081fb06d67

In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: media: chips-media: wave5: Defer job_finish() only when a DEC_PIC was queued Decoder instances sharing a VPU also share one v4l2_m2m job slot, released when the running context calls v4l2_m2m_job_finish(). While draining, device_run() defers job_finish() once EOS is sent (sent_eos), expecting a later finish_decode() (from a DEC_PIC completion IRQ) to release the slot. But the m2m core checks job_ready() only when a job is queued, not when it is dispatched. A job queued while draining can run after finish_decode() has already moved the instance to STOP and sent EOS. device_run() then runs in STOP, issues no DEC_PIC, yet still skips job_finish() - so no IRQ, no finish_decode(), and the shared slot is leaked, stalling every instance. With several v4l2h264dec instances in parallel, GStreamer hangs at EOS. Track whether the run actually queued a DEC_PIC (cmd_issued) and defer job_finish() only then. Otherwise finish the job immediately

In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: media: chips-media: wave5: Move src_buf Removal to finish_encode During encoder processing, there is a case where the IRQ response could return the buffer back to userspace via v4l2_m2m_buf_done call. In this time, userspace could queue up this same buffer before start_encode removes the index from the ready queue. This would then lead to a case where the buffer in the ready queue could be a self loop due to the WRITE_ONCE(prev->next, new) call in __list_add. When __list_del is finally called, the loop is already made so nothing points back to ready queue list head and pointers are poisoned. A buffer should not be marked as DONE before the buffer is removed from m2m ready queue. Move removal entirely to finish_encode.

  • Jun 17, 2026CarrierWave is a framework to upload files from Ruby applications.CVE-2026-44587 · Other software · carrierwaveuploader · reported by GitHubMedium 4.7

CarrierWave is a framework to upload files from Ruby applications. In versions prior to 2.2.7 and 3.1.3, the content_type_denylist check fails to escape regex metacharacters in string entries, causing the denylist to silently not match the content types it is intended to block. In lib/carrierwave/uploader/content_type_denylist.rb:57, denylist entries are interpolated directly into a regex without Regexp.quote or anchoring, so an entry such as image/svg+xml becomes the pattern /image\/svg+xml/, in which + is treated as a quantifier rather than a literal character and therefore never matches the real MIME type image/svg+xml. This is inconsistent with the allowlist implementation, which correctly applies both Regexp.quote and a \A anchor. Other content types containing regex metacharacters, such as application/xhtml+xml, are affected as well. As a result, any application that relies on content_type_denylist to block image/svg+xml, most commonly to prevent stored XSS, is silently unprotected. An attacker can upload an SVG file containing arbitrary JavaScript; if the application serves that SVG inline from its own origin, the script executes in the victim's browser, resulting in stored

Waves Central for macOS versions 13.0.9 through 16.5.5 contain a local privilege escalation vulnerability in the privileged helper service. The helper validates connecting XPC clients using the client process identifier (PID) to verify code-signing identity. Because process identifiers can be reused, a local attacker can exploit a race condition between the time a connection request is made and the time the helper performs validation, causing the helper to trust an attacker-controlled process. This allows the attacker to invoke privileged operations, resulting in arbitrary code execution as root. The issue is fixed in version 16.6.2.

Waves Central for macOS versions 13.0.9 through 16.5.5 contain a local privilege escalation vulnerability. A trusted XPC client component included with the product is signed with hardened runtime entitlements that permit dynamic library injection. A local attacker can set the DYLD_INSERT_LIBRARIES environment variable to inject an attacker-controlled dynamic library into the trusted client process at launch. The injected code runs within the signed process and can connect to the product's privileged helper service to invoke privileged operations, resulting in arbitrary code execution as root. The issue is fixed in version 16.6.2.

Markdown Preview Enhanced before 0.8.28 parses WaveDrom diagrams by evaluating untrusted markdown content with eval(), allowing arbitrary JavaScript execution. The flaw affects every render path - the live preview (window.eval) and presentation mode plus HTML export (the bundled WaveDrom.ProcessAll()/eva() helpers) - and can also be triggered through a <script type="WaveDrom"> element injected via raw HTML in markdown. When a victim previews or exports a crafted markdown document, an attacker can execute arbitrary code, leading to arbitrary file write. Fixed in 0.8.28 by parsing with JSON5.parse() and sanitizing WaveDrom data scripts to inert strict JSON.

In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: media: chips-media: wave5: Fix PM runtime usage count underflow Replace pm_runtime_put_sync() with pm_runtime_dont_use_autosuspend() in the remove path to properly pair with pm_runtime_use_autosuspend() from probe. This allows pm_runtime_disable() to handle reference count cleanup correctly regardless of current suspend state. The driver calls pm_runtime_put_sync() unconditionally in remove, but the device may already be suspended due to autosuspend configured in probe. When autosuspend has already suspended the device, the usage count is 0, and pm_runtime_put_sync() decrements it to -1. In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: media: chips-media: wave5: Fix kthread worker destruction in polling mode Fix the cleanup order in polling mode (irq < 0) to prevent kernel warnings during module removal. Cancel the hrtimer before destroying the kthread worker to ensure work queues are empty. In polling mode, the driver uses hrtimer to periodically trigger wave5_vpu_timer_callback() which queues work via kthread_queue_work(). The kthread_destroy_worker() function validates that both work queues are empty with WARN_ON(!list_empty(&worker->work_list)) and WARN_ON(!list_empty(&worker->delayed_work_list)). The original code called kthread_destroy_worker() before hrtimer_cancel(), creating a race condition where the timer could fire during worker destruction and queue new work, triggering the WARN_ON. • May 6, 2026In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: media: chips-media: wave5: Fix device cleanup order to prevent kernel panic Move video devCVE-2026-43229 · Computers, phones & browsers · Linux · reported by 416baaa9-dc9f-4396-8d5f-8c081fb06d67Medium 5.5

In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: media: chips-media: wave5: Fix device cleanup order to prevent kernel panic Move video device unregistration to the beginning of the remove function to ensure all video operations are stopped before cleaning up the worker thread and disabling PM runtime. This prevents hardware register access after the device has been powered down. In polling mode, the hrtimer periodically triggers wave5_vpu_timer_callback() which queues work to the kthread worker. The worker executes wave5_vpu_irq_work_fn() which reads hardware registers via wave5_vdi_read_register(). The original cleanup order disabled PM runtime and powered down hardware before unregistering video devices. When autosuspend triggers and powers off the hardware, the video devices are still registered and the worker thread can still be triggered by the hrtimer, causing it to attempt reading registers from powered-off hardware. This results in a bus error (synchronous external abort) and kernel panic. This causes random kernel panics during encoding operations: Internal error: synchronous external abort: 0000000096000010 [#1] PREEMPT SMP Modules linked
