Oct 29, 2026A flaw was found in the JWT Authorization Grant implementation of the keycloak-services component.CVE-2026-117627 · Other software · Red Hat · reported by Red HatMedium 5.4
A flaw was found in the JWT Authorization Grant implementation of the keycloak-services component. When an OIDC or Google identity provider is configured with specific login restrictions, such as claim filtering, these checks are correctly applied during standard browser logins but are skipped during the JWT-based grant flow. This allows an authenticated client to obtain access tokens for a user even if their identity provider claims should have blocked the login.

Oct 28, 2026Apache Kafka's code-generated readers for flexible protocol versions read a tagged-field count declared by the sender and retain a RawTaggedField object for eacCVE-2026-111115 · Websites & servers · Apache Software Foundation · reported by security@apache.org
Apache Kafka's code-generated readers for flexible protocol versions read a tagged-field count declared by the sender and retain a RawTaggedField object for each unknown field. That count was bounded only by the outer request frame size (socket.request.max.bytes); it was not checked against the remaining buffer bytes or capped. Because each entry can be encoded in as little as two bytes (unknown tag 0, size 0), a modest request can declare tens of millions of tagged fields and force one object allocation per declared field. Flexible request headers (header version 2, used by flexible APIs such as ApiVersions v3) are parsed this way, so the amplification applies to the request header itself. Impact: The flexible request header is parsed on the network thread before authorization, request dispatch, and request-time quota accounting. A client can send a request of a few tens of megabytes whose header declares about 20 million tagged fields, forcing roughly that many RawTaggedField allocations and exhausting broker heap or inducing process-wide GC stalls, denying broker service. Because the header is parsed for pre-authentication APIs such as ApiVersions (v3), the allocation can occu

Oct 28, 2026A Kafka broker using SASL/OAUTHBEARER with the default validator (sasl.oauthbearer.jwt.validator.class=DefaultJwtValidator) selects its implementation from confCVE-2026-110985 · Websites & servers · Apache Software Foundation · reported by security@apache.org
A Kafka broker using SASL/OAUTHBEARER with the default validator (sasl.oauthbearer.jwt.validator.class=DefaultJwtValidator) selects its implementation from configuration. When sasl.oauthbearer.jwks.endpoint.url is set, the validator verifies the JWT signature. When that URL is unset (the default) and no verification key resolver is supplied, DefaultJwtValidator silently falls back to ClientJwtValidator, which does not verify the JWT signature, algorithm, or issuer - and the broker starts with no warning or error. This is the residual of CVE-2026-33557, whose fix restored signature verification only on the path where the JWKS endpoint URL is set. Impact: A broker in this state accepts any structurally valid JWT, including "alg":"none" tokens. An unauthenticated remote attacker who can reach the listener can forge a token asserting any principal - including configured superusers - and gain full access to the cluster. Only brokers that enable SASL/OAUTHBEARER validation without a JWKS endpoint URL (and without a custom verification key resolver) are affected; brokers that set the URL verify signatures and are not affected. Unlike CVE-2026-110952 (issuer/audience not enforced by def

Oct 28, 2026A Kafka broker that authenticates clients with SASL/OAUTHBEARER using the bundled JWKS-backed validator always verifies the JWT signature, but two further checkCVE-2026-110952 · Websites & servers · Apache Software Foundation · reported by security@apache.org
A Kafka broker that authenticates clients with SASL/OAUTHBEARER using the bundled JWKS-backed validator always verifies the JWT signature, but two further checks are only performed when explicitly configured: - The issuer (iss) claim is verified only when sasl.oauthbearer.expected.issuer is set. When it is unset, a validly-signed token carrying the expected audience is accepted regardless of which issuer minted it. - An audience (aud) claim is required only when sasl.oauthbearer.expected.audience is set. When it is unset, a validly-signed token that omits the aud claim is accepted. (A token that carries an aud claim is still rejected when no expected audience is configured.) Both options default to unset and have been documented as optional (Importance LOW) since KIP-768 (3.1.0). Impact: The exposure is realizable mainly in deployments whose JWKS endpoint serves signing keys for more than one issuer (a multi-tenant identity provider, an aggregated/shared JWKS, or shared signing keys): a token minted for a different issuer, or a token lacking an audience, may be accepted to authenticate — potentially as a higher-privileged principal. In a single-issuer deployment where the

Oct 21, 2026Apache Pulsar's MultiRolesTokenAuthorizationProvider authorizes a client with all roles listed in a claim of its JSON Web Token (JWT).CVE-2026-105869 · Websites & servers · Apache Software Foundation · reported by security@apache.orgCritical 9.2
Apache Pulsar's MultiRolesTokenAuthorizationProvider authorizes a client with all roles listed in a claim of its JSON Web Token (JWT). The provider is intended for use with token authentication, which verifies the token before authorization. The provider did not verify the token itself: it parsed the token's claims with the signature removed and trusted that authentication had already checked it. When authentication and authorization are enabled with a non-empty anonymousUserRole setting, some HTTP requests whose credentials fail authentication are not rejected, but are handled as requests of the anonymous user role. For the broker's HTTP endpoints, such as the admin REST API, this fallback applies to requests that do not name an authentication method and requires strictAuthMethod to be false (the default) where that setting is available. For the WebSocket API, failed credentials can also fall back to the anonymous user role; this path does not enforce strictAuthMethod. The authentication data kept for such a request still contained the request's Authorization header. MultiRolesTokenAuthorizationProvider then read the bearer token from that header without verifying its signature a

The War Thunder game client transmits its authentication bearer token (auth_jwt) in the very first data packet after the TCP handshake, using only LZ4 compression rather than encryption. An attacker positioned on the network path can passively intercept and decompress this packet to reveal the plaintext JSON payload. This vulnerability allows for temporary authenticated impersonation, enabling an attacker to access game services and certain user data (such as email address and displayed phone number) as the affected user. While this allows for unauthorized access to gameplay, it does not facilitate full account takeover, as it cannot be used to modify account security settings, change passwords, bypass two-factor authentication for account management, or access financial information.

Oct 20, 2026A VideoStreaming interface reports the size of its whole class-specific descriptor block in the `wTotalLength` field of its input header.CVE-2026-96406 · Other software · Eclipse Foundation · reported by emo@eclipse.orgMedium 4.9
A VideoStreaming interface reports the size of its whole class-specific descriptor block in the `wTotalLength` field of its input header. The USBX host recorded that figure and used it as the budget for walking the format, frame and frame-interval descriptors, without holding it against the configuration descriptor actually received. A device that reports a `wTotalLength` larger than the descriptors it supplies therefore had its own claim believed. In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: ipvs: bound LBLCR and LBLC cache growth ip_vs_lblcr_new() and ip_vs_lblc_new() create cache entries for every previously unseen destination address. The table max_size only tells the periodic collector to reclaim entries after the cache has already exceeded the limit. It does not reclaim entries that the attacker continues to use. Reject new cache entries once either table reaches max_size * 3 / 2. The extra headroom lets the periodic collector catch up while the existing scheduler fallback continues to use the selected destination when cache creation fails. New traffic therefore stays serviceable without growing the tables further.

In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: netfilter: nft_flow_offload: drop flowtable reference on init error path nft_flow_offload_init() bumps the flowtable use count with nft_use_inc() before calling nf_ct_netns_get(). When the latter fails, the error is returned as-is and the reference is leaked. The upper layers do not balance it either: nf_tables_newexpr() clears expr->ops when the expression init callback fails, so the nft_expr_more() iteration in nft_rule_expr_deactivate() and nf_tables_rule_destroy() stops right before the failed expression and its ->destroy callback, which would drop the reference, never runs. Each failed rule addition therefore leaks one flowtable reference and the flowtable can no longer be removed: NFT_MSG_DELFLOWTABLE keeps reporting -EBUSY even though no rule references it. Save the nf_ct_netns_get() return value and undo the nft_use_inc() when it fails, restoring the inc/dec pairing within nft_flow_offload_init() itself.

In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: netfilter: flowtable: publish HW_DEAD after worker is done flow_offload_work_del() sets NF_FLOW_HW_DEAD before the work handler clears NF_FLOW_HW_PENDING. Once a flow is both HW_DYING and HW_DEAD, a concurrent garbage collection pass can remove it and schedule it for RCU freeing. The offload worker holds neither an RCU read lock nor a reference to the flow. If it is preempted after publishing HW_DEAD, the RCU callback can free the flow before the worker resumes and clears HW_PENDING, resulting in a use-after-free. Move HW_DEAD publication to the common worker epilogue after the pending bit is cleared, making it the final flow access by destroy work. Order all preceding flow accesses before publishing the bit that allows garbage collection to free the object.

In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: net: ipv6: keep room for the mac header in dst_dev_overhead() The seg6, ioam6 and rpl lwtunnels size their skb_cow_head() request as the length they are about to push plus dst_dev_overhead(), then push the new headers and rebuild the mac header below them with skb_mac_header_rebuild(). That rebuild needs skb->mac_len of headroom, but dst_dev_overhead() leaves LL_RESERVED_SPACE() of the egress device, 16 bytes for plain Ethernet. Where the mac header is longer than that, as it is on ingress through a VLAN device with reorder_hdr off, the rebuild runs out of room: skb_set_mac_header(skb, -skb->mac_len) computes a negative offset, stores it unchecked in the u16 skb->mac_header, and the memmove that follows writes skb->mac_len bytes about 64 KB past skb->head. Forwarding plain ping6 traffic through such a device reproduces it on all five seg6 encapsulation modes and on the rpl and ioam6 inline paths; skb->mac_header comes back as 65534 on a 704-byte head. Return the larger of the two. The helper already returns skb->mac_len when it has no dst, so this only makes the other branch agree, and it covers every caller

Oct 18, 2026@fastify/jwt is a JWT utility plugin for Fastify.CVE-2026-110024 · Other software · @fastify/jwt · reported by ce714d77-add3-4f53-aff5-83d477b104bbMedium 6.8
@fastify/jwt is a JWT utility plugin for Fastify. In versions prior to 10.2.5, the top-level sign and verify methods replace the globally configured defaults with the per-call options instead of merging them, so passing any per-call option silently drops every global default that the call does not restate, including temporal protections such as token expiration and maximum accepted token age. A token signed this way carries no expiration claim and never expires, and verification stops enforcing a configured maximum age, so stale or never-expiring tokens are accepted. The route-level decorators for signing and verifying already merge options and are not affected. The issue is fixed in @fastify/jwt 10.2.5, and users should upgrade to 10.2.5 or later.

Oct 15, 2026The Apache Airflow Keycloak auth manager did not end the session on logout: the logout route revoked the presented token, but `KeycloakJWTMiddleware` then issueCVE-2026-96806 · Websites & servers · Apache Software Foundation · reported by security@apache.orgMedium 5.8
The Apache Airflow Keycloak auth manager did not end the session on logout: the logout route revoked the presented token, but `KeycloakJWTMiddleware` then issued a new, unrevoked token on the same response, so the user stayed logged in. Deployments using the Keycloak auth manager are affected: after a user logs out, anyone with later access to the same browser (for example on a shared workstation) can continue to act as that user. Users of apache-airflow-providers-keycloak are recommended to upgrade to apache-airflow-providers-keycloak 0.11.1 or later.

Oct 14, 2026Integer overflow in the message buffer growth logic (mbuf_make_room) in PgBouncer 1.21.0 through 1.26.0 allows a remote attacker to cause a denial of service whCVE-2026-107348 · Other software · reported by f86ef6dc-4d3a-42ad-8f28-e6d5547a5007Medium 5.9
Integer overflow in the message buffer growth logic (mbuf_make_room) in PgBouncer 1.21.0 through 1.26.0 allows a remote attacker to cause a denial of service when max_packet_size is configured above 2147483648. A packet header declaring a length above 2^31 makes the buffer size computation overflow, leaving the growth loop unable to terminate. Because PgBouncer serves all clients from a single process, this saturates a CPU core and stalls every pooled connection until the process is restarted. Since 1.23.0 the overflow is reachable before authentication with a five-byte packet header.

Oct 14, 2026Description NGINX Gateway Fabric has a vulnerability when it renders the spec.basic.realm (and spec.jwt.realm) field of a namespaced AuthenticationFilter verbaCVE-2026-91184 · Network & remote access · F5 · reported by f5sirt@f5.comHigh 8.7
Description NGINX Gateway Fabric has a vulnerability when it renders the spec.basic.realm (and spec.jwt.realm) field of a namespaced AuthenticationFilter verbatim, unescaped and unvalidated, into the shared data-plane nginx.conf as auth_basic "<realm>";. A namespaced authenticated attacker that configures AuthenticationFilter CRD to an HTTPRoute/GRPCRoute on a shared Gateway can craft a realm value that closes the quoted directive and the enclosing location {} block and injects arbitrary NGINX directives into that Gateway's data-plane config. Impact A remote authenticated attacker can send crafted requests to configure NGINX Gateway Fabric AuthenticationFilter CRD and may be able to read every co-located tenant's mounted secrets, SSRF via proxy_pass, reading the pod ServiceAccount token, or hijacking other tenants' routes. There is no data plane exposure; this is a control plane issue only. Note: Software versions which have reached End of Technical Support (EoTS) are not evaluated.

A remote code execution vulnerability in ONLYOFFICE Document Server versions before10.0.0 allows an authenticated attacker with a valid Inbox-compatible JWT to execute arbitrary operating system commands as the ds service account. The Document Builder API improperly processes user-controlled converter XML supplied through the optional third argument of builder.SaveFile(). By injecting a duplicate m_sFileTo element, an attacker can override the server-generated output path and write arbitrary content outside the designated job directory. In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: bpf: Disallow bpf_skb_pull_data() for LWT_SEG6LOCAL An LWT_SEG6LOCAL program can invalidate its cached SRH with bpf_lwt_seg6_adjust_srh() and then call bpf_skb_pull_data(). The latter may reallocate skb->head, leaving the per-CPU SRH pointer dangling. Post-program SRH validation then writes through that pointer. Disallow bpf_skb_pull_data() for LWT_SEG6LOCAL programs so the verifier rejects this unsafe helper combination. Other LWT program types continue to expose the helper through lwt_out_func_proto().

Oct 8, 2026fast-jwt provides fast JSON Web Token (JWT) implementation.CVE-2026-107724 · Other software · nearform · reported by GitHubHigh 7.4
fast-jwt provides fast JSON Web Token (JWT) implementation. In 6.2.4, fast-jwt can classify raw serialized public JWK or JWKS JSON as an HMAC secret because src/crypto.js performDetectPublicKeyAlgorithms treats non-PEM strings as symmetric key material. If HS256 is explicitly allowed or inferred, an attacker who knows the exact serialized public-key bytes can use those bytes as an HMAC key and create a token containing arbitrary claims that createVerifier accepts. Serialization ordering or whitespace differences can prevent exploitation, and applications using supported PEM keys with an asymmetric-only algorithm allowlist are not affected. This issue is fixed in version 6.3.0.

Oct 8, 2026fast-jwt provides fast JSON Web Token (JWT) implementation.CVE-2026-107723 · Other software · nearform · reported by GitHubHigh 8.1
fast-jwt provides fast JSON Web Token (JWT) implementation. Prior to 6.3.0, fast-jwt createVerifier accepts a validly signed JWT whose payload is a JSON array because src/decoder.js checks that the payload is an object but does not reject arrays. The claim validator loop then finds no named exp, nbf, iss, aud, sub, jti, or nonce properties and silently skips those configured checks, returning the array as a successfully verified payload. An attacker who can produce or influence a validly signed token may bypass expiry, issuer, audience, subject, revocation, and replay protections. The opt-in requiredClaims option can block missing claims, and signature verification itself is not bypassed. This issue is fixed in version 6.3.0.

Oct 8, 2026fast-jwt provides fast JSON Web Token (JWT) implementation.CVE-2026-107722 · Other software · nearform · reported by GitHubCritical 9.8
fast-jwt provides fast JSON Web Token (JWT) implementation. From 6.2.0 until 6.3.0, fast-jwt can misclassify RSA public-key text as an HMAC secret when the key has non-whitespace content before its PEM header. In src/crypto.js, performDetectPublicKeyAlgorithms trims whitespace but publicKeyPemMatcher remains start-anchored, so comments, control characters, zero-width characters, or wrapper text can prevent PEM detection and reach the HMAC fallback. An attacker who knows the public key bytes can sign arbitrary HS256 claims with that public material when HS256 is inferred or allowed, resulting in authentication or authorization bypass. An asymmetric-only algorithm allowlist prevents the attack. This issue is fixed in version 6.3.0.
