  • Oct 21, 2026Contest Gallery: Does not reliably validate the visitor identity used to enforce its one-vote-per-entry restrictionCVE-2026-107447 · WordPress plugins & themes · reported by WPScanMedium 5.3

The Contest Gallery WordPress plugin before 34.0.1 does not reliably validate the visitor identity used to enforce its one-vote-per-entry restriction, trusting a client-supplied request header and an unbound client-generated token, which allows unauthenticated users to bypass the restriction and cast multiple votes for the same contest entry, inflating its vote total.

Grav Star Ratings 2.0.1 through 2.0.3 contains a missing authorization vulnerability that allows unauthenticated visitors to vote by bypassing client-only vote_access and readonly enforcement. Attackers can use the anonymous nonce emitted by getData() to submit votes directly to addVote(), manipulating restricted or disabled ratings and aggregate rating output.

In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: drm/msm/dsi: Drop dev_pm_opp_set_rate(0) dev_pm_opp_set_rate(0) removes the vote specified in required-opps but does not actually park the clock, making it run without the necessary power backing. • Sep 16, 2026Contest Gallery – Upload & Vote Photos, Media, Sell with PayPal & Stripe: Unauthenticated Arbitrary File OverwriteCVE-2026-78088 · WordPress plugins & themes · reported by WordfenceHigh 8.8

The Contest Gallery – Upload & Vote Photos, Media, Sell with PayPal & Stripe plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to Unauthenticated Arbitrary File Overwrite in all versions up to, and including, 32.0.1 due to insufficient file path validation in the 'baseUrlForFacebook' parameter. • Aug 26, 2026Kimai before 2.56.0 does not enforce team-membership checks in TimesheetVoter::voteOnAttribute(), which maps permissions only to own_timesheet or other_timesheeCVE-2026-80202 · Other software · kimai · reported by VulnCheckCritical 9.3

Kimai before 2.56.0 does not enforce team-membership checks in TimesheetVoter::voteOnAttribute(), which maps permissions only to own_timesheet or other_timesheet. As a result, any authenticated user with ROLE_TEAMLEAD (or a role holding edit_other_timesheet/delete_other_timesheet) can read, modify, and permanently delete timesheets belonging to any user system-wide via the API, regardless of team membership. Timesheet IDs are sequential integers and trivially enumerable. ROLE_USER accounts are correctly restricted. (Note: the maintainers characterize this behavior as matching the documented permission model.)

  • Jun 17, 2026Contest Gallery – Upload & Vote Photos, Media, Sell with PayPal & Stripe: Privilege EscalationCVE-2026-12165 · WordPress plugins & themes · reported by WordfenceHigh 8.8

The Contest Gallery – Upload & Vote Photos, Media, Sell with PayPal & Stripe plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to Privilege Escalation in all versions up to, and including, 30.0.2 via the `RegistryUserRole` parameter. This is due to the plugin's admin menu being registered at the `edit_posts` capability level — granting Contributor-level users access to the plugin's admin pages and a valid `cg_admin` nonce — while the option-saving handler in `change-options-and-sizes.php` performs no `current_user_can()` capability check beyond `check_admin_referer('cg_admin')`, and the `RegistryUserRole` value is processed only through `sanitize_text_field()` and `htmlentities()` without restriction to an allowlist of permitted role names. This makes it possible for authenticated attackers, with author-level access and above, to overwrite the plugin's stored `RegistryUserRole` option with `administrator`, which the `cg_create_wp_user_from_google_user` function then reads back from the `contest_gal1ery_registry_and_login_options` database table without any allowlist validation and passes directly to `wp_update_user()`, effectively promoting a newly registered Google sign-in account to Administrat

  • May 12, 2026Rate Star Review Vote - AJAX Reviews, Votes, Star Ratings: Missing AuthorizationCVE-2026-4301 · WordPress plugins & themes · reported by WordfenceMedium 4.3

The Rate Star Review Vote - AJAX Reviews, Votes, Star Ratings plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to Missing Authorization in all versions up to and including 1.6.4. The vwrsr_review() AJAX handler lacks both capability checks and nonce verification. The only access control is an is_user_logged_in() check. When the 'form' parameter is set to 'update', the function takes an arbitrary post ID from the user-supplied 'rating_id' GET parameter, sets it as the post ID in the update array, and passes it directly to wp_update_post(). This overwrites the target post's title, content, author (changed to the attacker's user ID), post_type (changed to the plugin's custom post type, default 'review'), and status. Additionally, update_post_meta() is called on the arbitrary post ID at lines 758-763, modifying its metadata. This makes it possible for authenticated attackers, with Subscriber-level access and above, to modify the title, content, author, post type, and metadata of arbitrary posts and pages on the site via the 'rating_id' parameter, effectively allowing full post content takeover.
